Ashita No Joe - The End Of Joe Yabuki - Manga Animation

- hello everyone, today an animation on the most mythical death of all manga which is Ashita No Joe.
I even think it's one of the best manga endings I've read in a long time (next to dragon quest and battle royale) and I really thank the youtuber Otakulte for making me discover this masterpiece!
enjoy!! - Розваги
I hope Ashita no Joe gets a renaissance of it’s own like Jojo did.
MEgallo box is its spiritual sucessor
Pls not like JoJo, never like JoJo
I don't want to see ever in my lifetime weird dank memes about Joe being in love with Rikiishi.
@Free [He] Wdym those gays😤
Milaneso Rabioso
I second this, even though I’m a JoJo fan myself
I’m disgusted with shit like that
We only need for the blurays to be licenced and a remaster for the first season, no need to animate anything...it's a Masterpiece as it is...
Danpei's looking away from Joe completely unaware of his life slipping away, pre-occupied only with whether his boxer is the new world champion. Like the fights back in Juvie where he explains to Nishi that boxing has no room for empathy, only a cold fighting machine "We need a machine that will keep on fighting... until the end."
Meanwhile Youko never takes her eyes off him, like the matches in Juvie where Joe tells her "You orchestrated this, you have to keep watching until the end".
Great analysis
No había notado eso de Danpei....
This is one of the best if not the best endings in manga and anime history.
Amazing work man!
To me, this is the best ending of any stories. I still cry manly tears…
this is easily the best ending of any work ive ever seen
Yo my man wasn't dead after all he was just nappin
Heart breaking too 💔 😭
I love that the intent was to let the reader decide.
Crazy to think that initially it would end with Yoko taking care of a punch drunk Joe.
This brought my old man to tears as he showed this to me. This impacted him so much that he lived his life not that seriously and always smiling and telling me everything will get better. He tells me not to take problems too seriously and ask for help when needed. I'm so glad to have a wonderful father.
Tbh it takes a man to realize that Ashita no Joe is actually the manliest anime out there
The way it portrayed rivalry and friendship between men just goes beyond me
neat Kimura avatar
Hokuto No Ken does a great job at that too imo
@@Kenya_Sokdeez35 yeah, hokuto no ken is goated
Based bro
Anime ? This is manga 😅
I still haven't been able to watch all 150 episodes or read the 20 volumes, but I really wanted to see this ending. Seeing it for myself, there's no real doubt that Joe dies in the ring. It's incredibly sad, but also beautiful. No wonder people still talk about this story today.
You can watch the first 52 episodes of the 70s anime and go to the 80s one
I love how you used the whistle at the end. It just felt like Joe's one last final tune before he passes.
I think there are no words to describe this work, it is beautiful wherever you want to see it. The conclusion and conflict, all to get to this moment. Giving the gloves to the love of his life knowing that he has fulfilled his mission, his fire became so powerful that he blinded everyone, and consumed everything without leaving anything, only white ashes remained.
I think that Ashita no Joe is the most beautiful tragedy I have seen in my entire life, passion, nobility, glory, honor, love, breaks, affection, and reflections are things that are constantly played within the work. Joe Yabuki, a being who starts out as a horrible person, but deep down he always wanted to be good, his growth throughout the series is a step towards becoming a man. The second ending of this season, which I consider one of the most beautiful in the entire industry (if not the most beautiful), shows Yoko looking at Yabuki, her eyes shine, it is not because of sadness or happiness, she is moved. She sees how Yabuki has transformed into who he is and she can't help but get emotional. The relationship between them always gives you hints about their mutual crush on each other, I think Yabuki also fell in love with her, but he didn't want to accept it. In chapter 44 where Yoko tries to stop him and ends up proposing, Yabuki for a second looks happy and sad at the same time. He knows that he will not be able to enjoy that love because his end was already written, "The strongest man in the world is waiting for me in the ring, so I have to go. Thank you." Yabuki feels loved once again but he knows that he can't do anything about it. He is such a charismatic and protective character of his loved ones and although he was late, a good person. He fights for who he is and to prove to himself what is in the honor and nobility of fighting. In my opinion, he never stopped being one of the most human characters I've seen in an anime, we can understand how he feels at all times and we know why. I can only say thank you Ikki Kajiwara and Tetsuya Chiba for delighting us with such a work. To think that it ended half a century ago makes me only say one thing, Ashita no Joe is a classic that will never die, we love and will always love you Joe, wherever you ended up.
I'm happy my favorite manga of all time is getting this kind of treatment I mean this is amazing.
Before Hajime no Ippo And Other Boxing Anime, There Was This Unsung Legend.
unsung? it is one of the most famous manga out there, and the ending is possibly the most famous of them all.
@@FlorisGerber A sad one, yes.
I still haven't watched the series but im starting to cry.
I might give it a shot to watch this.
It starts off weird and wonky but you'll get used to it with time. It's just so worth it in the end
your php say so😅
real this shit made me sad and I haven't even seen this anime in my life
The Dezaki version of the anime is great, but comics>anime this
Beautiful rendition, well edited
thank you!
"Moeta yo,moe tsukita,mashiro ni na"
im gonna cry again god dammit
燃えたよ、燃え尽きた、真っ白にな
As a watcher of boxing. watching this after the story of Gerald McClellan, it makes Carlos' and Joe's story more sad
Heard of jerry quarry
Gerald didn’t get to go out like this unfortunately, he got cheated out of the good fights with Toney and Jones, and so did us fans.
What about guy who changed boxing rounds forever?
that was actually really well edited. Well done mate.
Incredible... Magnificent! I love this, thanks for uploading!
Joe forever
One of the greatest things ever to be made una Ashita No Joe's image. Great Job!
This is so awesome, I love you for posting this
While AnJ is of course a manga showing the dark side of boxing and the harshness of life, I still fully believe it's also an inspirational manga. Despite all the shit Joe goes through, he still finds a way to laugh and smile. He always tries his hardest, remaining optimistic and hopeful. Whenever Joe finds out he can't get his boxing license, his first thought is to punch Wolf. This hypes up the public, which forces the boxing association into giving him one. Whenever Rikishi dies, he eventually returns to boxing after a long break, and gives everything he has into coming back and fighting Carlos. And whenever he starts facing weight issues and the severe effects of his punch drunk syndrome, rather than doing the sane option and fight in a higher weight division or quit, he remains stubborn. He chooses to fight with the terrible cards life dealt him. Although reality may try to stop Joe through every turn, things always end up working out for him
This is amazing! You did a wonderful job!
This is beautiful, just splendid.
Burned... it's all burned away... burnt to white ashes.
It truly is a masterpiece, ashita no joe is a piece of art that holds in to my heart
Just Finished Reading the Last Chapter and I Can't Stop my Taers😭

