Question Time Stamps for Quick Reference:
    0:00 - Intro
    1. 0:06 {What Will We Do With our Time in Heaven?} I've been feeling a little anxious about Heaven. What will we do with our time for eternity? Will we have actual bodies, or just be spirits?
    2. 21:44 {About Prophecy & Marriage in Heaven} How will Isaiah 54:1 be fulfilled if there is no marriage in heaven?
    3. 24:17 {About Following our Conscience} I Grew up in a KJVO (King James Version Only) Independent Fundamental Baptist church. I have thought about reading the NKJV, but my conscience feels like this is wrong. Does Romans 14 mean I must defer to my conscience in this situation?
    4. 33:38 {When did the New Cov. Begin?} Did the New Covenant officially begin at Jesus’ last supper, death, burial, and resurrection…or at His ascension (alluded to in John 20: 17)?
    5. 40:42 {Does God Get Angry When We Sin?} Does God ever get angry with believers when we sin? If not, why did God get so angry with the Israelites when they sinned?
    6. 47:18 {Why are Tongues Only Prevalent in Some Denominations?} Why is speaking in tongues so common in specific church denominations, but virtually never happens in others? What does this say about other spiritual gifts?
    7. 52:07 {Did Jesus Come to Abolish the Law?} Does Ephesians 2: 15 contradict Matthew 5: 17? In Matthew, Jesus says that He did not come to abolish the law, but it looks like Paul in Ephesians says the opposite.
    8. 56:29 {About Gun Laws, Usage, & Violence} Which bible passages do you think should shape how we think about gun laws, gun violence, gun usage etc? Are there any passages that are misused in this debate?
    9. 1:05:50 {Did People Evangelize in the OT?} Why wasn’t evangelism a focus in the Old Covenant? How were Gentiles far away from Israel supposed to learn about Yahweh, and what opportunities for salvation did they have?
    10. 1:09:45 {Is “Inner Healing Prayer” Biblical?} Is “inner healing prayer” as a form of trauma relief biblical? This practice involves a prayer leader asking the patient to picture vivid images and hear direct statements from Jesus.
    11. 1:13:22 {Are Only Jesus’ Words Authoritative?} Can we only use Jesus' words and not the rest of the Bible? Does Jesus teach against homosexuality? My friend claims that he isn't against it and she doesn't consider Paul's letters authoritative.
    12. 1:18:52 {Can I Trust that my Faith is Sincere?} I sincerely believe Jesus is my Savior, but if my sincerity can’t be trusted (just like the rich young ruler’s), how can I truly 100% know that I actually do have a saving faith in Jesus Christ?
    13. 1:22:20 {About Eschatology/The Second Coming} In Matthew 24: 42 Jesus warns believers to be ready for a second coming. Does this point to a partial rapture of only those actively practicing their faith, with others having to endure tribulation?
    14. 1:25:41 {Is it Wrong to Handle Ungodly Items?} I work in a warehouse handling every item imaginable. How should I handle satanic/"magic" items? Should I refuse to handle such things?
    15. 1:29:32 {About “Preferred Pronouns”} My niece wants to be male, but she was born female. She gets upset when she's not referred to her as male. I've been just avoiding any conversation at all with her, so as not to compromise. Any advice?
    16. 1:34:20 {About Spiritual Death} Can you explain spiritual death as referenced in passages such as Colossians 2: 13, Ephesians 2 and 5: 18, and what part it plays in the process of salvation?
    17. 1:37:02 {About Fossils, Evolution, & the Gap Theory} What are your thoughts regarding humanoid fossils which scientists claim are part our human evolution? Are they people from Noah’s time, offspring of angels, or part of the Gap Theory?
    18. 1:45:11 {What is the True Mission of the Church?} What is the mission of the Church? I have recently been told that it is worship and not evangelism. Therefore, we cannot worship fully without a diverse local church. I'm a bit confused!
    19. 1:50:21 {Examples of Faith-Driven Works} What counts as “works”? Since faith without works is dead, what are some examples of works that a woman can do? Serving my family? prayer? going to church? please help!
    20. 1:52:27 {What Should Godly Dating Look Like?} What should dating look like as a Christian adult? What should the purpose be?

In answer to question 14: I used to work as a delivery driver for FEDEX. I once had a package to deliver to an abortion clinic. When I saw the box I moved it to the front of the truck and I prayed over it all day until I delivered the package. Maybe if you have to handle things that you know aren't godly use that instance to pray for the person that is going to receive it. But always trust and follow what the Holy Spirit is saying to you.

