    Austria is completely wrong.
The Erlking or Erlkönig is not a mythical spirit from Austria at all.
It's from a famous ballad by Goethe, who was, in fact, German. He got inspired by the Ellerkonge (Elven king), a being from Danish/ Old Norse legend.
If you wanted a mythical Austrian creature, try the Krampus.
And what the heck is that Swiss thing supposed to be?
My girlfriend is from Switzerland and has no idea what that is.
Chüebüechli makes, according to her, no sense as a word. I would mean cow-book.
    Which is completely nonsense.

In Iceland, the huldufólk (hidden elf-like creatures) aren't monsters, but rather benign supernatural beings. Trolls and various sea monsters are the malevolent creatures of lore. Even the Yule Lads and the Yule Cat are more threatening than the elves. There's also a Loch Ness-like lake creature called Lagarfljót.

Mythical creature for Lithuania is not accurate as, to my knowledge, 'Vilkacis' is Latvian word for werewolf. I know, it's a common mistake to mix two Baltic sisters Latvia and Lithuania. In Lithuanian language this werewolf creature is cold 'vilkolakis'. This name is made out of two words - vilkas (wolf) and lakioti (run around). So 'vilkolakis' literally describes someone who runs with the wolfs or runs like a wolf. Greetings to all the Latvians if you are reading my comment ;)

I'm from Belgium and I don't know anything about De witte wieven. I should because the word wieven is local dialect from the specific place I live in for woman or vrouw in the rest of the Dutchspeaking part of the country. I was expecting de boeman or boogyman in American mythology but it originates from my country. An evil manlike creature who takes naughty children away from their parents my grandmother told me. I was terrified of de boeman when I was a child every time I did something wrong.
My second guess was de bokkerijders. Thieves and rapists that ride de backs of male goats through the skies and they burn and loot everything. There is historical proof of the bokkerijders .They did exist but did not fly in the sky selfevident. They just were specialised in robbing multiple spots at the same time so people in the 18th century believed they could fly (on the back of a male goat) because they just didn't understand how this organised gang did it.

The mapanare is not mythical. Bothrops Atrox is abundant in the region. Its venom is a hemotoxin, meaning that whatever it bites will necrotize, leading to high-octane nightmare fuel images, body horror and a painful death.

The aye aye is a real creature as well, though not dangerous, just creepy looking. Although I'd probably prefer real creatures with a mythical folklore over 35 versions of Djinn.

I would have went with the Skin Walker for USA or at least have given bigfoot his proper SASQUATCH name.

Skinwalker is a great one tbh! But as a whole it is less known than bigfoot or sasquatch

Why do we act like dragons are mythical. I don’t find it difficult to believe they existed…. Humans just killed off everything that posed a threat (or didn’t… we just like to destroy stuff apparently)

The Manticore that you depicted for Iraq is actually an Iranian mythical creature not Iraqi. So is Chamrosh , Simurgh, and Jinn all Iranian Mythical creatures.
