Here's a product review video w/ a back to back demo of some new "alt material" bass drum beaters from Dragonfly Percussion. These beaters offer drummers a way to truly sculpt their bass drum sound to for a recording or performance that goes beyond the standard hard plastic/hard felt beater. Really giving the drummer a chance to create something magical for their sound. In this vid I discuss the 2 2 new additions to the Dragonfly Bass Drum Beater Line. For the leather side these beaters offer incredibly articulate punch, and power while giving you a warm attack. The Hard Leather (which I absolutely LOVE!) is full power, while the Suede seems to take it down just a notch. Both are amazing as you will hear.
For the flannel side, these beaters offer are fully articulate, but with a soft, warm, attack and tone. Perfect for jazz gigs, restaurant gigs, or smaller church services. The XL is simply for when you want a bit more boom in your tone. Thank you for watching.
