Ik what u mean. It's been that way since 1998 or 99 when I started to listen it, and was so proud NW was from Finland just like me. LOLOL
When Floor joined ,Nightwish became next level.
I discovered NW early last year with Floor through the Wacken concert and would not have become a fan of them before Floor.

Brought back? Yeah. Next level? Mmmm... no. Tarja was the first one I’ve heard, and all Floor did was come close to what she has done. I won’t say neither one is better than the other because they’re both good and have different styles. So I won’t go there saying Floor brought this band to a whole new level because I believe she has not done that. The entire band has to do just that, and Floor has helped.
Oh stop already.
I can even imagine when you listen to songs like Dead Boys Poem, Shoemaker, How's the heart, Poet and the Pendulum... Your minds will blow...

@@whiteley-ke4gh "Greatest Song" is rather an opus than a song...take your time for that. Dead Boys Poem (as Tuomas isn't that boy anymore) is a real ballad, like Sleeping Sun. How's the Heart will be first played live at their virtual concert, yet the accoustic one with Troy on guitar and her only, is the one that gave me chills, Shoemaker has a killer finale, so Tuomas wife needed to fill in, probably to give Floor some time for her assault on the highest notes she ever hit with Nightwish. Last but not least "The Poet and the Pendulum" (live from Wembley), which made it onto my podium of all Nightwish songs maybe even filling the very top step. It seemed to correlate with my mood back then, when I needed to listen to it 20 times in a row after my first hearing!

Alright, KUDOS TO THE MISSES!!! She identified Floor's growl THE FIRST TIME SHE HEARD IT! I've been wathcing A LOT of reaction to this song and only one other (a vocal coach) could identify it properly, and only after rewind it two times. Great reaction as always, btw, from both of you!

Sarahesque songs: Sleeping sun -ballad. Do double reaction, first End of an Era concert with Tarja and then Tampere version with Floor. AND Creek Mary's Blood from End of an Era. The flutist caused some controversy for not being Native Indian enough, but he is an excellent flutist. The beauty of these songs will blow Sarah's socks off.
When you see this song you again realize how much Marco will be so missed.

You really need to try...... Master Passion Greed.....NightWish at their hardest
This!! Their heaviest song by far from angry Tuomas. And talking about vulgar language, this song is probably their only one with f-bomb.
One caveat, since Tom commented about Nightwish not using foul language - Master Passion Greed is a rage track directed at Tarja's husband, and it does contain the one and only F-bomb Tuomas included in song lyrics. By all means give it a listen, just be aware and make sure the little ones aren't around when you do.
You guys need to react to Everdream and Storytime from this concert as well!! I think Sarah will enjoy these two songs.

When I discovered Nightwish a year ago, I plowed through their discography and all concerts in two weeks. I cannot imagine the amount of restrain I would need, if I were a reactor!
So Marko, may he please return to Nightwish! (Hallowed be thy name!, RIGHT!) He sang the entire demo of "The Poet and the Pendulum", including the boy soprano part! THE WHOLE SONG! Slightly different lyrics, sure, it is the demo after all... But, mostly the same! What a great way to showcase his amazing vocal skills!

Also, I know you still have a lot of videos to go through. That being said, I should give you a heads up on the live videos uploaded via DvD or Blue ray that have faulted on the bitrate transfer and finalized either too slow or too fast on UA-cam. So, please when you do your Nightwish reactions, make sure you're videos were uploaded by "Nuclear Blast Records" or "Nightwish" if at all possible, if only to avoid a false introduction to a video.
A vocal coach recently reacted to "I Want My Tears Back" Buenos Aires 2018 and I couldn't even watch the whole thing because the video she was reacting to was just too fast. I actually felt bad! Like she was cheated out of what would otherwise have been an absolutely awesome experience.

I find it easier to answer the question, "what is your favorite Nightwish song" with, YES. I use to have favorites when I first started listening. But, like many people each new song became a favorite. So now, every one is my favorite, or the one I am listening to now.

Great to hear more from Sarah (no disrespect Tom😉) - she's got an eye for detail. Over the years I hadn't really been interested in lyrics and their meaning - but with Nightwish I think it's very desirable - you go into a song fully prepared and it has more of an emotional effect on you, ( so many people are in tears as a result - especially to Poet and the Pendulum)! If you're going to double up with The Greatest Show on Earth - even more so, especially at the end - very overwhelming! Looking forward to it.

Sarah is now officially the goat !! She caught Floor’s growls 😂 My wife is a singer and when we got this DVD years back she didn’t catch it but I stopped the DVD and was like “Did she just growl?” 😂 We saw them about 9 months earlier at House of Blues in Orlando and Floor had only replaced Annette 14 days earlier . She did not growl on this song at that show. She still crushed the show but she wasn’t as familiar with the songs yet and was still working on putting her stamp on them.

I would love to see you guys react to something from their Wishes to Eternity concert with Tarja back in 2000. This was before Marco had joined the band and they still had Sammi. They were all so young and the sound is amazing. Elvenpath and Fantasmic are really great ones to listen to if you check out that concert!
