The names you gave them are awesome. However, since Baek Do San is located in North Korea, Dire Wolf of Baek Do San in the name of South Korea's final boss seems inappropriate. What about Dire Wolf of Taebaek instead? Taebaek is the name of the largest mountain range on the Korean Peninsula and and it is located in both South and North Korea. And the Taebaek Mountains can give a mythical feeling because they are one of the mountain ranges with an unknown process of creation. I used a translator, so I would appreciate it if you could let me know if there is an error in my sentences.
The Bible says that that there is a principality assigned to every nation. And that they do war with each other. Book of Daniel mentions an angel that was delayed and held up by the principality that ruled over the territory of Greece. The angel could not pass through and get to Daniel with a message until Archangel Michael assisted him.
They're called territorial spirits. Some "own" cities, towns, villages, states. Others countries, worlds, planets, galaxies. There's a hierarchy and they fight a lot. Humans fight some of their wars by proxy. Have you ever hated a country or group without ever having been there or personally know the group? The territorial spirit and yours are at war.
It's interesting how many of these turned out as one of four basic premises - leonine, draconic, aquiline, or vaguely humanoid (including undead). It's also odd that while taking some degree of inspiration from the country in question there's no mythological representation (ie. most of the Asian nations aren't represented by dragons, Egypt wasn't represented by one of their gods, Mexico wasn't represented by a jaguar-esque creature or a Quetzalcoatl, etc.)
True, especially when in Poland case AI pulled some demonic monstrosity which isn't present in Polish folklore*. Same goes for India which was large human and not one of their deities. There are devils Boruta and Rokita in Poland folklore, but both of them are more of a intellectual (contract masters) monsters than an abominations or muscle-brains giants. Also there is no link to witches, spirits (good/bad) and warlocks! Still, a very interesting result, and with that I agree.
Yeah so it's either because the prompt entered was short and disconnected from country culture, or because the AI is actually straight up stupid..... Or both.
Indian one clearly does have mythological representation - the villain looks identical to the asuras like Ravana. BTW, India has no connection with dragons.
I mean, considering how every bit of wildlife in that place is effectively a miniboss the actual final boss can't be too absurd or else the Australia level would be too unfun to fight.
Interestingly there are clearly some patterns of typical bosses in certain regions: dragons for Asia, undead humanoids for Europe, birds/dinosaurs for South America, wizard for Arab countries and fashion jackets thingy for Central America
Bro, imagine if someone makes an entire story with these final bosses as the main plot point. Imagine the entire world as we know it, having its own divine protector and God. How crazy of a world would that be
If they do though they need to keep Kim Jong Un, and all the other bosses are scared of him because he looks like just a human but somehow he ranks as an equal amongst them.
Spain and Italy ones are weird. We could have had a Basilisk for Italy for example. A dragon for UK too. But it makes total sense to have a European dragon for France when you think about it.
@@lilgoblin3687 And India just some dude 😄 France though, its kinda fitting. It should be or something strong but extremely basic or extremely conceptual and unsettling like some witch doctor plague.
Im Belarusian and I think I can explain the design: Basically in the belarusian mythology there is a creature called ‘Iron man’ who is sort of like a spooky iron giant, and I think its based on him
Впервые слышу про железного человека в белорусской мифологии, если ты конечно не шутил. Я когда впервые увидел сильно удивился что нам дали какого-то мегатрона
With a lot of these designs I'm genuinely curious to know what kinds of influences the AI is pulling from. I'm sure most of them are pulling from mythology and local wildlife but some of them are so genuinely bizarre it's fascinating. Also I like that the Australia one is basically just Australian wildlife but bigger.
Tbh most of them are L’s after a while I thought it was creative but then every boss is either a lion or some gothic soldier, like I expected Russia’s final boss to be a big bear.
I'd assume the human ran the prompt by the AI a whole bunch of times, and then of the random shit the AI threw at the wall, the human cherry picked the shit that stuck.

