The fact that everyone has a different opionion. Really speaks to how balanced and viable and fun every stance is. Well done respawn
Well except dual wield, beeing almost best or second best for most.
@@MrDeflador yeah blaster or duel weild is most people's mains and the secondary are the double blades. I like blaster and double.
For me it's
Blaster>>>double>duel>cross>single
That being said I have a ton of fun playing all stances. They did a really good job with these imo
Most viewed one I found put dual wield as 2nd worst @@MrDeflador
@@oestergaard141 dont know how it is now, but an launch it was the only lightsaber that allowed you to move cancel, which makes most bosses really easy.
For real, I main crossguard and that got me through most of the game since unlocking it while switching to dual wield once in a while
Double blade and dual wield will get you through basically all scenarios the game will throw at you.
Exactly. Neither are my favorite but they both combined handle everything. I felt locked into the dual/double combo which made me sad because the other three are all SO fun.
@@daveyjoneslocker4703 you can play the other 3 though just fine, even on grand master all the stances are strong and well beyond playable
Not on higher difficulties. Dual weild is basically useless on Grandmaster.
Fully agree 👍
@@microsf121Dual Blade is the only stance that allows you to cancel mid-combo with block/parry. It's absolutely essential on higher difficulties.
This game must be way more balanced than we think. I swear every content creator has a totally different order to what they think is best. Really awesome!
Yeah, the only consensus among what I’ve seen is that cross guard isn’t great and the dual wield is good
@Anonymous but cross guard is still really good
@@Anonyomus_commenter Depends on your playstyle. Ever since I've unlocked the Cross Guard stance I've felt like any single-target tough enemies or bosses are much easier to handle. You have to be more patient and calculated, but you hit like an absolute truck. If you've ever played a strength build in Dark Souls or Elden Ring it's the same idea.
@@Anonyomus_commenter cross guard is great for bosses or single enemies but bad for groups
@@Anonyomus_commenter whoever said that trippin fr, I partly main ed cross guard and it has got me through every hard boss till the end of the game. Honestly I don’t think there is a stance worse than the other, it’s all play style based and what you really wanna use.
I feel like all the stances are well balanced, with dual wield being the stand out only for the animation cancel. Personally double blade became my default, and I keep cross gaurd in my back pocket to burst down annoying enemies. I really miss the stance changing combos from the first game though.
Double stance sometimes gets me hit due to being locked in an animations but I really love how it feels like you’re dancing around the battle so I can live with that
Nah blaster stance is OP especially with the right perks. The gun shots are hella powerful
You can just swap stance mid attack to change movesets.
I’m the complete opposite. I primarily used crossguard and would swap to double bladed for some bosses. Expect for Spawn of ogdo in which I used crossguard to defeat.
I do something similar but i just use double blade to mow down weaker enemies decently fast before whipping out cross guard to take care of any tough enemies
Single always made the boss fights the most fun. You can be extremely acrobatic, do pretty good stagger and close the gap really efficiently. I had so much fun Jedi flipping over boss attacks, coming down with the overhead slam, flipping away and gap closing with thrust and overhead slash.
Single is hands down the best. It does everything well but nothing exceptionally. It's just also the most boring.
@@AllDayErrDay. Its not that. Stance is one thing but force skills also are important. Im using only double blade and have maxed force pull push is amazing. Force pull than aoe
Single blade just feels great to use, even better than the first game. Every attack has so much weight and purpose behind it in a way come of the other stances just don’t (aside from cross guard, obviously) while still being agile.
@@thegrapethief5514 I lean towards single just because of the classic jedi look. I also love the animation going from single to duel wield
I just naturally fell in love with the duel wield and gun combo. They just complement each others strengths perfectly
I knew I wasn't the only one
It was so fun but i’m currently on Crossguard Dual wield
u aint a true jedi
@@IsahDaPlya ???
@@ninjacat4401He is saying that because he uses the gun
Single blade is my personal favorite. I beat the game on grand master just using that stance. It’s classic. Don’t fix what isn’t broken 👌🏼
Single blade gang represent
Single is definitely the best, and I switched to that stance whenever I was stuck somewhere in JGM. It's just not as fun as the other stances.