This is a perfect situation to for this person to pray over every object that’s picked up to be sent to these people ordering satanic things, to break every curse of witchcraft and get a revaluation of who Jesus Christ is so they come to Christ. I think God has placed him there for a reason. Prayer is powerful.

A suggestion for #14. My parents lived on a main thoroughway for several years. During the summer months biker gangs would parade up and down the road to intimidate the population. My mom was really bothered by this because it was quite disturbing. One day, she got the idea to say a prayer for the salvation of the bikers each time they passed by. Within weeks, the parades ended. #14 could use the oportunity to pray for those shipping and receiving the items in question, or even bless the items, that they may be used by God for his glory.

Honestly yes. We wrestle not against flesh and blood, and our primary weapon in spiritual warfare is prayer. We are Christs Soldiers in the war against the elemental powers. If you see satanic objects it is your duty as a soldier of Christ to pray over them. Bless the objects and pray that God looses their curses. Pray that the daemons that are associated with them are bound and have no power.

Thanks, Pastor Mike. I loved how you worded this, when saying that by using wrong pronouns, i. e. "she" when talking about a male, you feel like you are being bullied into saying something that is potentially, or most definitely, harmful to others. This is exactly how I feel. Loved your answer and possible solution to this issue. I'm confronted with this so often and truly struggling, especially as in my line of work, as in many others, it is deemed so important to accept all this abomination.

I certainly hope this doesn't come off as stupid. I can't imagine the weight of the burden you must carry, daily, to be expected to accept and participate in the abomination of the whole trans culture and the whole pronoun demands that go with it. So I wondered if you've considered thoroughly whether you could leave your job and find something else. That's where I don't want to come off as ignorant. You HAVE to have thought about leaving your job. I just wondered how thoroughly you've explored that. Maybe it's not something you can do right now. Maybe there are aspects of the job you get a great deal of fulfillment from. Perhaps there are few other opportunities in your field, and it took a tremendous amount of work to get where you are. I'm retired, and I just know our work is such a huge part of our lives and therefore central to our 'satisfaction' and 'fulfillment' in life. Sure, Jesus is our ultimate satisfaction. I'm just saddened about that daily struggle and burden you must carry in such an important part of your life; anybody's life! My prayer is that you seek God on this, and He leads you to a path or paths out of the work circumstance you find yourself in. I'm sure He will lead you ultimately in a direction that better glorifies Him. It's obvious that you seek that in your work. Blessings to you. 🙏

On the topic of tongues, a church I attended kept pushing the youth to speak in tongues. They’d remove us from the rest of the congregation into another room for more privacy and it would continue to be “pushed” on us. I remember just faking it to get out of there. For years I doubted my salvation because that moment had me believing I had to be speaking in tongues.

    • @candiceabair9701
      @candiceabair9701 11 місяців тому

The initial evidence of having received the Holy Spirit, is speaking in tongues. Jesus told his disciples to wait in the upper room until the Holy Ghost came upon them. When the holy ghost came upon them, they spoke in tongues, as did everyone in the Book of Acts. You can then be used of God with any of the gifts of the holy spirit: tongues (then an interpreter, healing, prophecy, etc. Two different tongues: one to edify us when praying to God and the other to edify the church.

    • @seanpermann5570

not true. not every christian will have the gift of speaking in tongues. That belief is unscriptural. some recieve it and others dont. some recieve other gifts such as teaching, prophecy, and so forth.

    • @candiceabair9701
      @candiceabair9701 9 місяців тому

@antoniosalcido1931 there are two tongues the Bible speaks of. The first is the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, as evidenced on the Day of Pentecost, when Jesus told the apostles to wait until they were filled with the Holy Spirit. The other is the gift of tongues, where there will be an interpreter. You receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit (tongues, interpretation, healing, prophesy, etc), after you receive the Holy Ghost. The gift of tongues edifices the church, the initial indwelling of the Holy Ghost is God praying through us as we ought to pray. It's only to uplift you.

