Glad you got a break brother 🙌❤️ thank you for your hard work 💪🙏💪 we appreciate you brother 💗
Great video I always wondered the truth … I knew that it was basically all about the Benjamin’s and there are a lot of stocks in the Justice systems …… 😎Eric is already hooked up for the movies ! He can work for God and make big chances in his next journey …. Thank you for this video !
Glad you’re back !! Dam I miss this. 👍

Peter, one of your best episodes. It should be shown in every high school. I respect all of them because they learned from past mistakes. It’s all any of us can hope for. Prayers for everyone involved. 🙏🏻

Ever wonder why these guys go in so young. The undeveloped frontal lobe is a big part.
I am a retired Arizona Correctional Officer after 23 years. This was a wonderful and inspiring video. Everything that was said by Michael and Eric are 100% spot on. It was refreshing to see them accept their past and to be completely honest about their prison experiences without embellishing anything for shock value. It was also nice to hear that Michael had nice things to say about staff and how his growth helped make that happen. Years ago I ran into an ex-inmate at a staff funeral and was so surprised at the job he was given a chance to get. He leaned into me and said, "We aren't all bad." I responded, "Ditto...neither are we." 🙂
Awesome comment man thank you this meant a lot to me

My youngest son spent a couple of years in prison, and he really didn't want to share the experience with me. He was released in 2021 and wasn't able to get the help normally given prior to release due to covid. It took him months to get a job, which the majority of what he made went to pay for his PO and other legal fees. Sadly, he took his life after only being out a little over a year. 😢 I truly believe that more needs to be done to help all of these men and women, so they have a positive opportunity to live a better life. How do they expect them to pay all of the fees required to stay out of prison if they can't get a job? The system is definitely broken. I appreciate all the videos you share and what life is like for so many others. Stay safe and keep on sharing. ❤
I’m sorry for your loss. No parents should burry their own child. May he rest in peace.
This is heartbreaking. You are correct there needs to be more resources.
I am so sorry to hear this, one can only imagine the pain and sadness that reached his soul, wishing you and your family Light and Peace, love from Toronto
Michael is so interesting to listen to! He explains everything in such a clear and concise way! I learned a lot.
I love that he and Raquel go accompany other people who get out.
One of your best stories monsieur Santenello 👏
First day out of prison and he is meeting Peter Santenello. On one of the best channels on youtube.
lol before Eric got out I was thinking how lucky he was to get to meet Peter on his first day out, Eric didn’t know who Peter was because he had been in prison so long but I’ve been a long time fan so I was a bit jealous 😂

@@Lion-dq9uj Why would you say that? Why do you think people would put themselves in that position unless they wanted to help people?
I did as well but I know there's many that want to reconvict people daily. Guards have gangs, and they will get rid of you one way or another if they don't like you.

I spent 3 years in a Georgia prison for theft at 17. I was a drug addict that came from a hellish life and made dumb decisions because of it. I am now 33, have a beautiful family that I always wanted, have a community that loves me and and even found a lawyer that was able to get my criminal record sealed so that I’m no longer a convicted felon! If you’re reading this and have gotten out of prison, you can overcome your past and have a bright future. It’s a hard ride but I know you can do it!

The most relatable episode for me. I been in and out of addiction for 23 years. In and out of prison for 23 years. I am from a small island, 🇬🇺 Guam and I caught cases here and did time here. I moved to the the states and did time there as well. Then I moved back to Guam and this time I caught a federal case. I got sentenced to 40 months at Lompoc FCI. Since I’ve been out 2017, I’ve been sober and reclaimed my life. I now advocate for recovery, I help inmates transition from incarceration to society and I have an amazing job and home and marriage. I love every one of your videos Peter, but this one is the most inspiring by far. Amazing that you got access to tell the story of Eric & the work that Michael & Raquel do is awesome. I feel so inspired after watching this & i am humbled that you shared this with us all. Massive love & positive thoughts for Eric & Brianda.
I'm not the most religious person, but this video motivated me to look this verse up: Luke 15:7 and 10 " There will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over one sinner who repents that over ninety- nine righteous persons who need no repentance. " Best episode ever, Peter! Everyone is praying and cheering you on, Eric.!
Needs an edit
I appreciate Michael's attitude. He took full responsibility for his actions and di not blame anybody else, and didn't blame his parents. I wish him well.
I love seeing people fix their lives, and completely change from criminals, to being productive members of society.
He was born again. God is involved in his transition. He can't fail.

Erik and Brianda, I'm sending you my sincerest best wishes for healing the trauma you've survived and so that you'll have so much positive energy and joy in building the future of your dreams. And I wish this for everyone who has paid their debt to society and wants to rebuild their lives-I don't underestimate the difficulty. Peter, thank you for sharing this video and thank you Michael and Raquel for the work you do. Also, the reunion between Erik and Brianda was very moving to me. I know we listened to Erik's story, but the whole time I was also thinking of Brianda. Erik, you are BLESSED to have a beautiful woman, body and soul, so committed to your relationship and love. YES, it’s the American citizens that will make America good again ….not D.C
You just made me realize, the videos that Peter does are like the real journalism of the 80's. That all has went away these days. Excellent observation, sir! And thanks Peter, for a great episode!
Wow, this was such a compelling video. This is why youtube is killing network TV, you just don't get raw content like this. Best of luck Erik, you got this man.

