Deontay “The Bronze Bomber” Wilder and Tyson “The Gypsy King” Fury fought to a split-decision draw in their epic SHOWTIME PPV title fight on December 1, 2018 in front of almost 20,000 fans at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles.
Fury (27-0-1, 19 KOs) miraculously overcame two knockdowns by Wilder (40-0-1, 39 KOs) - including an explosive one in the final round - in the improbable draw, which was the first heavyweight title pay-per-view bout in America since 2002. The judges scored the bout 115-111 for Wilder, 114-112 for Fury and 113-113.
“I think with the two knockdowns I definitely won the fight,” said Wilder, who has recorded a knockdown in each of his 41 pro fights and was defending his WBC belt for the eighth time since 2015. “We poured our hearts out tonight. We’re both warriors, but with those two drops I think I won the fight.”

This was just another Big Money Fixed Fight IMO. NO Way that you Knock Down the Champ 2X in the Fight and Come Up with a Draw in a Legit fight. That's why Fury immediately Reacted as The Winner after the last bell, even climbing on top of the ropes in his corner. That's because he knew that "The Fix was In" and that if survived the fight he wouldn't lose. It comes Down to Pimp Promoters who see even Bigger Paydays even if the Better Fighter must Eat Sh!t as the result. Boxing IS and ALWAYS Has Been a Very Dirty Sport. Yet, I still can't stop watching it !?!?
@@JosephKulik2016 That just shows you don't understand how boxing works. If the fight goes the distance it isn't who has the most knockdowns that wins. As long as Fury wins 8 or more rounds then it's a draw or he wins.
you'd have lose millions upon millions..
How the hell can anyone even pretend this is a draw after Fury hit the canvas twice like that? He may have won two or three rounds at most, but Wilder easily won AT LEAST one other round in addition to the two rounds where he scored the knockdowns. Wilder so clearly won this fight. Anyone who says otherwise is a F*ckin clown
Fury won 9 rounds wilder can’t box
@@ethan76708 That's completely delusional. Most of those other rounds were dead even with Wilder winning AT LEAST one or two rounds besides the 9th and 12th. Being as generous as possible, you could maybe give Fury 3 or 4 rounds at most. The rest were even, and several more of them could have easily gone to Wilder. Fury did NOT win 9 rounds in this fight. That's just ridiculous
@@logan3186 ur being biased saying lots of them were even they weren’t fury was the superior boxer u could make the argument wilder won more then 3 rounds which is why it ended up a draw but to say wilder won is ludicrous in my opinion they got the fight right being unbiased
@@ethan76708 No, they didn't. I rewatched the fight about 5 times and was as generous as possible to Fury. I was even biased as I could toward him and gave him rounds that were pretty even that I was on the fence about. Being overly generous, I gave him rounds 6, 7, 8, and 10. And at least one of those rounds was dead even, but I gave it to Fury anyway. It is utterly delusional to claim he won 9 rounds. There were even rounds. And there were absolutely no rounds where Wilder didn't land. He was only "outboxed" clearly in maybe one or two rounds. This "outboxed" nonsense is getting ridiculous. You don't "outbox" your opponent just because he threw more punches. You "outbox" your opponent when you land more significant punches. He didn't make Wilder look less talented in any stretch of the imagination. Wilder still landed, while Fury was just playing defense and not doing much of his own in most rounds. I'll give 4 rounds to Fury. That's the absolute best I can do. People need to accept that there are even rounds in boxing, but Fury fanboys gave every single even round to Fury and stole every round from Wilder except the two knockdowns. It's BS
@@logan3186 ur telling me the he didn’t win any of the first 3 rounds are u kidding me??????
Wilder might have been the very best heavyweight of his era if it wasn't for this inhuman monster tyson fury. How he got up and got better than he was before is something I never seen before. @Jan Michael Vincent Lol. It's dangerous ground to go against the chat on UA-cam!
En este clásico dan el todo x el todo es una magnífica lucha entregan el alma en el ring, son bien merecidos esos millones
Watched all 3 for the second time today. I still feel like this was the best both of them looked against eachother. Deontay was more stiff and slow in both of the next fights. Tyson showed up in the other fights, but he was also lacking the head movement we seen in this fight. All 3 fights truly were amazing moments in the sport.
That’s cause fury realized after the knockdown in the 12th that wilder is a different fighter when he’s on the back foot. This fight he had too much respect for wilders power.
@@thegreatestking2817 agreed, and not enough belief in Fury's volume and countering. Fights two and three Fury had a much clearer path to the W. Not to mention Wilder was mentally defeated after this first fight. His words said one thing, his face and body language said another.
Tyson’s defense was Mike Tyson like. He ducked and dodged and I saw a little Money Mayweather in his defense too. His slappy backhand jabs are brutal and how he switches to south paw to throw left hooks. Tyson Fury looked good in this fight. He didn’t show it when he was hurt or tired. He threw lots of feints. I haven’t seen that many feints in a fight. He has heart. Both fighters conserved their energy until the 9th and then they both were constantly losing and gaining their breath. Using every second and third wind as an opportunity to strike their opponents. But Tyson looked like the better defensive fighter while Deandre Wilder was like an airbag waiting to deploy. He has knockout power just waiting for an opening. I like the respect Wilder showed at the end after Tyson taunted him in the ring sticking his tongue out.
@@lowkeylegendaryn8v844Fury got the second wind in the final 3 rounds.
*Wilder breathes*
Commentator: FURY IS HURT, HE IS IN BIG BIG TROUBLE RIGHT NOW
itscauleyy I was waiting for someone to say it 😂😂😂😂
🤫 sssshhh This is a fair unbiased representation of the fight, which the PBC have kindly recorded new commentary for, just to make sure we the fans understand who is actually winning each round. What reason would they have to favour Wilder (a PBC fighter) over Fury in the commentary?
I am shocked by your comment
🙉
Jesu Estrada true Paulie was being honest and unbiased fuck pbc they are so biased
The commentator is PBC toothless prick.
@@Lemon-rk9hq
If you asked me Paulie is biased towards Wilder, swore up and down fighter like Ortiz, Spilka, and Breazeale would take Wilder before the fought out and now they're "no good" and "lower opposition".
Fury is one tough SOB. I didn't know he could throw the left jab so successfully and his ability to move and dodge punches at 6'9 tall and 255 lbs is unheard of for that size
He is on drugs.

