The C10's score in D&E was largely impacted by the absence of objective (non-judged) elements- no functioning backup lights and as indicated in the video, no functioning radio, which is a big one. These aren't required to run in the series and aren't a secret, but the absence of features typically found in street cars- working lights, horn, HVAC, radio, etc... will significantly impact someone's D&E score by design. As the series name suggests, this isn't a series for race cars with license plates, but street cars (and trucks) that can be enjoyed on the track. We look forward to seeing these guys again at one of our upcoming events!
@@optimabatteries FYI the truck has working HVAC and reverse lights... no radio, it was on the bench to install but we were more focused on the truck running and not having mechanical issues. We’re big boys and understand the rules. We appreciate the opportunity to be able to race in the series and all that #optima batteries does for this series and everything automotive related. It was a great shake down event and we look forward to Atlanta!
@@creativewerksinc HVAC and the horn were examples of what is scored in D&E. The score sheet in Vegas that Preston signed showed a 0 for 1.b.10 Exterior lighting: Backup lights. If they are working, make sure he gets his points at the next event!
Don't feel bad about no audio in the truck- the only audio I care to listen to is the engine, singing it's song.
Beautiful truck,to bad ya can't drive it
Brand new truck, brand new driver🤷🏼♂️
Loved the sound effects. 😆
Ah, yes the audio is provided by a Frankenstein 710 headed 427 cubic inch LS7. Who wants to listen to anything else?
You got screwed on your D & E score.
🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️ we will get em in the next round
No radio, we will get them next event