I would love an updated part 2 with him. I hope he can pursue everything he sets his mind too. And certainly wish him luck adjusting back to the real world. Great video once again Peter! Wouldn’t mind another collab with the other 2 again either!
One of my favorite episodes yet. My child’s father did 15 years here in Tennessee and him coming out was so hard. Sadly he went right back to his nightmare life! I tried so much to help him, even our daughter tries so hard. Kudos to these guys. I hope they keep their heads held high and on the right path. Great video and heading to subscribe to them.
Sorry to hear that Natashakey. I 100% believe it comes down to easy money and be accepted. My neighbor did 25 years and now has LEO'S as Saturday night bros. He has a good woman and changed. Unfortunately our reform system doesn't reform anything. It just teaches how to be better criminals.
I appreciate that couple. Thanks for doing what you are doing.

i LIKE your videos before watching because you've done so much the past 5 years documenting on the realest level man, no BS agenda or rage baiting content .
Love this video.. and how Peter went outside the box and done this story. So many have no clue as to what life is like for those behind the walls. So many have no clue how hard the transition is from inmate to civilian. Such an awesome video, and this is why dude is the best on all of UA-cam
Awesome video. I worked the AZ prison system many years ago and this definitely changed my mind if inmates really regretted their crimes or regretted getting caught. I wish the best for all in the video. I’m an AZ deputy sheriff now and Peter, you do look like a cop. May you continue to have success
Michael is a prime example of “dont judge a book by it’s cover.” Genuine and articulate, intelligent person. Decision making is where it’s at. Making good decisions is critical. After several years inside myself, giving my life to Christ was life changing for me.
From 95-02, prison taught me a lot and I took those lessons from the yard and applied the respect and discipline from inside into the outside.
My last trip inside was on a violation for 2 year.

Keep showing the world about the prison industry. Please make more videos about this. The world needs to see the truth. Best episode you have made yet. Make more like this, please. One in twenty men in this country spend time incarcerated.
One in twe-…
Prison was 1000% slave labor they made us work work work 17. Cents a day
That’s appalling. Even more appalling is that 1 out of 3 black newborn males will end up in prison as it stands. They stand no chance practically.
One in twenty men are criminals who commit crimes you mean? Prison sucks. I would do anything not to commit any crimes if I knew how much prison sucked. But most people just don’t commit crimes and won’t have to worry about ever going to prison. I applaud the humble who recognize their bad choices and move on after prison.

Beware of dem donuts; you see what they do to the men in blue, dont you? 🍩
Man this was a good video ! Hit home for me as I also have a past of incarceration. The stories and just going around the county’s and prisons can always be a motivation to not want to go back to those places ! I myself have I’ve 10 years side prisons and jails and making a comeback I to society can be hard…..I still have ticks myself from inside but it’s all about how you take it day by day ! I wish more attention was paid to how our prison system sets people up for repeated failure. Thank you Peter for addressing this very real issue.
Rehabilitation comes from within. People set THEMSELVES up for committing further crime!
@ please explain how someone who gets released, dropped off at a bus stop with nothing but their clothes, is setting themselves up for further crime
I’ll wait
@ They commit further crimes as they expect other people/organisations to bail them out. These criminals never take personal responsibility & ALWAYS blame others for the choices & actions they take!

I always look forward to a new video. This one is one of the best for me as I have a relative who spent a lot of his youth in prison in Texas all through the 90's and got out in 2004. He too got saved in prison. He came back to the home town got involved in AA got a job immediately from one of the other members who owned a factory. Within a year met a beautiful lady, got married and now 20 years later, he is still married with a son. He told me about some of his time in prison and stated he stayed neutral while incarcerated and served his time without incidents. My prayers go out to the young man you featured in this video and hope he will have a great testimony for years to come. Thank you Peter for such great content and subjects. Real lives in real time. Always the best.
Happy for him getting out of prison. Keep your head up man
This was the best episode. Very informative especially living in AZ. I could have watched a video with these guys talking about this stuff for hours. They seem like good dudes. Best of luck to both of them.
From my experience working in a prison, this is spot on. Glad these two are making a difference.
I’m already subscribed to this couples channel. Thanks Peter! I would love hearing more about prisoners who have served their time. Perhaps some who have been out a year or six months. To see how they are coping. I think it’s amazing what this couple is doing to help. I pray that God blesses their effort and the people they are helping.
You always think peter cant top his last video but somehow he always does it. Very engaging and entertaining
He is genuine and trusted so people reach out to him so he can tell stories like this.
Peter you could hear the excitement in your laugh for that inmate! My daughter spent 10 years in prison and she went through the anxiety when she got out. The struggle is real for them when they get out. Finding work and housing is difficult. Employers and housing managers are very judgmental of anyone who served time. It took my daughter months to find employment and it was minimum wage. She is a single mom so minimum wage is hard to live on. She finally found a job as a motel manager with an apartment for the manager. It’s hard work but she is doing good.
So happy that you're back! 5am in New Zealand and never clicked so fast. I hope that you had a fabulous break team.