@@OenCrownsorry, was using my very limited knowledge of video game boss tropes to list these lol. I may just update it later with every country if my mind can think of something unique for each boss
The variety in these is what really has my interest. You have some (Argentina, Jamaica, Greece, and Israel) that look like patron guardians of their respective nations that defend and guide their people. You have some (Fiji, Brazil, Afghanistan, and Australia) that look like they’re products of nature itself, neither innately good nor evil and existing to maintain the balance between the land and the people. There’s some (Poland, Germany, Italy, and Malaysia) that are monsters in the most literal sense, and look like bloodthirsty beasts that their respective nations have clashed with time and time again, growing stronger in the process. And then there’s my favorite ones (Ukraine, USA, Mexico, Bolivia, and Panama) that look like regular people who have become avatars of their nations’ wills, their very cultures imbued within a single individual to be carried onward into the future.

For 4:07 it most likely Koschei the immortal - character from east slavic folklore.

Imagine if each country had a protecting spirit. What a plot.
I WANT TO SEE IT NOW!
If any of them clashed the world would probably end
@@thegyrfalcon65Since nations are created, does that mean it's the nation's people that create the principality?
Ok.... North Korea and Captain America killed me 😂

This
It's interesting how many of these turned out as one of four basic premises - leonine, draconic, aquiline, or vaguely humanoid (including undead).
I mean, China, Bhutan and Vietnam are probably the countries most known for their connection to dragons and all of them featured a dragon-esque diety.

And then there's north Korea

The Indian Final Boss is Seriously Looking Like Lord Parshuram 💀🔥❤️🙏🏻
That was my exact thought lol
It is best honestly.. according to Kalki Puran, Lord Parshuram's still alive and is waiting for Lord Kalki to teach his Battlefield tactics and Warfare strategy
@@saiprateek5779 Yeah i know lord parshuram will help lord kalki with 6 other chiranjivis to defeat kali in the end of kalyuga....

For 4:07 it most likely Koschei the immortal - character from east slavic folklore. Basically he is the lord of undead (warlock or necromancer) and he's pretty much immortal indeed, there's no weapon to kill him.
Fun fact: the only death of Koschei on the tip of the needle, needle in an egg, egg in a duck, duck in a hare, hare in a chest, and the chest is locked and buried under an oak tree in the middle of nowhere. Good luck in searching for it.
On a magical island inhabited by various weather gods that teleports around randomly. AND for good measure the island is said to be a fairy tale BY actual fairy tale creatures.
And he still gets killed in the fairy tale/legend/folklore!
Inspiration for monster/character of Lich in modern pop culture.
@@ButFirstHeLitItOnFire main problem not only to find this chest, but animals are pretty much alive, so when you open it, hare will jump out and bolt away on full speed from you. And when he dies, a duck inside will fly away and if you managed to miss it - well you definitely screwed.
So it really not necessary to make this that hard.

That’s actually how it is in some of the myths
North Korea final boss was unexpected 😂

SICK. COOL IDEA
This is such an absolute marvel of a video, thanks mate! some of these should be incorporated in video games, they look so good!
I love it that the Canada one still seems like a boss you could have a polite conversation with before battling it. 'I'm sorry your ending will be so gruesome.'
it definitely looked the most docile out of them all
@@quickstep2408 The one before Canada is Bolivia. It looks super chill

Germany looking unbeatable, just like the former final boss.

Mexico and Egypt for the final round. Their bosses actually represented the history of their culture instead of being a variation on a lion or skull. Nobody had a gorilla? Because a gorilla would be dope.
transformers had a gorilla
Venezuela kind of looks like a gorilla with wings to me...
The Lion for Jamaica represents the Rasta Lion of the tribe of Judea. It's pretty relevant and not as random as you'd think.
That would be a dope battle. I feel like us and Mexico also share a lot culturally. I relate to them a lot and love Mexico.
@@anubis8586 It's theorized that African Ethopians were the original Egyptians before Arabs and other peoples invaded and the sailed across the Atlantic.
As a matter of fact Arabs who presently live in the region changed it's name to the Arab Emirites because they know Egyptian/Khemite culture isn't theirs.
It's said their influence is what inspired the Mayan ziggurats and Queltzlcoatl was actually a Black African garbed in white. Alot of history has been altered and re-written to fit the colonial narrative.
Some of these bosses look like theyare going to give you a quest, provide you with wisdom or power, or join your party temporarily.
oman looks like it could an assassin's creed game