The game has no way to defend vs air attacks and single blade get 2!
its awesome dashing, double jumping and whooping ass
@@AllDayErrDay. same here, best universal stance
Single blade should be #2 on the list. It really does have an area it excels in that others don't match up to. Aireal combat. This is the stance to take if you jump away from enemies instead of dodging and if you jump into fights instead of deflecting and running. The only other one that comes close is the dual blade, nothing is as good as the single blade for that 'death from above' slaughter.
A tip for dual wielders like me! When you throw one of your saber while dual wielding, you get access to some of the single sabers special moves for a couple of secs if you got it leveled up in the skill tree. Like the L1 + square or Jump + L1 + square. Another reason the dual wield is the best stance. It’s the best of both worlds!
This isn't completely accurate. You can combo with any of the stances by manually swapping to the other stance you have selected. Dual wield is fine if you're playing below master level difficulty, but if you're playing on higher difficulty, some of the other stances have significantly more value.
@@joelb1299 I think you missed the point of the comment.
@@joelb1299 naa you just don’t know how to use it💀 just bc of the canceling mid animation bonus alone, I was able to beat Rayvis and Final Dagan without taking a hit. On the hardest difficulty at that
@@AllDayErrDay. What's the point? You can combo stances with any two. Just manually switch in combat. You can also do combos with force abilities + stance. So what do you think was the point that I missed? Magic combos when he throws one lightsaber?
@@snappy7225 Not hard to do that. Both bosses were easy, and you don't need duel wield to do it. Maybe when you learn to master the other stances, you will do better at fighting bosses with them. Until then, you are a Padawan Survivor at best. Keep learning.
I've grown to love the crossguard stance, mostly for its charged reflection and the massive block meter damage. I've also learned to time it right to avoid too many hits as well
My question is, why does the "weight" of the lightsaber change?
@@ophidianstudios1637realism wise? No clue HAHA. But I guess for balancing reasons, to make it not super OP
@@ophidianstudios1637it’s a bit bigger than the normal saber but i’m not sure really
@@ophidianstudios1637 because gaming. It has to be a "conciet" to allow for variation. There is no reason this would be able to block more, and the range adjusment would be the only real "change". I will totally take this if we can get such varied play styles. I use Crossguard and Blaster, just because they are the most fun and interesting to me.
I feel like the blaster stance is the most OP stance at least in terms of difficult boss encounters or 1 to 1 fights. You can close the distance very fast and from a very long distance while chipping the health down with the blaster from far away (if you have the perk for increased blaster damage, it's even more insane).
Stun shot trivializes many enemy types. Carried my first playthrough. Going to switch up for NG+ and try different stances
I honestly wish other stances could animation cancel, at least to some degree, because it's just SO useful. Makes the Dual Wield feel so much more responsive than all the other stances.
Yeah but that’s what makes duel wield special still makes no sense
swear, the way you can just keep comboing enemies while parrying their attacks is so clean
I've personally settled on blaster and cross-guard. Blaster is useful for thinning out large groups, especially when in a wider space, and cross-guard works wonders against large enemies and melee bosses with it's superior block and heavy blows.
Crossguard is awesome. It's only other downside outside of slow wind-up is that all of its abilities on its skill tree use force.
@@AllDayErrDay. that's why you max out dat force meter. ;)
This is my set up too 🤝
Crossguard is the best.
Real
I’ve focused with cross guard for one-on-one scenarios and boss fights that can deal more damage strategically, while double is used when against multiple, since the extra blade can catch enemies outside of the Carl’s front 180-degree view
Dual Wield and Cross-Guard make for an awesomely flexible setup.
Blaster and duel weld were easily my favorite stances and the ones I prioritized through my entire play through
I understand it's a "me issue" but I hate that stance, it's silly looking and lame. Jedi with blaster, feels wrong.
Pretty much my goto as well during Run 1. Maybe switch Duel Wield for The Duel Sided, if it's a Sunday.
