Remember a pyratite mixer only uses 12 power so it's perfect to use with 3 small solar panels and a battery. Pyratite is awesome for pvp or attack maps since it just sets everything on fire

Unloaders work in both directions. The reason the first design worked when you made it is because you made it in order. So the first mixer was full and could only unload in one direction, repeat with each addition. When you copied it, all the mixers were empty so there was room for the unloaders to pass backwards. They were passing the same resources back and forth and jamming up.

Great work and great designs. In the first schem the unloaders need a conveyor between each unloader and mixer. Idk why but that will make it unload faster.

Edit: by the way, I think that the first scheme is complicated because the unloaders return the materials back, I also think that there are problems when you copy it because of the way in which a "timing" is created in the behavior of the same, the unloaders can be a little troublesome

Main reason y the pyratite in the 2nd test doesnt work due to "backflow". Unloaders arent only unloading on where we expected it to unload, it also unloads backwards. Summary its like a router chain sorry to say but unloaders use tita so might me useless to other sectors without tita unless launchpads r researched.
Although back flow is fixed in v6

thats because the first buid pyratite mixer alternating each other
so
first build : alternating making it constantly consume the material
second build : didn't alternating making it consume material at the same time (sometimes 4 mixer consuming material and sometimes 3 mixer consuming material)
fixes : use logic to make it alternating
before 3:00
its working at 4:50 because it just need a time to stabilize

2:28 It no longer works because the unloader actually passes and takes the items from both of them so it if you put it again it gonna be stuck on like 2-3 or something and then goes up really slowly and the conveyor can't input items because of that back and forth item transport. It works if you do it manually its because the last one in that time is already filled and can't output back so it goes there. This is why i don't like using unloaders for long unloader chain transpot by its own. Maybe you have to sacrifice 1 block(or tile whatever you want to call it) to be an inverted sorter if you want it 100% going to the next one.
7:17 Instead of using solar panels just use combustion gens, because you're already inputting coal and the pyra mixers don't require as much power anyway. Also i feel like the output doesn't require 6 and just use 4. So how do we do that? Well move the coal bridges with a conveyor on its back, then make the input conveyor link to the maximum. In the back of the coal bridge in the pyra mixer place the brigde there and connect it now. You can also turn one of them to an underflow and put the combustion gen there.

Maybe forget about it. So back to unloaders. I don't like using unloaders to unit factories siphoning from another factroy. Say you want a t5 but then decided to use an unloader from the starting unit factory to t5 that's so ineffecient because the if you input silicon in the first factory the silicon will go to there, to t2, t3, t4 and t5, you may say that's great and it will feed it and it will work. The problem that its now an overflow gate why? Becuase the silicon is getting siphoned to t5 and it has 2k inventory of silicon and that will continue to take silicon until its full meaning the first factories will never make a unit unless its full. Usually most of the time the unit will be up to t3 and it goes t4 and it will upgrade because it doesn't have enough silicon in its storage and the silicon instead just goes to t5 and not make the unit untill its full. This is why I prefer just distributing them evenly.
This design actually works for the silicon crucible as well, provided you switch the bridge conveyer for sand with a phase conveyer since phase conveyer have a much higher throughput. You'd also need to use plastanium conveyer to deliver the sand.
Can you make 6 impacts schem with those following inputs: sand, lead, coal, titanium and water?
Sand, lead, coal to make pyratites
Water to make spores (spore + pyratite -> blast compound)
Water and titanium to make cryo.
My design was 4 pyratites mixers, 7 cultivators, 4 blast compound mixers so enough to provide 6 impacts but i messed up the cryo design and stuck at there.
aight mate you can actually run 7 impacts with what you have as far as blast goes, you'll need 6 sand/s, 6 lead/s, 3 coal/s, 4.5 titanium/s, ~190 water/s, using 9 cryo makers and roughly 20x10,500 power/s to jumpstart the thing,5 big batteries full should do the trick, provided you can power all other related buildings already. 4 blast compound mixer indeed can provide 7 impacts but barely, so there is a chance one impact will be shut down, and at the beginning only need one first impact to produce power then build the second one using the power from the first impact to start, then the third,... So on
My design is 6 impact so require 8 cryo mixer, but seem like bridge conduit is bad so not all the cryo provide for all impacts
My factories and buildings don’t have the little green and red light diamond shape indicators that they are functioning. Is that a setting or mod?

@@hthemaster1 i use not compact but efficient builds and it works just as good. I jumped onto mindustry and made semi compact factory just as good without any need for silicon. My best fsctory is capabke of spewing out 2x20 sil on second. With just 2 drills on sand and a lead supply... big but you only need one to be honest. 2x20 because it has 2 outputs(whe i build one it was cloging the output...). It is as sad as the fact how underused are some ways of making energy just because how much space they would need.
Mindustry is just late-stage waiting to die with extra steps.

You can use the coal smelter energy source to burn pyratite, it does 90 power for 1 pyratite wich is good
