I remember watching this at work during a quiet period at the end of the day, as it was going on I was telling people "this frame is incredible", and then by the end there were 4 of us gathered round my monitor watching at the dramatic conclusion. Sport at its very best.
YOU, Rangda, are what sport is all about!!! I'm certain you were very tired after a long day's work, yet you still stuck with this incredible match. Where do you get the energy??? from an old man who misses such energy!
Once again, a delicate video discreetly edited. This frame needed someone like you to deliver it just the way it deserved. What a semifinal. You can see Kyren being sincerely devestated the way things turned out. Really emotional. What great figures these players are! This is what all sports should be like.
Easily the most enthralling ending to a snooker match I've ever witnessed. The heartbreak for not only McGill but for Kyren, only adds to the drama. I'll be telling future generations to watch this frame, not only for the importance of it but to show how the temperament and mental strength of a snooker player wins matches and the heart of the fans. Massive kudos for both the players for giving us one hell of a ride.
Absolutely no reason to be embarrassed. Luck, good and bad, happens to everyone. It’s part of the game. Take your win, Kyren...the table will turn on you soon enough. Really, a terrific frame...
Kyren had some bad luck on the ball in the side when it looked like it was in. Kyren did miss a few very makeable shots tho specially that red ball in the side where he let position detract him from the shot.
I've watched a lot of snooker matches, but this one is nothing like anything I've seen before. So many twists & turns, I had no idea who was going to win until the final ball was potted. Crazy stuff!!
A TRULY EPIC & HEARTBREAKING CONCLUSION ! 21:20 Kyren Wilson, like any gentleman was visibly upset, and he didn't want to win the deciding frame due to a fluke shot. Anthony McGill gave it his all, but we can't deny that luck also plays a role in the game of snooker. Both of them are very good players.
It's been some 2 years since this match (and this frame), so I couldn't remember the circumstances. This is, without a doubt, the most unusual frame I've ever seen. Snooker is, most definitely, a gentleman's sport, for which I am eternally grateful.
Really appreciate the annotations explaining why it wasn't a miss and what commentators meant by 2 attempts left. Makes the video a lot more accessible for people like myself not adverse with the sport and rather just on a UA-cam rabbit hole
I’m new to the world of Snooker as well. This is a great channel for learning as well as enjoying the game. Having logged a few hundred hours (yes, I binge, why?), I can say this video is one of the best specific examples of the game. Also, consider this starts on the 33rd freakin’ frame!!!
Heartbreaking? He was 20 points behind, clearly not favourite to win the frame and says he had something stolen from him? He needs to get over himself. He would have done even worse against Ronnie in the final than Kyren did.
What an amazing frame of snooker. I actually thought Anthony McGill played the better snooker through the whole frame and still lost! Found a new respect for Wilson too after seeing this. Didn't think too much of him prior to watching this but can see he's a decent person after the fluke on the green to feel so bad. Well done to both players. Maybe that semi was better than the final last year!
In spite of the intense circumstances, it's truly commendable to witness the unwavering sportsmanship exhibited by these two athletes. This video has been meticulously edited, doing justice to the significance of the moment. Kyren's genuine devastation is palpable, adding an emotional layer to this exceptional semifinal. Without a doubt, it stands as one of the most riveting conclusions to a snooker match I've ever had the privilege of witnessing. The heartbreak experienced by both McGill and Kyren only intensifies the drama, highlighting the undeniable importance of a snooker player's temperament and mental fortitude in clinching victories and capturing the hearts of fans. Enormous commendations to both these players for treating us to such an exhilarating spectacle!
This video has to be the gold standard of presenting any editted snooker match in its entirety. Ur efforts are totally appreciated and the views reflect ur work. Cheers. I hope wpbsa is taking notes
What a match it had everything like kyren said one of the best semi finals you'll ever see.. Thanks for the upload cesar bro I love your channel I can binge watch your videos for hours buddy one of the best snooker channels on UA-cam hope you and the family are good too cesar 🙏👍❤️
Been watching snooker since I was a child and can honestly say I have never been on the edge of my seat as much as watching this match , fantastic play and unbelievable tension , mcgill deserves some serious recognition for his part in this 👏
Surely one of the best last Frames ever played in any Tournament! Played by two lovely Gentlemen! Your Heart breaks for Anthony who takes it so well at the End! Two genuine, great Guys!
Rewatching this again. Although I know the outcome, I'm still as shocked and stressed as the first time I saw it. Imagine if an audience was present; there would definitively have been at least of instance of cardiac arrest from the amount of tension. Despite not winning, neither Kyren nor McGill, they truly won our hearts and this frame will go on to define their legacy. It will be remembered as much as Ronnie's 7th title 50 years from now. A rare classic.
I told everyone in everyone I knew to watch with me when it was on, it proved to be one of the most memorable frames of the last 5 years and It made me root for Kyren over Ronnie even! I do love an underdog story, got extra respect from me after this especially how it ended and how he reacted.
FANTASTIC to see the Gentleman Sportsmanship that this sport was and still is all about. Feeling guilty about winning 😳. How many more sports can you say that about ? Well done lads 👍s
This has to be one of the most enthralling games I have ever seen. The position of ‘Favourite to win’ swaps and changes so, so many times? And it becomes such an epic game, that you as the viewer has to keep watching it till the very end. Great entertainment.guys.👍 Thanks.
gotta appreciate McGill mental strength coming from the qualifiers and almost every match he faced came down to the wire i mean the guy was walking on egg shells the whole tournament this was one of the most bizzare and wonderful matches i have ever seen
Looking at McGills current form - I feel like that his play style....always on egg shells! Currently 8-7 Mcgill/Bingham as I'm typing this....calling it now Mcgills got a chance to win this year!
I'm 17:25 mins in the video and the rollercoaster ride and the anxiety got the best of me an I had to pause for a breather. What a frame. The snooker gods are trolling both players. Going back in to finish the video. This is good, riveting content!
WOW! Just finished the video. Both players played the snooker of their lives!! 👏🏻👏🏻 P.S: @Cesar Muroya, your content, commentary and editing is absolutely fantastic. Keep doing what you're doing. You're clearly, naturally gifted.
what a nice things this was put on youtube i "follow" snooker or at least like to see it when its on TV and have time but i miss that one and never heard of it before today , not sure why i didnt i can imagine u guys watching live or in the audience !!!
Everyone remembers Ronnie's amazing tournament but spare a moment for the run in for these two.... kyren, Hamilton bye, Victory over defending champ, Mcgill epic battle with Lisowski and pistols at Dawn with Clarke all during a global pandemic thats the beauty of snooker!!!
Ever since I saw Wilson I saw a young kid with all the skills as the rest but he brought with him a hunger an then he became my favorite player . Obviously I love me some osulivan but in retrospect watching that even younger kid a 16 year old Hendry just throwing great players aside like they were nothing and his first championship at like 4am with me at 5 an her at 70 screaming at the TV, we bonded a lot over it even tho we never really talked about it , her passion for snooker sparked mine , was constant 40 to 48 break for years then my nan died an I pulled away from snooker was easy cos I was in the army but I had a dream am she shook her head , I hope it was because she wanted me to play my best break was 62 and that was after a few more years but I certainly mastered the middle of the road game, if my mum an dad had had tge same faith i could have been at least semi pro just for me an my nan to enjoy
I watched this look I've and it was the most crazy thing I've ever watched in snooker what they were playing for and to lose like that heartbreaking.amazing 15 mins
Definetely the most deserving 4 players were in the semis this year...not sure Kyren 'deserved' the win here but it was edgy and both had their chances, more about mistakes and luck than about skill - but truly a game to watch, often it goes like that. i hope McGill will also rise to the top, he too is a proper snooker-player. But in the end, i'm pretty sure Kyren actually did better in the final than McGill wouldve done against the destined winner, Ronnie. Great video, really well edited, and i finally can recognize Studd! Great stuff, Cesar! And i agree, Kyren's turn will come. There's a drought in snooker still for a couple of weeks so i hope you have some more videos coming up meanwhile...
These two players to me are way too emotional playing. McGill here had a lot of chances and seemed to decide too much in haste, bad planning at times and you can tell when he sits that he is seething a lot of times. Kyren well he is outwardly emotional most of the time. So yeah, not to say you can't have emotion but at some point you have to keep it in check to perform. And I think that's one of the reasons Kyren was so badly beaten in the finals. And to me the other semi final, in an ideal world, would have been the final, because I think Selby is a superior player to these two, but so is the Championship. Great video, thanks for the upload!
I remember watching this at work during a quiet period at the end of the day, as it was going on I was telling people "this frame is incredible", and then by the end there were 4 of us gathered round my monitor watching at the dramatic conclusion. Sport at its very best.

