- it was so fun to witness the city through fresh eyes - my mom and sister's first ever in NYC! as always my main focus was making sure they try some of my favorite food spots in the city but of course we had to walk through central park and the lower manhattan. We also made it down to Dumbo and there's is still so much for us to explore of the city i love being a tourist again 💗 I swear I fell in love with NYC all over again seeing just how much they enjoyed it 🥰

Okay, No. 1 your mom is so cute! And as someone whose lived in New York on and off for most of my childhood and young adult life, I am glad to see you enjoying the city. I have never been able to finish trekking all of Central Park myself, and I was there a lot. Also, I will be moving to Seattle in January, so I will be looking through your videos to see the spots I should try. :)

A recommendation for you and your affinity for asian food: Win Son, a Taiwanese restaurant in Brooklyn. They also have a bakery that has amazing breakfast sandwiches and sweets. Definitely vlog-worthy

I’m a pickle girl!! When you know, you know! Oh man, that sandwich at Katz! And I miss matzo ball soup! Slurp. When I lived in NYC, food was everything! So many options, so much quality eats! But even a bagel breakfast sandwich from a bodega was yum! Love your tours of NYC food places, it takes me back. That is the one thing I miss about NYC. You can’t beat a New York bagel! Thanks for taking us along for the ride, Alia and family! Oh, and if you have not already tried Doughnut Plant in the LES/china town, please take us there! These donuts are SO quality and unique flavors. The simple glazed donut melts in your mouth! My mouth is watering now. lol
yes the FOOD here is crazyyy! as you can tell it's my number 1 priority when someone visits 😅 but there are still so many places to discover can't wait!
