Song by Al Di Meola
Al Di Meola (Guitars & Syths)
Gumbi Ortiz (Percussion)
Mario Parmisano (Acoustic Piano & Synths)
Ernie Adams (Drums)
Al di meola is one of the most unique and outstanding guitarist of the world!!
This song is sooooo much better when the guitar trio is playing
When the trio plays it, it’s just hauntingly beautiful.
Every artist is something unique in his own style. Each one of them has something different
whether they are gifted or hypertrained
Al Di Meola, Eric Johnson, Shawn Lane!!! Those amazing sounds that these guys can/could produce
Great video!! , i brought myself a copy on DVD from rockonvidtrade super cool!!
Nagyon-nagyon-nagyon jó! Al Di Meola nagyszerű gitáros!
Goosebumps!
WHAT A GIFTED HUMAN!!! WHAT A WONDERFUL GOD SEND!!! VIVA!!!
I have this on DVD, why am i watching it on youtube? it's freakin awesome!
This is a song of Astor Piazzola, argentinian musician of tango
and i guess i would too if i got to play with al
Amen!!
simplemente exquisito
Your right of course.
By ''...coming from.'' I mean DiMeola's musical influences.
big musican ,w di meola
i have a vg88, and always thought the "octave24" preset was useless.......now i see al in all these vids. ill mess around with it some more
Al di meola recognized some influence of Piazzola's music in his work
Najbolje od di meole....minimalistički savršeno
Proximo 26 de Mayo nos vemos en Bilbao sala BBK...ESTARE EN FILA 8 ASIENTO 2
i jao !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Holnapután jön vidorra nyíregyre:D
@pavlentiy91 Для Вас - да. Но у него просто опыт слушания и слышания больше. Он да и его поклонники, слышат то, что для Вас пока что слишком сложно. Слушайте - и откроется)))
Is there a full concert video of this anywhere for purchase?
@nochocplease bring it on, smrat guy
@nochocplease not to forget allan holdsworth...
what's baffling to me is how he can remember the uneven timings between strums picks and chord changes, even if he wrote it
He did an interview with Rick Beato where he somewhat describes how. He spoke about how his tecqnique naturally lends itsself to the rhythm that he keep in songs like this and his cover of Norwegian Wood
I love Ovation guitars but how in the world does Al play them like he does with no strap?
You are wrong tinchorocker. Orient Blue is from the album World Sinfonia. Meola composed this music. See allmusic(dot)com ...
@JimmyMoorby wast wrong with that i do it all the time
Someone please - what is the main chord sequence?
Used to read people racing on who's the best guitarist among Metheny,Di Meola, Scofield,Mc Laughlin,De Lucia ,etc...I'd like you to see that best and worse is totally out of the point. Is not a race, neither a football game with scores
@nochocplease haha if only i could beleive that..
I think he's still in the 80's
It really does look like the drummer is drumming his balls at one point lol
yes, I wrong... sorry
What?
@chignutsak
There's nothing wrong with criticism. I find righteous indignation much more annoying, actually.
I think Al should use much less MIDI triggering. It sounds rather cheesy at times.
to the shagoff that thinks tommy e..makes Al look ordinary??? you obviuously do NOT play guitar...although I agree...Tommy E is ..the best period...all is in a zone all his own....
Al shouldn't be using the synth on this piece.
Not fair to write and indeed not right.
Al Di Meola maybe an artist you cannot understand.
He comes from a 'transitional' musical experience.
Know your modern musical history.
Start with the 'Mahavishnu Orchestra' and then move into 'Shakti'. Then you might begin to come to learn where maestro Al Di is coming from.
i hate the effect he's using
не понимаю, что здесь красивого? набор звуков
Al is pretty good but Tommy Emmanuel makes him look quite ordinary.
I think he's still in the 80's