@@candiceabair9701 This is not true. Give me the verses where in each instance a believer is converted they start speaking in tongues. I don’t see that in the NT anywhere. You actively confusing Scripture, because it says that tongues edify YOURSELF not the body. PROPHECY edifies the body. Paul even states that prophecy far out weighs tongues in terms of spiritual gifts, then why are you sooooo focused on it?? “Do all prophecy, do all speak in tongues, of course not” your hyperfocus on spiritual gifts is not biblical it seems. You need to pray and reread acts and 1 and 2 Corinthians. It is clearly spelled out in scripture, please stop adding your human tradition to the word of God

Just having that taste of his presence when i Got saved I have never felt it again to that extent.
It was so memorable, So impossible of a feeling, I couldn't even contain myself, It was like a handshake or a hug, Just him finally being with me and It can only be described as concentrated LOVE. I felt someone else's love over take my heart, My entire soul was taken over and I had this instant download of what was hapenning, I just knew that i knew that i knew that I NOW knew God, that i NOW was actually saved and born again, That i Had truly believed unto saving faith, I also knew I was different, I knew I would NEVER be the same and that my actions are going to feel different from that point on, I knew sin felt somehow darker no matter how small, I knew that sin was wrong because it was AGAINST this love rather than simply our understanding of Evil. And I understood I had recieved something from god, I had no idea we even receive the holy spirit at this point, I HAD TO LOOK ALL OF THIS UP OUT OF CONFUSION!!

The tug-of-war we as Christians experience is really interesting insofar as wanting to be here living our life on earth while also longing to be in heaven with Jesus. I think the desire to stay here and the fear of death has more to do with being comfortable with the familiar. I can hardly wait for heaven. Living with chronic illness & pain has taught me to hold the things of this world more loosely, which has turned that into a blessing.

But each time I saw a satanic or generally ungodly item I would pray that God uses even this ungodly item to help the person who bought it to come to realize it’s futility and harmfulness, then turn to Christ.

While we were talking about this and that, one of the two guys visiting said "Do you know the bible says Jesus will come back again?" At that exact moment i was overwhemed with indescribable joy. I started pacing up and down the kitchen, repeatedly shouting aloud "IT'S AMAZING". I knew i looked like a complete madman, but i didn't care what anyone thought about me.

I believe that we are all sinners…no matter how hard we try to “be good”, we have a sin nature within us. Does this mean repentance is unnecessary or that we shouldn’t even try to overcome? As the Apostle Paul said…NO, of course not. But I believe there are some folks who dwell too much on “guilt” and end up either giving up, or they lock themselves in a psychological prison of self-degradation.
Let’s face it…we’re sinful human beings. I’m overweight. Some Pastors are, frankly, dangerously obese. Gods Word tells us that gluttony is a sin. Where does one draw the line?
I believe that, when JESUS said “It is finished”, upon sacrificing Himself for us…HE meant what HE said. I also believe that, upon our going to be with HIM, HE will complete the work that HE began in us. PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME. Amen.
Blessings Pastor Mike. Thank you for allowing GOD to use you in such a powerful manner.

This comment relates to question 3. I went through a phase of mental illness when I first became a christian. In that phase, I used to have a bad conscience (meaning a FEELING it was wrong) every time I was eating something. I couldn't bear continuously doing something that felt like going against God. So very often I would just stop eating. Lost ten kilogram in less than four months and I also stopped having my period. This was my condition for about a year, with several ups and downs. It was a huge struggle to get out of that, bc my bad conscience didn't stop even though I thought that there is nothing wrong with eating. I literally had to actively ignore that bad conscience plus all of these mysterious "sings" that I was seeing that told me not to eat. I had a huge fear of God back then. It is soooo hard to get out of that kind of toxic religion. Anyways, I think we really gotta redefine the word conscience in our culture. It is not simply a bad feeling. Didn't it used to mean "with knowledge"? So it's not about a feeling at all, it is about what you believe is right or wrong. We don't have to make ourselfs more stupid than we are and set a feeling above reason. I believe God is a God that makes a lot of sense and His ways are pretty logical. The truth always makes a lot of sense when we understand it. So why would God want us to follow a really stupid feeling if we know it doesn't really make sense?
As Mike said, eating certain things would have probably felt quite unclean to Paul. And yet he firmly believed that it wasn't. Same thing if a Muslim leaves his faith and comes to Christ, certain things might still feel unclean to them. Does that make it wrong for them to do these things? Obviously not.
I don't want to encourage anyone to do something that they don't feel good about doing or that goes against their consciounce. And there are times that our feelings should actually be listened to (e.g. I always had a bad feeling about the hypercharismatic stuff even before I knew it was wrong). But if you feel like you have something inside you that continously is forcing you to do things that limit your freedom in Christ or that are ruining your life and are sucking all joy out of you - fight for your freedom! Even if it feels wrong. Christ came so that we can live in freedom. Not to have us live under another law that we construct ourselfs.

