  • I stayed two nights at the Hyatt Regency located in the Orlando International Airport. One night in a king room with a view of the airport atrium, and a second night looking at the Eastern runways (video of airplane watching posted separately, btw).

    Thanks for posting the full room view including the visual alarms I usually always have a panic attack if I go into a hotel and see visual alarms in the rooms because they never show it on the webpage but since I’m prepared and know what to expect I think I can stay at the airport for one night before my 4 day Disney cruise in a few weeks .

    Love the footage ! I’ve always wondered how this looked. Still a little scared to stay in an airport hotel, but it is a good option

      Thank you! I like to stay at an airport hotel after a long international flight to reset onto local time. I usually build in a day so I can sleep in a real bed before heading home the next day...really helps me get over the jet lag sooner.

    Great video. Is the roof swimming pool heated?

      Honestly I don't know. It was 90 during this visit, so heated wasn't a priority...I suspect it is heated during the winter, but you'd have to check with the hotel.

    Did you ever inquire from the staff as to why the balcony is locked when the outdoor facing balconies are not locked?

    • @TrizityTraveling
      @TrizityTraveling  Рік тому

      I did, I was told the indoor balcony was locked for "security reasons"...

      @@TrizityTraveling I actually did some research on other videos as well. Apparently a TSA officer jumped to his death from the balcony into the atrium upon all those onlookers. And I googled it and it was true.

      I do. Nice outdoor pool, restaurant on site (as well as many more in the terminal). Good place to recharge and easy to get on an early morning flight!

    What's up with those 'antlers' sticking up on both sides of the bed?

    Is staying there free for everyone?

      @TrizityTraveling  Рік тому

      Unfortunately, it is not free. They operate it just like a regular hotel...
