Optima Heads to Laguna Seca on a Vintage Trans AM Weekend

For a lot of drivers or even spectators for that matter if you're into any form of racing Laguna Seca is a bucket list track to drive at or attend. When Optima Search For The Ultimate Street Car put out their schedule at the end of last year and Laguna was on it for 2023 it was an easy decision to make this trip happen. The Optima event would he help in tandem with a variety of other events that same weekend including Vintage Trans Am racing which I've never seen in person before this. I'm a huge fan of watching the "real deal" cars race around a historic track like this for a weekend. As one person trying to encompass the optima event plus all the other classes racing that weekend was an impossible task but this will give you a very small glimpse into it. If this track is on the schedule for next year again I'm going to make sure I attend again as once was not enough.

Cool video! Like seeing the old SCCA and Trans Am cars running Laguna Seca, it's one of my favorite tracks. I have driven it three times when they held the MIata Reunion there.