@@NeOmega83 John wick jedi, what's not to like
@@NeOmega83 did some of y’all just not watch rebels? Jedi with blasters is canon and acceptable
Dont use the blaster then just use the fencing saber
I really hope we get a stance wheel in the next game. All the stances are really good in their own right and it would really be nice to have access to all of them at once just because it really doesn't make sense to have a gun or extra saber on your belt but you just don't use it
If you play on pc nexus mods already has a mod for that
I disagree; restricting what you use is a conscious design choice that makes you strategize what you want and what you _give up,_ which is underappreciated. If you give everyone access to everything at once, what tends to happen is that players will use less of everything, because they'll optimize to only use the best parts of every style, and every further addition gets mined for just the best pieces and the rest ignored. Having just two styles forces you to use more of each style and think more about which styles complement each other, which is something you don't get if you have access to all of them at once.
There's some interesting analysis from the Magic: The Gathering CCG about this very idea in card game design and why they set up their Modern format to rotate sets out to prevent stagnation from being able to use every card in existence.
@@dizzyMongooseompletely agree. And respawn was nice enough to give us infinite respecs anyways so everybody can try out every stance
@@dizzyMongoose what about if it's a new game plus thing. After beating the game I'm just tired of having to go to a bench or circle to switch
@@moe18777Yeah but given the state of it who plays survivor on PC?
Double bladed is easily my favorite!! I have caught multiple mini bosses in an endless combo and the deflecting never gets old. It's a feast for the eyes when you have multiple heavies shooting at you.
Blaster is just light-years above everything else, honestly. When you get your health back, it will also reload your ammo gauge, and there's a perk that increases your blaster's damage. Landing blaster shots increases force gauge too. So, you can approach a fight, unload all your shots, use all your force gauge, then pick up your bloodstain, unload everything again. I cheesed through the first phase of the Rayvis in like 10 seconds with this strategy.
Blaster stance is my favorite by a long shot, bosses just get completely parry countered even on the red attacks and its still effective against multiple enemies without even including force confusion being a filler option for large groups anyway
I used blaster and double bladed for most of my run through the game, to me, blaster just feels like a better version of the single. Although it really just depends on your perks.
And thats also with me not being able to reliably trigger point blank shots
So many place the single blade below all the rest. Its such an amazing balanced approach to the game. It does those amazing single slash (or stab!) damage to faster opponents with enough reach to get in and out. The overhead slash is also exceptionally good against very strong targets. This way I defeated Rayvis way faster than all the other stances.
My go to was doubleblade with cross guard and single with crossguard. The mix ups, moveset potential, and adaptability was fantastic.
Blaster has quickly become my favorite for both bosses and crowd encounters. Being able to combo string bosses with point blank is insane damage and speed, sometimes better than crossguard. And then in crowds you can pick off little enemies at range and then take care of stronger enemies with point blank and combos, or pull them all in and do a sweep with crossguard stance which is my favorite secondary due to charged deflect and huge damage.
Single Blade is way better than people are giving it credit for. It has good moves, no drawbacks, and it's balanced throughout. There is no reason to give this the lowest ranking when it does literally nothing wrong.
It's not as flashy and cool. I do like it for bosses though makes it feel extra dramatic.
It’s the best stance by far.
Last I looked with the blaster it's basically the same and more damage
But I may be wrong correct me if I am
@@Derthss much prefer the moveset of single bladed, blaster since deals more with thrusts than sweeps which does impact what you hit in one go.
I used single and double for most of my playthrough, even when I had all of them mostly upgraded and used a lot, I still ultimately went back to those two, double saber just had so good crowd control and some great moves, single is just so well balanced that it really doesn’t have a weakness, and it’s moveset is excellent (stuff like magnaguards are so easily stunlocked by single, it’s funny)
I love cross-guard big boy and dual wield for second. Cross-guard sounds and feels just impactful and it´s fun taking out one enemy after another…with almost onehit or guard break everything.
The crossguard stance is by far the best in both offense and defense if you are a soulsborne fan the crossguard will literally carry you through the entire game
Just unlocked it last night and as a Strength souls player I am very happy. It's the closest I can get to the UGS in Star Wars lol.
