well as a hemipalegic and being 34 to young for a granny scooter and being I'm now in NL with the constant rain and snow my golfcars starting to suck in the weather so I've been looking into these I first say the daymak but with one hand the throttle is where my concerns come in so I've been looking into the gio where all id lose is the signals but people here don't use them anyways but that nova would be perfect just reach across for the signals like I did when I was driving post stroke and with pedals rather then lever brakes I could actually use the brakes
@MCscarfacematt FYI , throttle and brakes can be modified to a foot pedals. But you have to find right person to do it for you. I have done such a modifications, but on 3 wheel scooter. So watch my other video about Titan Premium throttle modification ( 3 parts video with 3 different options)
@@You-can-fix-it Someone on an online forum said that the Boomer Buggy X Pro can be modified to be as fast as a regular motorized vehicle with off-road capabilities by switching out and upgrading the motor, rims, tires, and the breaks. Is all this really possible? I personally would only need something (that has both heating and air conditioning) that can go no faster than normal speed limits 10 ~ 46mph + and have the capabilities of traveling (at least) a little over 50miles on a single charge. Just that alone would allow me to have the means of driving myself to and from classes, doctor's appointments, as well as to the grocery store as needed. I've been scouring the internet for months now and I haven't found anything online in regards to just how such supposed upgrades would come about... Does anyone have any advice, tips, or can at least verify whether or not such modifications to a Boomer Buggy X Pro are even possible?
they have an alarm on some or there's an option to get an aftermarket alarm or have great neighbours to build a ramp and replace the door on the shed I initially asked his opinion to put it in the back room of the house and he said if I pay for materials and a case of beer hed build a ramp and put in a garage door and automatic garage door opener
@SpartTheGreat I have no idea about boomer buggy X pro, but Golf Premium model has A/C. But be aware that it will use tons of energy, so better to get optional Lithium ion battery pack
bbx and gio are about $8,000 as per my shopping around, The Boomer buggy is considered a mobility scooter so falls under the tax exemption of a medical device with a price tag of $7,999 The Gio does not, as its a recreational mobility scooter so tax would be added at $7,699 but after tax is $8,058 only $59 more than the boomer buggy but that's buying from gio and daymak not adding the retail mark up I have no idea about the nova price tag as I've never heard of it until now but I just looked into it they do not qualify for the medical device tax exemption that model of nova is $10,500 plus taxand shipping for me would come out to $12,231.39 so the steering wheel and pedal would be nice ill go with the gio personally
Thank you very much for your reply:). I had no idea that some of these aren't even considered mobility scooters. There are very comforting laws in place to protect disabled people & their mobility devices. Not like I'd drive my Gio into the grocery store... But it would really give me comfort knowing mine really is a mobility scooter. Now, I'm grappling with. How is someone living in an apartment supposed to charge these? Not everyone has a 2 car garage. Imagine if you're on the 2nd floor? I was on the phone, cash in hand! There wasn't a doubt in my mind, that the batteries didn't come out for charging... & worse, what if someone disabled was homeless? Cuz I'm gonna be Oct 1st. So now I'm forced to buy an old piece of crap car & pay insurance, fear breaking down every day. Cuz I can't plug in the new car I want...
LOL these are very cute. For wealthy people with no limits. And here I thought... these will certainly sell for at least, $5000. Brother... was I wrong. And strictly for wealthy people. It's a conversation, item. As there is no way to stow, your electric wheelchair. It's not designed for elderly or handicapped people. It's designed for young whippersnappers. That want, the closest, parking spaces. You can park in, perpendicular. Like a motorcycle. And get, 2 or 3 in a single parking space. But of course. They look like an electric, Half a Smartcar. Does that mean you should only be half as smart. To purchase one? One would assume so. Parts? There won't be any parts. Service? There will be no service. Warranty? What's that? No speak English. How long will it function for? At least one round trip to the grocery store. Maybe? RemyRAD PS it will come with a 2 week warranty. Shipping takes over a month.
The Gio says drive me😂😂😂❤.
We love the golf!
This all would be good for a small town. Driving to supper market, friends and park.👍
Wish I had a dollar for every time you say UM
he must be taking after the government
Yeah, if I did I'd be able to buy that Nova!
I like the Gio

Gios are horrible for reliability. I see NOTHING but issues with them. Try the Nova or the BBX.

@YamiIbitsuDenpa You can upgrade any power to any equipment, but as soon as you go faster than allowed, cops will confiscate it...Trust me
do people have trouble with these being stolen? and presumably they have to be parked outside

the boomer buggy X pro claims to have air conditioning... is that true???
Check out Gio Golf Premium, you can order one with A/C and Lithium batteries
What are the benefits of Lithium batteries??
@matthewcamareno4127 They give you longer distance and their life expectancy is 10 time longer
They're also half the weight. Always go for lithium ion if given the choice... & you can afford it;).

We need at least a ballpark price in order to get anything out of this comparison.
