@hookedblades6471 anything Lewis can do to blaydes, Tyson can do to an eager grappler.
The untrained fighter look like he took two boxing classes in his life
I hope the Internet realizes that they're just gym bros with martial arts gyms and they aren't like badasses cause they have an MMA gym membership
Hands up to respect the punches ✅
Closes the distance ✅
Change of direction to take down opp ✅
And
Didn’t rip off his neck😂✅
JIU JITSU #1
Hell no if he knew what he was doing and wasn’t limited by boxing gloves he would have gotten a knee to the face trying to get his legs ending the fight
Everyone talking about "strikers" as if this man remembered he had knees, elbows and shins
The BJJ guy has shit takedown. Oh wait almost all of them are. 🤣
Lmao this guy 🤦🏻♂️👆
As someone who is an advanced striker but is just starting BJJ i kind agree and i'm from Brazil, we barely train takedowns, it's nothing close to Judô.
@@finessejiujitsuTXHonestly, it wasn't the best but it's definitely not shit like the commenter said.😊
wearing boxing gloves makes it almost impossible to break a guillotine lol
Bro he’s got gloves tho
Gloves are to keep him from breaking his hands
Give him MMA gloves at least lol
He made his choice 🤣
Put hammer in each hand he’s still getting choked out
@@N17-o2rprolly cuz he’s untrained
Nice sumi!
This isn’t striking … what a terrible representative of striking vs JJ ….
Caption says untrained fighter
The "untrained fighter" has a background in boxing years ago. The match was set to go on until the grappler could get a submission finish with jujitsu ruleset or the striker could get a finish with UFC ruleset.
I do wrestling and ju Jitsu and all I have to say is he’s cooked😂
Looks like both trained bc ain’t no way red shorts hasn’t he would whoop tf outta some street dude 100%
Not really. He kinda looks like he slap boxed in a bathroom before.
real question with no harm intended. i do practise muay thai. in this scenario trowing a knee to the face or an elbow to the neck will be basically ko/heavy damage. do bjj guys consider these factors?
The video is titled BJJ vs Untrained fighter. “Untrained” fighter had some taekwondo experience in his youth, which is why one of our students recording states “striking vs JiuJitsu” but as the title says, it’s clearly and untrained fighter going against a JiuJitsu athlete.
@@finessejiujitsuTX you completely dodged the question tho
I have bean doing BJJ Brazilian jujitsu for 4 years now and im 11
Wow how genius of the guy with the gloves to stay in close range like that after that combo missed, that made so much sense!
It is remarkably clear that homeboy was holding his hands back when he was throwing those shots... like clearly recoiling
Fight starts
“Don’t lose all your energy” 😂
you can tell he's going for the double leg takedown by the brace on his knee lol
that's why Jui jitsu is such a cool sport because if you did need to use it in a real-life situation, nobody knows what to do from there.
That slide was smooth what the hell
Untrained striking** vs moderate/average jiu-jitsu
striking versus Jiu-Jitsu or untrained striker versus trained fighter?
What kind of hands are those😅, out here doggy paddling lmao
The grappling with boxing gloves was one thing but damn u also put on helmet to lessen the blows 😂 this dude
Smooth!
"Striking vs jiu-jitsu" 😂 did you see what happened to Ronda vs Holly 😂
Knowledge is key 🔑 how could he even defend a grapple with boxing gloves on 😂 he should've tried the infamous one boxing glove trick from ufc 1
That was sick
Awesome demo
Damn that guy looks like a insane striker. Well done on the take down 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Honestly, IMO do judo, jujitsu boxing or kickboxing one grappling one striking and you’ll be set I like the idea of Judo over jujutsu because I was a heavyweight wrestling and like tossing (and yes, I know Judo derived from jujitsu)
it all depends on the time and place and who ur up against. all fights start on the feet. but if you get someone that’s a striker and has decent takedown defense the striker will most likely take it
What is this skill based matchmaking bruhh😭😭
As a boxer, im rubbing my hands when somebody drops their jab hand like that😂😂 i can smell the ko from over here😅
A jiu jitsu fighter takes a untrained fighter with no real experience to the ground it’s over
Predicted that within 2 seconds of it playing
Bad Boxer vs Good grapler 👏🏽
I’m looking for anything in a fight. Don’t box expecting that to be like that in a real fight. I picked up boxing to add to my bag but I know tai kwondo. The best would be Muay Thai, boxing, ju jitsu, and Akido combined as the ultimate martial art
Honestly grappling wont do much in most situations, in a bar situation you can only throw fists, not enought room for kicks or BJJ
Lmao using boxing gloves while facing a grappler is like wearing a football shoe for sprint race
I wouldn't call the guy with gloves on a "striker" as to prove BJJ works against someone who can strike properly. A simple but effective jab would have stop him from the take down
The caption is accurate. Finally
