The decision as to who actually won this match would remain intensely controversial long after both fighters have retired. I can understand and respect from across the divides as to either Tyson or Ngannou won the fight. For Tyson's supporters he delivered more punches albeit not lethal than Ngannou while those who claimed Ngannou won the fight say that against all expectations he was not knocked down as Tyson promised, he floored Tyson with his weak left hook, he showed and tested Tyson in a way no other elite class boxers had done. I will really love for Tyson fury and Francis Ngannou to have a UFC fight sometimes in the future. But I don't think any heavyweight boxer can last one or two rounds in the octagon with Francis.
Well obviously boxers aren’t trained in grappling, kicking or takedowns but MMA fighters are trained in punching and blocking that’s why they can transition to boxing so easily, boxing is a limited skill set whereas MMA has a wider variety of different styles and techniques.
Guys be honest, Francis could have a go at any heavy weight in the division, whatever he chooses to do with his life from now on he proved the world wrong in this fight, imaging joshua or wilder tryna survive against this beast, baddest man alive in my eyes. It's a kind of moral but justified victory for Ngannou. Be that as it may, it was a good fight and a rematch should definitely happen albeit a title bout.

Most of francis shots up to round 5 missed the target. Where as Furys never. Admittedly Francis was much better than expected and fast reflexes. He will definitely do good things in the future. But to even say he won this or it was a tie is ridiculous. The elbow was becuase fury went for the chin and francis moved in hense the elbow caught him. It was the fault of francis for not gauging correctly. Francis never won 5 rounds... at best he got 4. One of the greatest you must be joking, he has wilder ticket that's it, he is ducking all the top heavy weight pure excuses.
2,3 (knockdown), 4,6 (gave it to him because of the illegal elbow), 8. 95 - 94 ngannou
@7:58. That uppercut that Francis almost hit himself with..... he totally mossed tyson with it. Clear as day.
6ft 9 bag of milk??? 😂😂😂
Fury looked so slow 😮
Absolutely shocking performance by both for complete opposite reasons.
I've followed Fury since the beginning of his career and he one hundred percent needed this humbling,
When he said anything can happened when you get slopy. That made me think anything can happened when you get older
@@bennewman4675 Fury literally fell over his own feet at one point in the match 😆
I will give him a tiny bit of credit through. Most people would have mentally folded but Fury is actually one tough mf. He really needs to take boxing seriously again otherwise Usyk will embarrass him big style!
10:12 Love how Nagonnou countered Fury Klitschko style grab, hold lean, push back strategy to zap energy from opponentd legs and wrestled out the Fury clinch while backing up and hit Fury with a right hand to the head. Nagonnou had perfect plan of attack for Fury grab hold clinch dirty tactic.
More of a combination of a trip/knockdown & loss of balance. From the 5th round on Fury won every round. Ngannou's best round was the 8th round.
