Kyle, this figure is from the Danger Room sub-line and that extra piece is a robotic vice Danger Room obstacle and stands vertical. Great review by the way and an incredible Colossus figure.
i bought this Colossus figure specifically to put on my X-Men shelf. i just felt he paired best with his overall size. and i also kinda like mixing my marvel legends w/ marvel select figures.
I have Colossus, jaggernot and sabrotooh from marvel select and for me they look more accurate than marvel legends, thanks for the review, see you later.
I pre ordered this last week from BBTS. Walked into my local comic shop yesterday and they had just received one Colossus. So I went local. Also picked up Juggernaut and Immortal Hulk. These guys will be my mainstays for my Marvel figs. I think/hope for the long haul. Looking forward to Sabretooth on his way in the mail. The Marvel Select line seems to shine with the brutes. Reeealy wonky face sculpts on the rest I feel. As far as Colossus goes the only real fail was not giving us some open hands. I was hoping to display him with something or someone in his grasp. Oh well. Only way I see replacing him is If I see a vac metal style.
You have the slightly retooled 2019 reissue, widened legs and arms by just a tiny bit you wouldnt even notice if you dont have the 2011-2012 first release.I forgot about the tiny reduction of pouty lips too.
I bought it specifically for my legends figures , fits perfect in scale . I do believe legends downsize their bigger figures to save on costs so it's like the select tries to make up for it when they can
Dang over half the video by the time you actually get colossus out the pack. Hoped you would go into closer detail on the articulation and what it can and can't do like how "D amazing" does with his figure reviews. Closer shots would be nice too. A lot of "I like this figure" but was hoping for more. If it's not "statuesque" show more of why. Not a bad video. Not trying to bash or anything like that. Thanks for the vid though. Need a colossus for the collection. Most of my figs are Kaiyodo and Mafex. Explains why I'm so hung up on the lack of articulation displayed.
@@KylePeterson1980 yeah I know. Everyone does it different. Like I said I'm not trying to bash you. You got decent vids and Everyone is different. Keep up the good work my dude
I picked up this Colossus a few months ago and have no regrets. Probably my favorite in the Marvel Select line.
One of the best Marvel select figurs, for my opinion.👌I sold my, but perhaps, i will buy me a new on.

When I saw the thumbnail I thought it was Captain Planet for a second 😂 but it is a great fig, really sick looking colossus 🤘

How well does he scale with the other figures?
I think he scales great
Awesome figure! I just pre-order mine. Can’t wait to get it! I chose the marvel select colossus and juggernaut over the marvel legends ones!
Totally agreed

I had no idea there were any changes. Now I'm wanting tires bring mine into the comic shop here and compare them, as they have one of the reissues.
