Very happy with my FRA600. I pulled the trigger when Agena Astro had a handful in stock a few weeks ago. I love the flexibility of the adapter design. The promotional material doesn't mention it, but the included adapter does support M68 (in addition to M48 and M54). If you're using a newer APS-C or Full-Frame ZWO camera (2400, 2600, or 6200), you can directly connect an M68 OAG telescope side (with M68 tilt plate for an additional 5mm distance). This leaves a lot of play for the prism stalk, eliminating any obstruction you'd get with smaller adapters.

Truly fantastic scope. Any plans to release an Askar FRA version of the Sharpstar121SDQ? I'm thinking on buying a 120mm petzval refractor, but I was curious to see if the Sharpstar 121SDQ, which is already a top notch telescope, would make into an updated version in the Askar lineup. Askar FRA600 is a Quintuplet Petzva design. The back focus is 160mm, starting from the joint of rotator and M90×1 thread to the focal plane (click the link above to visit our official website, you could have more mechanical structure diagram). Besides, you don't need worry about the back focus stuff on this FRA600, as long as the object is adjusted to be focused, unless you add a reducer or something alike.
Can you post pictures when you get a chance to test it, I'm considering buying it, and would love to see some sample images. Did you get the reducer as well?

@@jamesr7583 Actually we just say ED elements regardless of its sub-categories. So in our videos or website, we usually provide the number of elements we use and whether it's ED elements or not.
If it takes 5 different elements in an attempt to correct color fringing and field curvature. I’d rather spend money on a good figured doublets or triplets apo.
The recommended retail price is 2599 in US dollars, and since the current exchange rate is 1.31 AUD per USD, so the retail price is around 3405 AUD. :D
@@sharpstaroptics1440 Factor in the GST at 10% then importer's and retailer's markup and it's around $5000 aud way more expensive than what you suggest. It's not worth buying for that money unfortunately