And she has to ride in a separate car. 😢
Awesome video !!! I did 11 years and when I got out it all seemed like a dream. Everything was very overwhelming. Actually brought a tear to my eyes when he was released. I remember that feeling all too well .
Thank you so much for this video Peter.. and especially Michael for his insight into this dark world. I have been to jail for about half a year and I can attest to everything he is saying. Jail is hell on Earth and that is not hyperbole. I truly hope this opens people's eyes to the abuse and inhumane conditions that millions of people are living through at this very moment. There is absolutely nothing about prison/jail that is rehabilitating, which should be the ultimate goal for these broken people. And from my experience the worst part is absolutely the food and lack of sunlight. I become sickly and malnourished because the food was so disgusting. They actually had us eating Cargill CHICKEN FEED for a lot of the meals and called it "soy protein" ... I worked in the kitchen and it was disgusting. No human should have to eat the quality of food we were serving. It is torture. Reform is needed and this video I hope will help in that regard. There is no excuse for a country as advanced as America to be treating ANYONE like they do in these places. So thank you for shining a light on this dark world that nobody wants to talk about.
That was so enjoyably insightful! Rooting for you Erik! Michael and Raquel - keep doing the wonderful work you are doing!
This was an amazing video Peter. Thank you for the work and for sharing again. Michael and Eric's stories should be heard by everyone and are a real bright spot in a currently shitty world. (And I subscribed to Time Served too! 🙂
My brother from another mother , I’m glad your out brotha. You have a great head on your shoulders and I can’t wait to see you shine on the outside! We grew up together in Los Angeles and this man has the biggest heart and is one of my greatest friends! Nothing but love and all I can say is I’m proud of you!
All the best to Eric in his new life. I wasn’t expecting a topic like this, but it was interesting.
Changed his outfit and became super man. I'm truly greatful Eric shared this experience with us. What a humbling experience to share in the first moments and hours he regained his freedom.
What an episode, great insight into how someone like that feels coming out, the guy who got released is totally reformed. U can see he has a great heart and is very smart. I wish him all the best
And Peter is back with a vengeance... looking well rested, healthy, happy... it is a pleasure to have you back in the saddle!! What a wonderful show! It is so good to see young people making sincere efforts to turn their lives around, supporting one another, learning to love... a beautiful story of hope! My heartfelt thanks to you Peter for continuing to introduce the people of your country to one another. No matter what the topic is of your episodes... the one common and continuing message is that simply we are all human, we all have struggles that we are trying to process and we all just want/need a little love and support from those closest to us. Welcome home Peter, sending you hugs galore from this old gal in Canada.
Can we talk about how good he handled the store???? I had extreme panic attacks in stores after a couple months.. 12 years!!!
What an absolutely incredible video. This is truly one of my favorites from you Peter, and that's saying alot!! I found myself feeling quite an overwhelming sense of emotion towards the final 10/15 minutes, simply due to the amount of raw humanity and deep sense of spirit shown through these individuals. You can feel how grateful he was to be given this fresh start in life and you just know he will do everything humanely possible to become the best version of himself he can be. This video is so important not only for those who might be going down the path he was 12 years ago... but also for those of us on the right side of the law who could use more empathy and understanding to see that humans who make mistakes can truly change if given the right support and second chances.
God Bless all of you!
It was very vivid to see this, because 6yrs ago I was him. I didn't serve nearly as long, and I was a bit of an oddity. A Caucasian from Chicago than ran with the Paisas.
I did time at Florence and Yuma, but had a stopover at Lewis while being transferred to Yuma from jail.
Thank you 🙏🏼
God saved me, and ive never been back! 🙏🏼
Keep doing what you're doing Peter!
Stay strong Compa 🙏🏼
Michael and Raquell, your relationship is all God 🙏🏼
May God protect and lead this young man to a blessed life.
I got the chills when he said his grace... I sensed his appreciation for freedom and the things us civilians typically take for granted
I will be praying for you Erik! Amazing story. God is by your side. Thank you to the couple helping Erik out. Thank you Peter.
One of my favorite episodes! I teared up seeing him come out and reuniting with his gf 🥹 Thank you again for sharing everyone's stories.
I loved watching this story!!! It was so hopeful in that this young man has really grown while going through challenges I can’t even imagine having to endure. And the couple that joined you on this journey was so awesome ❤ What they are doing for their fellow brothers and sisters is beautiful ✨🙏🏽✨ Thank you so much, Peter, for sharing this with all of us.
