Suuuuper into the wool sound. I’d really like to hear these on something other than an EMAD head. It’s so dull and dead anyway, it seems like it really levels out the EQ across the board instead of hearing the versatility of a more open head like a clear P3.

Thank you for the recommendation on the impact patch. My felt beaters got worn out. I ended up going with the lightweight leather beaters this time around because I'm back to doing a lot of fast double bass work these days. This helped me pick out which model I wanted this time.

just buy the heavy and chop the end off to get your desired weight. easy :)....