That hug at the end was really beautiful. Brought a tear to my eye. World needs more of that sort of respect. Shame they won’t be bringing that energy into fight 3
Truth
Yep wilder said he wants no sportsmanship
Well when Fury won Wilder in the second fight he didn’t give Fury respect and made up excuses
Almost all boxers hug at the end. This is nothing new
That respect only comes from beating the shit out of one another. We don’t need more of that respect, because most everyone is trying not to fight.
49:39 is the famous knockdown
Thanks man
That punch didn't even fazed him. More like he is out of balance because of his heavy ass.
@@sprtcus1798 yeah

@Freddie Mercury if u saw the replay, he is already out if balance then he got hit with the left hook. The first knockdown is the same too.
The ref was counting alright until he started counting after 8, the 9 second was pretty long in my opinion
I just watched the 3rd fight and came back to watch this one. Wilder looks so much quicker at a lighter weight. His legs had no spring in the third fight even in the first round.
Ye i thought the same thing idk why he went all the way up to almost 240, also it shows impressive furys cardio is to be 270 and be able to go 12 rounds
Thing is he’s gone old now, he looked nothing like this in the Parker fight and he was just as light

@@taejon4370 i don't remember anybody near me saying anything about a robbery. The guys next to me both was saying it was a draw before the cards were announced. The Brits near me were silent and happy to walk away with a draw after fury got flat lined. My friends that were with me thought wilder won. I agreed with the draw. I don't remember anybody saying fury got robbed. Showtime commentary and mayweather really swayed people opinion on fight. I also think people fell in love with fury story and wanted him to win.
its funny how the commentators call "BOOM, right on the chin" when he clearly slipped the punch..
Are you taking about the shot Fury hit Wilder with in the 11th? It landed flush.
big dog fury ducks down and slams himself looking down with wilders hooks. He had that coming to him. You can't just look down and complain getting hit in the back of the head. No referee will deduct a point for that.

BT just reuploaded without commentary for an international audience. Better without biased commentators:
ua-cam.com/video/O7k_JcxW01Q/v-deo.html
He stunk imo
I think Fury getting up is what took the fight out of Wilder.
This is the best heavyweight fight of the last decade, these 2 were never the same again after this, Fury became more aggressive, that irky jerky style was gone and Wilder's aggression turned down tremendously after this.. The way Fury crashed to the canvas in the 12th and got up from it is amazing to say the least...
Fury really knows how to avoid that big right hand. It’s kinda funny how such a big man can move.
Makes me think of Peter Griffin joining the patriots in family guy
Lmao he got dropped twice with it
@@KingEZ33 Exactly lmao
He did that all night^^ as soon as wilder's left hit he knew he just had to duck real fast Why Oh Why does Wilder not develop an uppercut for that duck?? If he had an uppercut He would be unstoppable

God, I love the contrast in styles so damn much. Both these warriors are legends.
You know shit about boxing Wilder could not knock out a tub of shit doing the curly shuffle for 12 rounds . it will all come full circle the 22nd . quit head hunting and work the body 3 rounds.
Wilder needs to work the body and the head will follow . he chased a tub of shit about doing the curly shuffle for 12 rounds.

This was an absolute classic in the making.
Round 1: 10-9 Fury
Round 2: 10-9 Fury
Round 3: 10-9 Fury
Round 4: 10-9 Fury ( The double-triple jabs are killing wilder, and he was on the backfoot a good amount of time from the jabs alone.)
Round 5: 10-9 Wilder(Great jabs to the body by Wilder, nothing special but Fury landed all glove in that roujd except for maybe 1 jab)
Round 6: 10-9 Fury(He landed 2 flurries and landed the jab very well, Wilders only good moment was in the last 30 seconds of the round.)
Round 7: 10-9 Fury(Furys best round, 3 huge straight right hands from the 1-2 combo. Wilder had 1 good body shot and that was about it. Wilder was visibly frustrated after the 2nd 1-2 that landed and started rushing his shots)
Round 8: 10-9 Fury (Fury landed 2 big 1-2 combos. Neither fighter did much so it has to go to Fury)
Round 9: 10-8 Wilder (Fury almost did enough to make it a 9-9, but Wilder managed keep it 10-8. Although those shots that dropped Fury were all behind the head.)
Round 10: 10-9 Fury(Great feint-jabs from Fury, 3 huge right hands from the 1-2 combo, and a great double right hand to the body and then the head at the last 5 seconds of the round)
Round 11: idk man, neither guy did enough lol. Call it a 10-10?
Round 12: 9-9
Fury: 116
Wilder: 112
