    DESCRIPTION:
    Artboards are a relatively new feature to Photoshop, but they are amazing! They allow you to have multiple versions of your Photoshop document right within the same PSD. All the layers remain, you still work within each artboard just like any other Photoshop document or feature. It's great! You can layout graphical presentations, smartphone UI graphic kits, multiple versions of a graphic layout or website, or really anything your heart desires! Check this out!

    How did it take me 10 years to discover artboards?

    Excellent! Your brief video is exactly what I was hoping for: A super quick overview of how to do the basics. This is the first video of yours that I've watched, and based on what's here, I definitely plan to watch more. I'm now a subscriber. Thank you!

      Currently using Zeplin & the Invision App instead of Dreamweaver ;
      Also wanna try Sketch with VMWare on windows 7 &
      Project Comet.
      - Adobe XD will be interesting
      When moving Artboards in Adobe CS6 the background layer moves on top of the other ones; that;s a bug
      Also, exporting two layers with difference as the blend mode for one of them results in a different displayed jpeg opposed to exporting it via legacy PSD, without using the artboard canvas setup

    Hi, is there a way to have an instance of an Artboard in a smaller size, just to skip the step of duplicating and resizing what was done on the first bigger Artboard?

    What would you use an artboard for?

    • @tutvid
      @tutvid  8 років тому

      +Mr Jee I like to think of it as a mini-Photoshop document within your actual Photoshop document. You can duplicate them very easily and with Smart Objects, you can edit multiple artboards all at once.

      @sapnasandhu759 8 років тому

      +tutvid but people here are not for looking how speed your can run.. they are here on tutorial channel to know what and how exactly the path is to follow to learn and improve more better. yes i know people too upload anything rubbish for getting money. this is all way to earn '' logo ka samay barbad ka rke haram ka paisa ka paisa kamana ''

    • @tutvid
      @tutvid  8 років тому +4

      +iishika sandhu speed is how I work. If it helps some people great. Maybe it's just not for everyone. I've always done my tutorials fast and that's probably how I'll keep doing them. Thanks for the comment though!
