- Erekir Preview part 1:
I couldn't get the tier 4-5 purple units on stage 2 to work properly with logic; they kept refusing to turn towards the target while hitting the map boundary or back pedalling. Their rotation locked up when moving. Probably a game mechanic I couldn't do anything about.
Didn't want to control them manually because I only intended on having logic controlled units fight.

Since serpulo and erekir units is in different planet, they are not intended to have a balanced power. If erekir units is stronger, then erekir towers and defense is stronger too
True i agreed and also i think anuke try to make erekir combat system more strategic and tactical skill based bcuz most of the unit is more agile and their attack is way more unique

Anything in erekir is generally stronger than serpulo. You can't say that a planet is stronger than another one, since they're made to be played separately

This should be normal since E-re-kheer Content should work at extremely high temperatures meaning they have replaced most of that armor with heat resisting material
Probably used aerogel or something like that, it's a great heat insulator

Collaris is a strategical unit, (Spider Tier 5 in erekir) It has a high mobility, Pierce and burst fire to give itself the advantage of both outranging and mobility, You can't escape it, Nor can you run away from it. You can only watch as you are being outranged and eradicated by "Collaris" that is why in the toxopid vs collaris fight, I find it 'Misleading' as there is a unit control RTS system in Erekir which enables you to control where your units go instead of just watching them mindlessly rush to enemy core.
Also in the Stage 3's T4 fight, The erekir tank didn't even tried shooting it's main cannon once. and that is why and how scepter won.
This is a quickfire brawl between units

Also something that not a lot of people point out is that Serpulo units are mostly not that optimised for direct combat, unit to unit fights on serpulo are sorta rare, erekir on the other hand is different.
For instance toxopid is meant to walk over defenses and destroy critical infrastructure, vela and corvus and most of the nova family are meant to assist other units and especially shoot down defenses through walls, so i think erekir is just stronger for this because they're meant to destroy other units, while serpulo ones aren't

While Erekir unit are for direct warfare with the enemy unit
In fact, Erekir units have some kind of special balance between themselves, but not between them and Serpulo unit. Erekir units are just not created for Serpulo
Erekir units have been created to work in extreme temperatures, erekir is so hot water evaporates instantly, they used more insulation and tougher materials to build units, which also means they need better weapons to attack them
also why some turrets dont use those special property ammo like homing silicon bc the ammo cannot withstand erekir's temperature

Problem is that erekir has more advanced AI (rts) so it might not be a perfectly fair fight. Also I feel bad for the crawler and horizon.

install Erekir extended and Sapphirium mods, however ... and it becomes flexible! alternative energy sources and, why not mentioning ... an aerial support unit capable of repairing your buildings (resource mining currently in progress, however!) and it can be quickly built

So to summarize:
Serpulo's units are more tanky That's all ;-;
Meanwhile Erekirs units are more advanced and rely on the high damage to compensate for the low health (and they are smart)
i think anuke try to make the combat system more tactical and strategic skill based bcuz their attack is way more unique
they also have way more health

The serpulo spooders are soo good in rushing to the core that you don't see the toxopide coomonly on the campaing.

I just realised that Vanquish's main cannon didn't shoot, and Scepter's mini back turrets didn't shoot either
So yeah
We should probably pit one team (with Serpulo content only) against another team (with Erekir content only) and see who could win in a human PvP condition.
Notably, each team will have typical access to their respective materials to prevent early stalemates, and more valuable materials for each team will be put closer to their respective enemy team.

@@theye29 the range tower, scathe, is the first endgame turret and is extremely expensive. as it is a race against time, the scathe will not even be built because the match will end way earlier.

Still lose to toxopid. It's frag bullet does not turn back, so toxopid can still get close. As long as toxopid has more than half of it's hp left, collaris is dead.
These are actually pre-buff Erekir units, the end product for Erekir units is a lot stronger than one in this video

i see alot of people saying "erekir is op" and stuff as such, while that deffinietly being true most of erekir unit stat isnt that high, its true in a real fight they deffinietly could beat most of serpulo units but i think i see what theyre trying to do here, i think what anuke wants is to make the combat more tactical instead of just brute force, thats why most of the t5 have less stat but is way more agile and have a more unique attack, plus erekir turret is VERY op, i think erekir unit is designed to strategically defeat them and since theyre in diffrent planet serpulo unit isnt itended to fight erekir unit
Yea, Anuke say both planet aren't balance each other, and never intended to meet. Still, if you force them to a pvp match, Erekir will lose helplessly.
Toxopoids: ngl they got us in the first half
Too be honest erekir units are mostly just more advanced and smarter, it's why the lower tier ones either run to avoid damage or mostly just kill the serpulo units with ease, but when it comes to the high tier ones serpulo destroys the soul out of most erekir's high tier units. High tier Dagger unit beats the strongest **tank** unit in the game.
Erekir's units die easily because of the amount of damage the units of serpulo.
But I think the reason why erekir's units are just weaker is because their armor is probably just heat resistant stuff since their from a planet that is hot.
It's because their AI was garbage 5 months ago.

It would've been cool if Tanks had a specified (Siege Mode) where whenever they fired while not having moved for 2 seconds they would fire a super powerful splash sniper attack instead of the normal one.

I think at 2:40 it's not a bug but rather the unit's playstyle, it outranges and keeps shooting, but once it starts getting damaged it will try to run away to range again or to the core. That's my theory at least

It uses vanilla world processors, but the mod "testing-utilities" can be used to spawn units
