In my mind, there’s absolutely no other guitar that can beat a good tele. The design, dependability, sound, functionality, ability to make adjustments/fix. I’ve got all of the other classic fender models and play/study them extensively and to be honest, they are all just teles with added stuff on them that I could take or leave. This is a really good example Michael is playing.
If we are honest with our self's,all you need is a tele and a amp with reverb to make a lot of great music.Oh,and to steal a phrase"talent on loan from god".The magic is the space's between the notes. Thanks Michael.
My Uncle plays this same guitar. He loves it. Funny thing he’s also a big Frank Stallone fan. I’ll have to send him this video, and let him knows Frank loves Norms. Hopefully he’ll be back to visit soon.
I purchased one just when they came out. It arrived, looked great felt ok. I'm not a huge fan of the neck. The pickups individually, neck and bridge sounded amazing, however when I combined them in the middle position it dropped in volume and the tone became very thin and wimpy. I took it to my repair guy and he did something in the wiring so that middle position sounded more balanced than it did before, but then both pickups were much less robust than they had been before. So, I'm not sure what Fender did at the factory, but I was extremely unhappy with it. Still am. I'm hanging. on to it for now because I bought it brand new and know I'll take a huge hit if I sell now.
Tele classic design different sound pallete to a strat these reissue are great at the price a slice of vintage 4 a wider audience than the original. An essential part of a rig, to get certain sounds and feel this1 a bit zep esque. the Cat (wnt.)
What about a handmade tele from the 60s yeah super rare and sounds like a true American fender 60s tele ??? Probably not huh I won't sell it ever even. For a real vintage fender lol just curious but I know that it isn't on market so therefore $0 lol
Will somebody please, please, please tell Lemmo that not everybody only uses the back pickup with overdrive, and some of us would like to hear what it sounds like clean. After listening to all that noodling in the other two positions, I think we deserve to hear what that bridge pickup actually sounds like, even for just a little while before you go all psychedelic and whatnot.
How lucky are we to have Lemmo, Jenn and Norm? Prayers they stay with us forever......
That was NOT Jen on camera

In this world of change and chaos, it is small comfort indeed! :) The combo of this Tele and Super Reverb is particularly sweet

Am I hearing a bit of Ten Years Gone at the start? ah probably not. just me
Put the reverb or distorsion on any guitar ...through that amp it Will sound the same ...guitars must be tested without any fx
He doesn't usually play with a ton of distortion.
