Askar Focal Plane Adjuster Promotion Video
The Askar focal plane adjuster helps make precise adjustments to the tilt of the focuser or camera sensor, improving image quality.
It uses a unique spherical adjustment design. This method adjusts the tilt angle without affecting the relative distance, ensuring more accurate and consistent adjustments.
The front thread is a female M54 and the rear thread is a male M48.

You can pre-order from Agena Astro. I have to say Askar is really coming up with some nice stuff. Check out their AQS55 scope. Cuiv did a great vid on the scope and rated it above the Redcat scope

I just got one and indeed is a great scope. The only issue I have is regarding the space between the scope and the dovetail mounting plate (the same issue mentioned in several reviews of the 71F). In my case after I mounted an electronic autofocuser (EAF) on the scope the dovetail plate cannot be moved to balance the scope on the mount. The solution of course is to install a pair of raiser blocks but I am having a hard time finding them in the appropriate size. I just got one and indeed is a great scope. Outstanding, won't be cheap but I'm moving away from SCT's and the corrector is built in which is a big plus. Center obstruction much less than RC and is 5 times faster. Carbon tube will probably increase the price by $300 at least. Not really needed for open tube design.
I'm curious to understand why the move was made to aluminum instead of the carbon fiber of the original models. Also, anyone from SharpStar want to come over and tune my 15028HNT so I can actually get a flat frame with good stars corner to corner using a Poseidon-M (IMX571), 36mm EFW and OAG? Had that scope for over a year and have yet to get it to give me good quality stars across the frame. PS, I'm certainly open to testing this new aluminum 130 if you're looking for interested objective third party opinions :)

How can I use the reducer and ALSO use a 2" filter with a larger camera like the ASI2600MC? Do I need a separate adapter / drawer? Installing the reducer removed the 71F's adapter for the drawer, as it was too small to connect to the camera threads.

This is what I have waited for. I earlier planned to get a 50mm ED APO but suddenly a such model was discontinued and was not possible to find during some year. If this scope gives good color correction up to 80-100x it would be awesome!

I've attached the EAF to the Askar APO 120 and found that the EAF doesn't have enough power to operate at the required load. It has a stated 5kg max load but the 120 is itself more than that. Attaching it was easy with the bracket that came in the box.
ED51 or ED53 glass? Nobody seems to be able to tell me. This matters once you get into these focal lengths and prices. Get rid of background music. Very hard to understand. Are you considering carbon fibre? Most of us are getting older.
We all refer them as ED glasses.☺ ED glass is currently used in the market, and you can rest assured of its quality. Thank you for your suggestion, we will take it into consideration.

0.7x reducer?
It's already reduced, I doubt that you can make a FF coverage astro lens that fast (f3.4) without compromising (color) correction parameters, spot size etc.
