A tad surprised there's no allied Para/Airborne battalions or Fallschirmjager included too.
Thanks for the review.
You're welcome. From the battalion organisation section: "Airborne forces will be detailed in a forthcoming publication dedicated to that aspect of this campaign and others."
I’ll have to find out where Lovats Commandoes got toor the Paras.
The trouble with watching a movie, yo see about a dozen men per side and without reading what actually happened.
Not just taking the 2 bridges but how the relief arrived and what they did next.
Thanks for the review... missed it coming out, so added it to the collection.
No Worries, I hope you enjoy it!
I've not gotten into O Group yet, but this supplement looks awesome if I ever do Normandy.
Its a great game and this is a really good addition for a good price.
Purrrfect review.
I'll get my coat.
LOL, thank you!
Superb timing, I went to the Web site this morning and was disappointed how little information was given about this in their blurb, so I did a Google search for reviews, nothing and then your vid popped up, many thanks, it is exactly what I needed. As an aside, are the scenarios 6’ x 4’ friendly?
Great! Perfect timing! Glad it was useful! From the scenario section: "All scenarios can be played on a 6’ by 4’ - 5' table, although with larger scale figures, 20mm and above extending that to 7’ by 5’ - 6' is recommended."

Thanks Alex, that is a good fit for me, ordering now and will go with Doxdirect.
Done - dead easy, thanks for the Doxdirect shout.
@@norm977 you're welcome, they also include sweets in their parcels, so what's not to like!
Do the army lists in the O Group Normandy supplement account for different types of formations / divisions when it comes to support choices? Or are they all grouped into a single points buy list.
I'm not sure what you mean? The basic British, American, Canadian, French and two German lists have their own support lists that are unique to them.
@@StormofSteelWargaming I was wondering if the army lists provide different 'divisional support' elements based on your infantry battalion being part of say a British Airborne vs Infantry vs Armoured Div - where being an armoured division might provide easier access to tanks for example. Based on your answer, I take it as no and but that the lists are generic enough to shape your force one way or another. I guess splitting the German list in to two leans towards the way I was thinking.
Not surprisingly a tremendous introduction to this supplement - though the ultimate test is how well the scenarios actually play. And kudos for two flags - the Ukrainian flag icon on your bookshelf and the use of the historically correct Red Ensign for Canadian forces in 1944. I'll be curious if you stage one of the scenarios on your fine channel.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed the review! I've got to say that the Ukrainian flag was complete coincidence, it's a shoulder flash that I won recently in a competition! Yeah, I'm going to try and get at least one of the scenarios on the tabletop at some point and film it!
@@StormofSteelWargaming Well I've got family in Western Ukraine so I notice these things. Very bizarre to have a hobby in which you're gaming in the wreckage of Caen while watching the scenes in Maripul, Kharkiv and the outskirts of Kyiv. (I even had to change my Brit film channel's handle from vlad65 to walt65 for obvious reasons)! But I will need to get this supplement and look forward to your scenarios - thanks again for showcasing Mr. Brown's latest effort.
I’m glad you did this because I wanted to see if it would be good for other systems
Cheers, yeah this would easily be used with other systems. You'd just need to tweak it to suit.
Thanks for the great review - I had no idea they were even working on this supplement. Apparently your “panther” seems taken with it!😸😻😼. I hope they do a desert supplement at some point.
You're welcome, yes, there is a whole range of them planned according to Dave and Richard, so keep your eyes peeled. Tiny is a big fan of O Group.
Never heard about OGeoup, will have to look into it, but where do I start?

I must buy this : Great review, cheers.
You're welcome.
As usual, a great review!
Nice review. With more specific lists o Group becomes much more interesting.
Glad you enjoyed it, yep, there will be more of this coming in the future according to Rich and Dave.
Looks a useful addition.
Yes indeed. A little more meat on the bones of the core lists in the rule book.
Thanks for that Alex, looks like it delivers
Thank you Chris, yeah, its a good little publication. Lots in it!
Yes, I’ve had a look…as I hoped for, the US scenarios are easily translated to use with my snowy Bulge stuff. Might dig them out this week!
Is this a standalone expansion? Sorry if I missed it in the vid. Thanks for the reviews on O Group!
Yep, I literally said it at the start of the video... Link is in the description.
@@StormofSteelWargaming 😅
Very useful. Thanks for the video. Wondered what you would get for your money. Seems good.
Thank you, I'm glad it was useful. I think it's pretty good value for the money, IMO.
Will the army lists take you to crossing the Rhine ??
No, it's only Normandy.
Good review
Thank you!
I just printed my copy and working on a US and German forces my vehicles are based thanks Ste lol
This is Alex, not Ste...