I always thought everyone was okay whatever they were doing. Then I got saved. All of the sudden my eyes opened up to see sin. It scared me to death. I was afraid to go outside because it was so dirty out there. I started listening to 106.9 Christian radio station which saved my life. I could ask God a question and the preacher would answer my question. I told God I didn't want to go outside, and I turned on Dr. David Jeremiah. He actually said," I know you don't want to go out around the those sinners and you want to just be around believers, but you can't do that. God needs you to go out into the world and be an example and a witness for him." Then I knew God was with me every step of the way.

Giving is to be to the poor, the homeless, the less fortunate, etc. Anyone collecting money for ministering in any way will die with the wicked.
Lev. was translated wrong billy graham. Refering to pedophilia. "Men shall not molest young boys."
Delete or reject the messages sent from the messenger of Malachi 3:1 and you reject Jesus Christ Herself and choose to die with the wicked.
Malachi 2 proves Malachi 3:8 is prophetic instruction for the thieving church leaders to bring back the money they were never supposed to take for ministering and God will end Covid. Every major church around the world knew this since August of 2020 but they LOVE MONEY so much they chose to kill everyone with Covid instead of returning it!
James 5:2 Rich people are NOT Christians and the wealth they selfishly kept to themselves will only be used as evidence to burn them.
The 2 witnesses are righteousness and judgement, not actual people. There is no ONE antichrist; it was made up by people that worship money.
Stay out of the fake churches or you will die with them and their lies. In order to be a church, the place must house people inside it. Otherwise it's another private money-making business serving satan and part of Babylon.

Romans is not referring to Eunuchs where one partner is transgender.
🏳️‍🌈 Eunuchs that are born that way are transgender. It's even in the Bible. Yes, the bible was written by bigoted men and is way outdated and was changed and should be thrown out. But even Jesus spoke about transgender people. Eunuchs made that way by others were abused (it doesn't happen to everyone that is abused). Those that choose to live like Eunuchs FOR THE SAKE OF THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN are bisexual people that choose partners of the same sex characteristics but opposite in regards to gender. Notice, God PREFERS for people to be in LGBT relationships.
Eunuchs are same sex couples. One partner is transgender. Transgender is when someone is born with a gender opposite the sex characteristics normally associated with that gender. God made us male or female, determined by gender, located in the brain.
Your gender is located in your brain and determined at birth. I have an identical twin sister that is female in gender. I am male in gender.
I am Elijah of Malachi 4:5-6 and that means any discrepancies in the bible are ultimately decided by me. Plus, it states in Deuteronomy that nobody was castrated back then. And that doesn't make sense anyhow. No one is born castrated and no one is born making the decision to be celibate. But, that is what God wanted the lying preachers to think so they wouldn't take it out of the bible. Intersex people still have one gender or another because gender is located in your brain.
And Acts 3:22-23 says it will come to pass that anyone that fails to listen to me will be utterly destroyed from among the people. So anyone that says different than this won't be here much longer. It's everyone's choice.
Anyone teaching the LIE of monetary tithing or getting paid in any way to minister will also die with the wicked.
      Peter 2:9 says we are ALL ministers . . . .
Jesus was transgender and will return as a woman.....
Remember, Malachi 3:8-12 is talking to the thieving church leaders. It's the answer to end Covid and every major church around the world has known this since August of 2020 but they LOVE MONEY so much, they INTENTIONALLY CHOSE to kill everyone instead of returning it. But in Heaven, you don't get tired, the day doesn't end, and the fun doesn't stop. Idk, When I was a kid and trying to imagine eternity, I would freak out/ cry about the idea of experiencing everything and then life continued. It wasn't until I experienced those days explained earlier I came with that realization.

I don’t believe that is biblical but wasn’t sure back then. I am not a cessationist though. I went away by myself and prayed to the Lord please Lord if it’s real please let me have that gift. The moment I spoke in tongues I felt the presence of the Lord so strongly like He was beside me. I cried it was so beautiful. I use it for praying when words won’t come to me. It is very comforting.

