why can't we do vertical zoom with Mousewheel+Key? all the other daws have this function and i'm giving up on migrating to cubase because it doesnt have. it slows the worlkflow a lot :(
Please tell me, does Cubase Artist 12 include all the features that Cubase Elements 12 has, or is Cubase Elements 12 a separate platform with separate features?
I recorded a song the other day went perfect but then it recorded another 1 min past my song of just the vinyl effect anyway to trim that or set end point in song I used the bar ya loop 🔁 with but it recorded past the end point I set was super annoying do you have to turn fx off after recording fast to prevent it picking up the vinyl?

I don´t know if i can get some help here.
Using Cubase 12 Elements.
I want to record a second midi track with an vst on it.
BUT, the first track does not give any sound .
I press the little speaker symbol on it and it gives sound.
BUT now the first vst plays the same notes I am playing for the second track AND the notes I already recordet.
Using it on Win10 latest update and a Digidesign Mbox2
Steinberg support does not respond.
It works out also with Cubase Pro,right ?
Dom i need your help, i've bought cubase elements to go with my montage 7, i've loaded the midi driver 1,2,3 BUT the notes don't all play and the sustain pedal doesn't always work. why isin't it working ???? HELP
i think i will give elemets a go as soon as i can .... i am tired of studio one : it keeps crashing in the last days and all i did was recording a rock song which mostly is guitar and bass made out of the guiat tunes done with a strat. can you tell me how is the stability ? and do i get updates by steinberg ? i want a German Product and Steinberg is one. Please tell me and others who have simliar issues : does it recognise oriental tunes as such when quantized ? presonus keeps on quantizing them false and that what you get is...well even my cat got distrubed 🤣thanks alot in forward , you got one mo sub

I need a little help. I have a question. I have Cubase 5.
When I double click on my track with drums only , that's when my window opens, and I see percussion instruments here. Now I have a question for you: I need to mark, for example, a snare drum
(but all his beats) until the end of the song, and now this snare selected with the mouse how to move higher or lower to change the snare to another instrument, for example kick drum.
I am currently doing it (one by one)!!! But it is very time consuming!!! Do you know any way to move all these (small squares) up or down at once???
My point is not to move each small square separately.
Just to move (all) the selected squares.

Major problem with sound as nothing said about ASIO driver being needed to be downloaded or not as Ableton tells you
How do you make playhead go to 0 when you hit stop twice??
Hi. I got a question. I use OB-xd as a VST. I got three midi track and when my track go back to the beginning the sound change. Cubase doesn't keep the sound i choose. You know why. After choosing my sound is there a move i got to do to tell Cubase (this is the sound that i choose) Thanks.
When using a VST you should use an instrument track and not a MIDI track.

Since day 1 it won't play any sound or allow me to use instruments in cuebase. I did all the instructions and it still doesn't allow me access anything. Just only view it.

I can't fix the output, no sounds came out
Why don't I have the sampler track?
Confusing. None of this came up on the trial. All i got were multiples of windows, different windows to activate etc - all the stuff a techy alone would have spent a lot of time thinking about in their head, and only for their head alone.
Once you manage to create a project you can use the 4 icons at the top right of the screen to hide and show the different 'windows' so you can just see your tracks if you want. I just got the trial a few days ago and it was very confusing at first but a few videos like this really helped me work out how it works. Still much to learn...

Those guitar amps are old like 10 years, can't hear any upgrade from it, sounds the same like in 2013. Steinberg please work on it!
The Mesa model is still excellent. No reason to change it.

Cubase Elements 13.5 should accept VariAudio "Elements" in the near future...
Except it’s not that easy when the First cubase screen I have is similar to the one you have there…doesn’t have the create button anywhere 🤪

the camera moved to your face for some reason righty when we needed to be seeing the computer screen. lol why is your face even in this video at all? the camera should be locked on your computer screen so we don't miss you hitting a button, this is supposed a tutorial right

Let me guess. You don't have the time or patience to read the manual and actually learn something. You're the kind of person who expects to be able to run before you've learned to walk.