It's all about getting the timing right once that is perfected, the cross guard stance destroys even the bigger bosses quite fast
Too slow for me... double blade is all I use. Dual wield as a backup tho
Just beat the game again on GM with the crossguard all the way through there's a combination of perks that basically allowing someone shot everything but at the same time you do get one shot by everything including blaster fire from sources
I think 'by far' is an exaggeration. I'm a soulsbourne fan, but I have a different preference. It's down to playstyle 😁
I spent a decent amount of time with all stances and ultimately settled on dual wield and blaster stance as my two. They just feel the best and compliment the way I play and how I want my lightsabers and cal to look
At first I hated the crossguard, but after being forced to use it on a force tear, I realized how good it was. Yes, it’s slow, but as shown it has such power.
My favorite is dual wield tho
They did a great job balancing the stances. Almost everyone I know had a different combination that was their favorite. For me, it was double bladed and cross guard through most of the game
saame
This is probably the best ranking I seen.
I use dual wield and double blade.
I like how the animation looks switching between the two. It looks more natural.
Plus they are the perfect combination
The only time I don't use Dual Wield is for specific enemies;
Crossguard is excellent if you want to break the big claw of those giant desert scorpion enemies (then swap back to Dual Wield lol)
Blaster (with the Stun upgrade) can stunlock certain very annoying enemies, particularly the Raiders with the big 2-handed hammers
dual wield definitely my number 1 too. its my go to for boss fights, the fact that u can parry and enemy while hitting them at the same time is amazing
I mained double blade for most of my grandmaster play through, it’s ability to reflect so many blaster bolts back at all the enemies regardless of who fired the shot was outstanding. For most of the game I used dual wield as a secondary until my buddy convinced me to give Crossguard another try. I practiced with that for a while and got good with it and still used double blade for most things. I would break out crossguard for heavy enemies or boss fights, and it’s ability to break enemy guard meter with its heavy damage and the shatter perk felt very good in the final boss encounter.
Great list, after trying them all pretty extensively. I consider blaster stance SS, and the other stances where you ranked them. Against a really tough boss, I just think it's by far the best stance that's why I consider it SS. Ducking in, and using the saber only when you need to, and doing most of your damage from range is just OP at times. The only thing I haven't been great at is hitting the parry's with the blaster stance, the window seems very tight, unless I'm just doing it wrong.
Blaster and Crossguard together is underrated
That's my go-to setup at the moment too. Crossguard is just perfect for dealing with giant enemies, and blaster is very nimble and allows you to pick off foes from a distance.
Just started new game + grandmaster with fortitude, purity, and warrior. Decoded to use the stances I didn't use the first time and the single blade is underrated af the cross guard is better once you get spacing down but I mostly use it to break guard
I go for dual wield and cross guard, Dual wield is the best for combat overall and once I break the guard of the opponent, immediately go to cross guard for big damage, it deals big damage especially with the perk that gives temporary boost to damage after switching stances. Dual wield is so fun to use, you can pair it up with any of the stances basically.
Best ranking vid so far, all of the other ranking vids just doesn't get the usefulness of the dual wield.
Single blade with force consuming attacks are amazing. It might even knock enemies down or do heavy dmg. Even such guards as Strikton can be broken like this. Of course, outmatched by the crossguard, but the speed boost might be worth it.