About 40 years ago as a teen I attended a Pentecostal church in Florida (grew up in this culture) but am no longer. The pastor of the 10,000 seat church used to have the alter call then tell all new converts to go to a room nearby where they will watch a 15 minute video on how to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. After watching it they “teach” you how to loosen your tongue to the spirit by stating gibberish until the Spirit takes hold and you’re speaking in tongues. That soured me for years. But I learned through scripture that tongues is a language either someone near you can understand or Heavenly that is promoted by the Spirit. Never something we generate. I do speak in tongues but I do keep it to myself because of the harm done by the churches to this beautiful gift. God bless you brother Mike.

For Dangeroso… I faced similar dilemas in the past. For me, the decision boiled down to what percentage of the items were occult, and was it a store that was putting spiritual attachments to those items (such as spells or pagan blessings) versus just selling these items as just another unimportant/neutral item number in a big inventory. So, I could work at a general big name bookstore that sold occult books and Tarot cards along with Bibles, cookbooks, music, videos, etc as just another object they could make a profit on, but I could not work at a small bookstore that specialized in occult, New Age, esoteric media as well as handmade/pre-blessed pagan items. Even in the first scenario there were certain occult things that I’m personally uncomfortable with and see as spiritually dangerous even for casual/curiosity-lead customers, like Tarot cards, so when I had to handle those I would say a quick prayer over the item (such as “Jesus, please break any spiritual attachments on this item and protect all who come into contact with it” as my own way of trying to do my job and live my faith without violating anyone’s freedom to be wherever they are on their own spiritual journey… because I trust God and know He will find a way to reveal Himself to anyone who seeks true faith/the true God. I also know many people explore paganism as they struggle to find real faith and eventually come to realize that’s a bad/dead-end/useless path or that Evil is real so Good must also exist and eventually turn to God/Jesus.

My advice is to stop focusing on macro nutrients (fats, carbs, proteins) and put your focus on micro nutrients (vitamins and minerals). its quite easy to have enough of the macro nutrients because they exist in all foods but micro nutrient dense foods are harder to come by and they're mostly bitter. Flood your body with those micro nutrients because you'll never be able to have too much just from food.
This info has helped my family, hopefully it can help yours!

Brother, Mike, greatest answer on 2A topics I've seen from a pastor. As a Christian who is a staunch 2A supporter, I think it's a fair reading.
I would add that I think there was a strong expectation of the Messiah to come in military force and this was what the disciples expected. In fact, there were contemporary examples to them of would be Messiahs who tried to raise their own forces to do just that .
My reading is that Jesus was talking about self defense but the disciples were expecting a holy war just a little bit. This was Jesus letting them know that their battle truly was not against flesh and blood and that the power expected was traded for something greater. The disciples had to learn what that meant through his death and resurrection. They had to go through the devastation, surprise and elation as Jesus plan unfolded.
Does this make sense? Do you think I'm on the right path of thinking here?

In regard to number 15, I lost the creative writing opportunity of a lifetime, on purpose, unprompted, because I made a (respectful and in love) statement saying that I refuse to use preferred pronouns that do not match reality. As in, I refused to refer to a man, who I had been friends with for years, but was not a believer, as though he were a woman.
He then fired me, cut off all contact with me, and evidently started referring to me as though I was this horrible person whom he was a fool for trusting. I have always been a bit of a firebrand I admit, but I do firmly believe that we should not compromise truth whatsoever. It does not matter if the person is not a believer, we should always walk in truth, and that involves not abiding by lies in any fashion. Furthermore, if I did not warn that person against their sinful lifestyle, his blood would be on my head. It is pure lunacy, this idea that men can decide to be women and vice versa, and we as Christians should play no part in it, and always speak out against it.
EDIT: Regarding avoiding using pronouns, that was the option I went with for a while, and it made me feel like utter garbage. I do not care that it is a touchy/inflammatory subject, I needed to make a stance against lies, and to skirt around truth simply did not seem right to me either. My ultimate commitment is to God, His design, His truth, which is absolute truth, not to the feelings of other human beings, especially when those feelings deny God's design.

