Check out how the new Intel i9 14900KS Processor performs in a range of benchmarks. I will be showing how Dragons Dogma looks and performs with the path tracing mod. I will be comparing it to the in game ray tracing with maximum settings, and DLSS 4K. All Powered by the NVIDIA RTX 4090.

Looks amazing. Hopefully the 5090 can do it comfortably.
go outside and touch grass. you will notice that shadows don't look like this 🙄
Path Tracing looks absolutely stunning. Just very minor noise issues and some object not casting shadows appropriately. Wish Capcom fully implemented path tracing in the future. Love the reflections on the armor and the colors bleeding onto nearby surfaces, the more accurate shadows from the sky light.
Should Capcom officially implement this for the PC version, or does the high cost and need for playtesting not make sense for them? Even as a mod, this significantly enhances the game's visuals. I hope a denoiser fix is found soon to address the lack thereof.
If they really cared they would get NVIDIA to foot the bill. A dlss 3.5 implementation (RR) would fix the noise issues.
@@pangbangdang3672 "They might need hundreds of hours of playtesting to implement path tracing and ray tracing officially, which modders don't care about. However, these technologies should become a standard for every AAA game going forward. Alternatively, game developers may not want a drastic visual difference from the console version."
I don't get how do you get almost no noise ?
Some over exposure in path tracing but otherwise looks great.
Niceee, the night and interior shots look more moody, but daytime looks like the sun is about to explode 😂
Hi Bangbuck , im very curious about something. Can you do a video with the same config but only in 1080p resolution also fight a giant monster and run in town , i need to see it please make it :p. Sorry for my english i'm a french guy.
yep, guess my 10900k and 4080 is outta the equation lmfao
this is what I don't get it on ray tracing settings in DD2, I keep enable it on but only find a dark place became darker, thats it, there is only a few additional dynamic shadow from the light I found in the game, seeing candles, torch, and campfire but they didn't create dynamic shadow on my characters or surrounding objects, only the lantern did that so what the meaning of ray tracing settings ? not like this path tracing mods, almost all the light source create dynamic shadow.
Cool video. Thank you for the hard work. Is crazy to see the 4090 at 39 fps. Cant wait to see what the 5090 will do!
What settings did you have it on? Like how many samples per pixel and how many bounces?
Just the default
And how do you do to not have any noise??? Put here the settings please.
hello brother. you have 14900ks. can you tell me please is 360mm aio enough for 14900ks. use case = gaming , emulation , multitasking and video editing. thanks please responde.
and also with intel specs = 400A / 320W limited.
Sorry I don't own an AIO cooler so I wouldn't know how it would perform. But you wouldn't get the best out of this kind of CPU with AIO cooling. It's best to get a custom water loop to help keep things under control.
@@Bang4BuckPCGamer thanks for responding. btw your system is sick!! and love the tests you do. Peace
buying 14900ks but not enough money for custom loop? 🤔
@@BaBaNaNaBa this is my first build and i don't know water cooling and also i want run this cpu with intel specs = 400A / 320W power limit. i am not going crazy oc with this chip and some reviwers are testing these chips with asus junk enhancement profile = 512A / 4095W that is not how you run a cpu.
this cpu has two power profiles
1 = 400A / 320W
2 = 307A / 253W
that is how intel designed these chips.
You'll be fine as long as you don't overclock or do weird stuff.
Path tracing doesn't look amazing and shows some huge errors.
There is next to non diffuse light and its shadows sometimes missing some objects.
Path Tracing looks very good except some overexposed shots but almost cuts the FPS in half! Hopefully RTX 5080 can handle this with it's improved AI and denoising filter capabilities.
You should try out the HD Texture Overhauls mod! There's about 5 different files needed to get it working which are: HD Environment Textures 4k Ultra, HD Monsters and animals V3, HD NPCs and Characters V2, HD Weapons V4, and HD Armors and Clothes V7. Since the "Environment Textures Ultra" replaces all textures and lods with the 4k textures, I wonder how a 4090 would handle it since it carries very high vram usage. Alternatively, the "HD Environment Textures 4k high V3" also has 4k textures but replaces lods with 2k textures, should have lower vram usage than the ultra variant.
After watching these differences, I am going to upgrade to the 5090 if it handles Path Tracing well
Smh this game with path tracing shouldn't even require a 5090 to run. Y'all are getting ripped off with all these unnecessary upgrades.
path ray tracing look stunning 😎👍🏻
Path Tracing is amazing for this game but it has some major issues that need fixing and I have my doubts the development team left at Capcom can do anything about them.
* Indoor scenes do not get correctly Path lit so can end up being strangely dark, this happens in CP77 in spots too.
* Proper optimization with DLSS and DLSS Denoiser does not exist atm.
* Some objects not being factored into the PT engine. _This is a minor issue that is probably fixable by the micro sized patch team._
not a single video using 7800X3d WHY?
Because I don't own one. I don't get given stuff for free.
tried this mod but its for now way too noisy
Path tracing should be used with fg, only upscale isnt enough, 4090 still weak for this lol.
With path tracing the grass looks very pixelated and horrible. DD2 has a long way to go to make DLSS actually reasonably useable. On my 2k 32* display the game looks like proper S**t with DLSS on. Pixels everywhere literally.
Probably 5090 or 6000 series will be able to run this with path tracing and no DLSS for a reasonably good graphics quality.
Just shows you how garbage the game looks without it. Capcom absolutely needs to implement proper path tracing with a proper denoiser etc. It looks so much better
This game was only meant to played in rtx 4090 or 7900xtx
Path tracing looks better but dang it takes an fps hit. It's more of a resource drain than Ray Tracing, which is crazy.