The Best Manga ever ❤️🔥
Querido Joe Yabuki
Eres la llama ardiente que desafío los límites, el espíritu indomable que inspiro a todos los que te rodean. Tu valentía en el ring y tu dedicación inquebrantable son un ejemplo de perseverancia y determinación....
Explain the ending of ashita no joe
The essence of that page is not whether he lives or dies.
We know that Joe closed his eyes without thinking he would die or wake up.
He simply thought, “I burned out,” and was completely satisfied.
It's not a sad ending anyway.
The light faded from his eyes it's saying he did die.
@@RandomPerson28337 The problem is that this series consists of 2 authors. One said Joe was dead and the other didn't
@@RandomPerson28337 Not true. Cause even one of the authors said that he didn't kill Joe. He wanted to represent him facing tomorrow. Plus the readers are allowed to determine what happened to him. Basically you believe he passed. Just like I believe he's still alive.
@@firionkaiser8291 I like to believe he lived, having found closure.
@@ProtomanButCallMeBlues Same. It truly is a beautiful scene.
Fun fact, originally the manga would've ended with Yoko taking care of a punch drunk Joe.
The masterpiece of masterpieces🥊
THEY SHOULD HAVE USED HIS WHISTLE FOR THE FINAL SONG AS HE DIES HOLY SHIT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN PERFECT 😭😭
Non mais j'ai du mal a croire que tu fais ça tous seul tellement c'est bien fais
This masterpiece is finally getting a release in English in December. We won.
DUBBED!?
@@ZaikosProductions No, I mean the manga.
@@Ghost_Planet_Industries ohh ok that’s still a win in my opinion.
Joe yabuki life is so sad 😭 yoko confessed her love to him then at the very end gives her gloves then dies I feel bad for her
She took too long to confess. Its sad
Esse vídeo ficou incrível. Li Ashita no Joe há pouco tempo, mas se tornou meu mangá de esportes favorito.

Hand down the GOAT sport manga ever, EVER!!
Good edit 😢
Honestly this anime is so great kinda sad how they’re probably not making a remake of this masterpiece
Best story ever
I just want to know if he really really died, or he's resting satisfied of his fight, and the "take my gloves" is just that he decided to retire
He's dead, that's what makes this ending so great for me
It is up to you. Bad end!
@@soigia3392 no he’s clearly dead why would everyone look so shocked if he was just happy
@@shockwavesyndrome6433 best manga but bad end!
@@shockwavesyndrome6433 No that was anime only filler.
The ending is intended to be ambiguous, left up to the reader to decide.
Finally finished the anime show 😢 what a crazy ending top animes of all time now

Was that really Joes death? 😯 I always thought he just passed out. 😬
That's my interpretation. but it is true that they does not say whether he is dead or not. I will go and find out if I need to change the title!
@@Lebelet
I just made a little research myself and found out that the ending is apparently a somewhat huge topic in japanese manga-culture. People habe been theorizing wether Joe‘s alive out not since the day the final chapter released. The author of the manga later claimed that Joe died by his interpretation. The artist said the same after that, but was more ambiguous about it, saying he purposely drew it so adult can realize he died but children may think he’s just asleep. 🤔
So I think you can safely keep your title 👍🏻
@@tacoknight5027
I also did my research on my side and I find the same thing as you. I didn't know that the creator of ashita no joe really wanted to leave doubts about joe's death. Well, finally I replaced the title with "the end of joe yabuki" I think that it better describes this scene
@@Lebelet beautiful 🤗
Hehe, relax guys, turns out he’s still alive, as any doctor can tell you corpses can’t sit in that position without falling to the ground, still, i really liked what was attempted in this scene.
Damn rip
Ashita no Joe isn't only about boxing, it's a story about a man who boxes

Can anybody tell me the name of soundtrack in the end of video when Joe is sitting?
