Studying Pan Making in Trinidad, 1994

These are some clips from my visit to Trinidad in 1993/94. At that time I was living in South Africa, and had been dreaming of a visit to Trinidad for 10 years or more.
When I did finally make it to the island, I stayed for about 6 months and spent the majority of my time working at a Panyard operated by Keith St Louis. This video shows some of the people, activities and tools in the yard.
The footage was filmed in February 1994, towards the end of my visit, by Andrew Tracey. Andrew is the real "father of pan" in South Africa, and had come to Trinidad to experience Panorama.
