Austin is lovable. His role as Tex in Once upon a time with leo and Brad is as a nice guy yet also seems very dangerous if he needs to be. That's the talent of Austin. He's disarming. The movie is mesmerizing for some reason. I've seen it 3times now. Update: as of Aug 14, 4 times. I'll now buy the movie. I loved elvis growing up, and somehow Baz transformed Austin into Elvis.

The leather performance was amazing, and that was his first scenes he did !?! 😳😳😳😳 You would think this was shoot way into him getting used to perform Elvis. Austin Butler will go a long way !! This is just his beginning!! I really hope he gets an Oscar for this !! He really deserves it !!

I had to go back here after the awards season. Joe, you were absolutely right. This movie did shoot Austin to the same level of stratosphere kind of popularity. It's amazing, Too bad about the Oscar, I felt he deserved it(Brendan was great but Austin's performance was more Oscar worthy in my opinion) but considering the numerous awards he won, including major ones like Golden Globes and BAFTA, his accomplishments are really extraordinary considering that this is his first leading role. And he not only became popular, he become the newest heartthrob. The same happened with Leo. We seldom see an actor who have both stunningly good looks and equally superior acting skills. That's a rare find. And what's more, Austin is such a down to earth, charming and very kind person. That's why we fans love him.

I like to hear Baz’s voice…but he does talk too much sometimes. He’s also VERY odd (but he’s hard not to like him).
Oh, I hope not; Di Caprio is someone I personally cannot stand. I would hate to see this seemingly humble young man turn out to be an arrogant hypocrite in his everyday life as his other guy has in spades.

He does not mean he has the same personality. He means Austin is an immediate star. He is far more humble.
I've seen every Di Caprio film but I have a great dislike for him. i don't know a single actor I dislike as much as him yet I still watch his films. lol
@@nenabunena You choose to do that and that’s fine, but for me there are a few that I have even less respect for than others, that I just can’t handle usually due to their preachy, arrogant and often hypocritical attitudes about various subjects. When they start lecturing about what the public should be saying, doing and even thinking then I am done with them; their possible talent is overrun by their failure to keep their mouths shut concerning matters of which I don’t need to know nor care about. That is just me.😊