Sure, you may not have seen it the correct way but I noticed it as soon as he began undermining Paul’s clearly written expressions.
      Here is just one.
      *1 CORINTHIANS 15:50*
What I am saying, brothers and sisters, is this: *FLESH and BLOOD* 👉🏾cannot inherit👈🏾 *the kingdom* *of God,* nor can corruption inherit incorruption.
Clear language, NOTHING ambiguous about Paul’s statement.
Mike decided since Paul’s words conflict with what he believes the only option is to make the claim that Paul really doesn’t mean what the CLEARLY EXPRESSED LANGUAGE indicates.
Flesh and blood CANNOT inherit the kingdom of God. No flesh and blood allowed in heaven. NONE! According to the CLEAR LANGUAGE expressed by Paul.
Mike also contradicted Paul’s use of the terms SPIRIT and SPIRIT bodies in the 1 CORINTHIANS 15.
He claimed that it doesn’t mean Jesus or any other person who is resurrected would be transformed into a ETHEREAL or NON-CARNAL being. Yet, the GREEK WORDS used for Spirit and spirit-bodies indicate that Paul was expressing that Jesus was transformed into a ETHEREAL of ghost-like being, breath, wind, etc…and that other SPIRIT BEINGS naturally are invisible non-CARNAL or INTANGIBLE beings.
So, again, Mike had a decision to make. He doesn’t believe those resurrected in Christ will be spirit beings with intangible, supernatural bodies, like wind or ethereal. He believes that people are raised with tangible forms so he decided to reject Paul’s CLEARLY EXPRESSED language to force it to conform with his own views.
      Hope this helps.

My answer/opinion for question 14 about working at a warehouse that handles Satanic or evil objects:
I would pray about this, but think it is important to remember that you don't know what the reason/purpose is for all the items that you are handling. What if the item being ordered is for research or as a display item that will be used by a Christian ministry or outreach to educate others on the evils of other faiths? Thus, even something that could be used for evil, in this situation it will be used for good. Also, items like crystals that New Age cultists might use may be bought by others just because they are pretty/decorative. Also, this struggle may be occurring to give you a chance and motivation to witness to your coworkers or for you to deepen you relationship with Christ as you seek to better reflect Him to those around you!

When God made Adam, He gave him a job. He was to name all the animals, he was to care for the earth and rule over it. And that was paradise. It seems alien to us to have work in paradise, but that's because of the abuse and futility we experience in our jobs.
Heaven won't be the same as the Garden of Eden, but it seems that we'll have meaningful (non-abusive, non-futile) work to do there.

There is no such thing as rapture. Jesus comes back to rule. God's people are caught up spiritually...
Hello! I wanted to share my experience regarding the question about reading the KJV Bible. I used to believe that I should only read the KJV Bible because my grandpa told me it was the only reliable version, and he was the person in my life who seemed to take his Christian faith most seriously, so I thought he was probably right. However, my inability to read the KJV Bible prevented me from actually reading it. When I read other versions (I started with the NIV Bible), I was more motivated to read and I learned a lot more. Still, it felt wrong.
What finally eased my feelings about it, though, was the idea that I could work my way towards reading the KJV Bible. It felt wrong reading the NIV Bible, but after reading it and learning more about what the Bible was teaching, I could then handle something more difficult. I'm currently at a point where I read the NKJV Bible instead of the NIV Bible. It's still not the KJV, but by reading the NIV Bible first, I've gotten a lot closer to reading the KJV Bible. Eventually, perhaps I'll get there, though. I'm certainly moving in that direction.
Main point: if you feel like it's wrong to read the NKJV Bible, then it might be okay to read it and view it as a stepping stone that helps you to reach your goal about reading the KJV Bible.
It seems like this is a more deep-rooted issue for you than it is for me, based on your background, so my answer may not satisfy you, but it's here in case it does (or if it helps anyone else who might read this).

    • @somethinggood9267

Not exactly. I recognized the fact that the differences between different versions were more about details, but most still have generalized similarities. Once I could understand the general similarities through reading the NIV Bible, I was then able to face the details. In which case, I could use the NKJV Bible and working my way towards the KJV.
Think of it this way: calculus uses a lot of addition. If you try to learn calculus as your means of learning addition, it would be too difficult. It's easier to learn addition alone, which is more foundational. Then, with that foundational knowledge, you can then learn the more complicated parts about math, moving your way closer to understand calculus (and beyond).