Don’t be stupid, you really think kyron was heartbroken because he won by a semifinal
My god, this frame encompasses an example of just about everything you need to learn and know about snooker. A _CLASSIC!_
Well said, Joseph... I might add, "everything you need to learn and know about LIFE!"
Absolutely no reason to be embarrassed. Luck, good and bad, happens to everyone. It’s part of the game. Take your win, Kyren...the table will turn on you soon enough. Really, a terrific frame...

I remember watching it live, the craziest frame of snooker I’ve ever watched.

Same here
The most exciting frame of snooker I’ve seen in 40 odd years of watching the game.
I've watched a lot of snooker matches, but this one is nothing like anything I've seen before. So many twists & turns, I had no idea who was going to win until the final ball was potted. Crazy stuff!!

That last quote from McGill was just heartbreaking. Thanks for uploading this and the annotations !
Heartbreaking? He was 20 points behind, clearly not favourite to win the frame and says he had something stolen from him? He needs to get over himself. He would have done even worse against Ronnie in the final than Kyren did.
unbelievable. what tremendous ambassadors for the sport these two fine young men are. well done to both of you for the total respect you gave.
26 minutes of tension. What a great game to post. Thanks Cesar.

Some superb sportsmanship from both players, despite the odds. Class match!
I think alot of the emotion and respect is shown in the forbidden handshake. Great pair of potentially underestimated gentlemen.
This was absolutely brutal!...It just shows how much it means to the lads....

I've watched snooker since Ray Reardon was the king and this was the most incredible frame I have ever seen .......off the scale !
Crazy frame. So much pressure. What makes snooker a great sport and respect on the table.

I was thinking that, what a shame no audience...the oohs and aahs would have been constant! Crazy frame
I can remember watching this live. I can't lie, it choked me up.
So pleased I watched this live, I hadn't felt tension like this since Davis and Taylor in 85'...
