The robot reaction time is so fast. The robot dont just go for the ball, it calculates its future position, with current position, speed and path heading. The robot anticipated and go for at position 1:45
I probably know how that works. The robots are line drivers meaning they look for the white lines on the floor. They have an internal map of the white lines so they know where they are. As for the players and the ball. The camera looks for differences in the solid white border. A big black difference. It’s another player. A small orange difference. It’s the ball. And the rest of the coding is just strategy. All with a reward system for getting the ball in the goal. Super cool.
Going by the way the field is played out, and each of the units having slightly different patterns on top, I would say they are being remotely controlled by a central computer, watching the game from above using a camera. The AI coding itself is probably not all that different from what you would use to make a video game, which while still complex is well understood at this point.
Because they function in the real world they would need to have intelligence and sensors to feel where the ball is. They basically work the same as a human brain would. Using sensory input to process information and control the ball. It's very different to a bot in a video game, which only plays out a set of predefined sequences.
A fair game would be few robots with great speeds, and other with not so great speeds. After an entire run, robot stops to restore its breathing. And, goalie act all surprised when he clearly missed the ball.
Me: Wow this awesome! Also me: Yellow team will score, No pink team will score. No yellow will do it I know. Impossible, blue-pink are playing aggressively. Yellow ones are playing defensively and they've messi and Reinaldo both. At the end, *I knew it!* 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@stevenvandevelde2171 what I have heard is it needs hardware, programming knowledge and lots of support. Still there should be some way that I can build by assembling hardware and putting a ready software

That feature still needs to be added. Perhaps they can flip over and spin their wheels to complain.

Wonder how the robots would feel if accidentally scored in own goal.
So many mixed emotions running through their processors
😂😂
They would feel overheated... Those are some power motors in them in order to overpower the opponents.
System malfunction 😂😂😂
They're all so effective on defense, it makes you wonder if either team could ever score.

This isn’t football. This is hockey. That’s why it’s so easy to protect the goal-line

Are they remotely controlled or are they coded to function by themselves. That would be some insane code/