I want to thank you so much Mike for your thorough biblical discussions here On very profound topics. Your biblical viewpoint on the resurrection is right on point according to scriptures. I’ve been studying this topic for a long time now and finding it hard to come to any concrete understanding due to the fact that the Bible doesn’t give us too much details Concerning how the resurrection will take place and where the righteous will reside. But it gives us a lot to consider and you have helped those listening to do so. I always felt that the righteous, the ones who have followed Christ,& have strong faith in him and those prior to Christ coming but always looked to God, we’ll have a resurrection.
I’ve always felt that we were meant to live forever upon the Earth because it is God’s footstool and he said in Isaiah, that he did not create it simply for nothing but to be inhabited., Isaiah 45:18. And in Ps. 115:16 it says, “ as regards the heavens, to Jehovah the heavens belong, but the Earth he has given to the sons of men.” The Earth is a beautiful perfect planet that God made for mankind to enjoy life forever as he told Adam in the garden of Eden. He promised to send the seed that would crush the serpent to undo all the damage that Adam had done. So faithful mankind can be reconciled to God through Jesus Christ ransom sacrifice. Genius 3:15. I would think it was so they could live in paradise on earth that God originally planned and we could be God’s children?
I want to point out a scripture on the topic of speaking in tongues that I feel answers a question that was raised on your site today about speaking in tongues. First Corinthians chapter 13 verses one through 10 shows us that these gifts of prophesying and speaking in tongues would be done away with. But Love will never fails. They served a purpose in the first century as the new congregations were being formed but there’s really no purpose for them now, that’s how I understand first Corinthians chapter 13 and considering the rest of the Bible. Thank you so much for all the hard work you do in your research of Bible understanding and for sharing it so clearly with us , your viewers.

Considering this I plead, truly seek Him and truly think about the facts that are presented and you will see that Jesus’s resurrection is indeed the best explanation for the historical records we have today.

If you don't consider the actually tomb as evidence, why would you think Mike's words would be convincing.
Because he speaks in a way that "feels" believable, or because he offers heartwarming stories the make you "want" to believe.
What a joke! Have a magical day of pretend.

I had a brief conversation with a student and always have to be cautious as it's a public school.
I asked her, what is more loving to do for a friend? Tell you the truth even though you might not like it or lie to you just so you can feel good about your self?
While she didn't really answer it clearly gave her food for thought.

Mike commenting on your answer about Guns/violence/swords/self defense... Luke 6:27-36 (The law of love)
Jesus ministry was a non violent ministry, we should follow his walk of self sacrifice, even dying for our enemies.
The world would be a much different place if Christians really followed the way Messiah lived, a less violent way.....
@Father Charles Emmanuel McCarthy is a good place to start on that non violent walk Messiah like love of friends and especially enemies.
    Blessings great episode.
    Thank you Mike!

Hey Mike, there's actually a lot more to the gap theory than you had stated, which is understandable, given the time restraint. I'd love to have a discussion with you on this. I've done quite a bit of research on it and I think I could make a decent case for it.

I had to stop the video after your explanation on heaven. I’m balling my eyes out…I’ve never heard this explained like this, and it just hit me like a ton of bricks that that is what I’m getting…not “just” floating and singing, 😅 (even though I was fine with that idea) but this new, real life, like it’s supposed to be…and God wants me there. And not just for me, I have a disabled daughter who asks about this frequently. Her being free from her disabled body is her big wish…but being 13 yo, she’s also like, but what am I gonna do there for eternity? Just float around? 😂
The fact that she’s going to experience real life one day with a perfectly functioning body is just…well, heavenly. What a hope. What a God. Thank you for explaining this so clearly, I’m glad I can now share this hope with her. Greetings from Belgium.

I very much enjoy the way you present your videos. Thank you so much for this blessing. I’m feeling really happy and sometimes that puts me in a humorously silly mood 😁 so I have an off topic question: Did you know that Bugs Bunny’s favourite song is “I dream of Jeanie, she’s a light brown hare”?😂😂

Humans define the meaning of words, the god of the Bible does not exhibit any qualities of truth as we define the word. Assuming that the poetic writings of ancient civilization somehow constitute truth, without evidence is simply a misunderstanding of the concept of knowledge, but then knowledge is discouraged in the Bible for that exact reason.

Good to know that you are in Long Beach. I went to Long Beach State taught in Long Beach and saw the decrease of a population of Bible believing desiring to please. God follow the Holy Spirit, men and women of God. I’m listening to this podcast in another state and I’m enjoying it thoroughly as I take a walk, thank you so much for your ministry and thank you for being a light in the city. I love very much I just can’t see myself living there anymore but it’s good to know God’s people or all over the globe, including Long Beach. As we say the beach or Strong Beach