Double bladed is a must have because of blaster control you can bassicaly pick whatever with it but i personally like the free block/damage you get with the blaster. Charge shot is really op. If you play on gm it makes everything way easier because you always have that free damage
I never got a lot of usage out of blaster but realy loved switching into crossguard for big hits then switching back to another stance
Wish at least for third game they would give single blade stance the ability to switch lengths like Vaders Lightsaber, should open a lot of new possibilities
My ranking
#1. Dual Wield
#2. Single
#3. Double-Bladed
#4. Blaster
#5. Crossguard
The Blaster and Double Bladed stances are my favourite because between them you feel like you have a fully equipped tool set ready to take on anything
I still think the animation cancel should be for combat across the board, not just duel wield. Reason being it’s a lot more rewarding and engaging for dodging in time, and doesn’t lock you into animations and fits the description of being a Jedi with god-tier reflexes. Also some people might think it would make slower stances like crossguard op, this wouldn’t be the case because the long wind up animation of crossguard still has to connect to actually do damage. So essentially if you animation cancel the whole time you wouldn’t be doing any damage so it’s mainly useful for dodging and defensive purposes, or to create more useful and creative combo strings
I personally like the cross stance because of its heavy damage output and defensive efficiency but it’s definitely a lot slower so I also used the dual wield sabers as they are one of the most if not the best offense oriented stances but the defense against enemies especially on grand Jedi master is noticeable so switching between those two stances depending on how many enemies you are fighting and they’re skill level makes the combo perfect if you know which stance to use in which scenario
Dual Wield is my go-to: animation cancelling and a strong auto-parry is awesome against melee opponents.
I learned some new combos here. Thanks
I use the Blaster and Crossguard. I find it a perfect balance between quick combat with some distance shots with the blaster, and hard blows with the Crossguard against tougher enemies.
This is so interesting, litteraly watched a video where some guy put dual blade 4 on his list. Shows how versatile this game is in terms of your own preference
I love single blade maxed out with every skill. Now I'm using blaster as a complement w ricochet shot. Perfect for taking out droids or if you just want some quick long range damage
You can dash strike in the air with the single bladed stance. It's much faster than the grounded version. For instance you can jump in any direction and dodge and still fly towards enemies after using the ability. As long as you in the air. It also helps against some huge bosses if you want to use a hit-and-run type of style.
My personal tier list in order from 1st to last: blaster>crossguard>dual wield>single>double. I'll admit I mostly used blaster and crossguard after getting them, occasionally swapping crossguard for dual wield. The other 2 I've only toyed with a bit, so that's partially why they're lower on the list. Single blade air dash is fun though 😂
I also love the holster animations for the double bladed man it’s too satisfying
I’m a Double Blade/Blaster Stance kind of dude sometimes, but a Dual Weild/Crossguard other times
Double blade and blaster for life!
Or at least until I start new game plus...
I really wish that single blade had more combos. Maybe a stutter/pause combo and a longer base combo.
Double bladed is basically a must-have IMO. The ability to hold the deflect button to send all blaster shots back for damage is too useful to not have, and the throw it too good at getting you out of pickles when you’re surrounded
double blade is my favorite to use, and crossguard is great if you have a lot of guarded enemies just rips their block meter apart in no time, were double blade takes a bit of time to reduce that.
The fact that the cross guard is so underrated is crazy. I have one shot bosses with the right perk’s combined.
Single blade and Crossguard are my favorites to run. It reminds me of that Star Wars anime with the kid putting in a rainbow kyber krystal to make his saber more powerful .
I finished the story with single blade and cross guard, feels like a more traditional Jedi way to finishes it. And now I’m looking to have fun on more stances lol
Dont sleep on the force trees btw. So much fun one you have a few stances maxed out. I love grabbing 2 guys and launching them then grab again and make him him use his gun. Def wish i invested more early on Force stuff. Never stale fights once you have maxed out stances.
My favorite one so far is the one with the blaster and the one with the cross guard. You get range with the blaster fast strikes with the saber and powerful strikes woth the cross guard and a lot of defense. Perfect for me. Good for all scenarios basically.
Looks good great video thanks 👍🏻
In Fallen Order. Cal was a more complex fighter. Here are what he used to have: 1.) dash slash 2.) dash front flip slash into backflip 3.) dodge teep kick counter. Basically a much more practical guerrilla tactical fighter
all game long i didn't use the single blade, but eventually at the end it was the sword that i beat the last boss with, its the most balanced one and its the best one for parrying for me on grandmaster with the minimal parry window
I am enjoying the variety. On mew game plus and everytime i come across a save point i change up the stances and his look. It keeps game constantly different and fun.
Blaster stance allows one to perform a cool combo with lightsaber and blaster when pressing square triangle square triangle.
Having just finished my NG+ Grandmaster run with the warrior perk. Double Blades defense is unmatched
I love using the duel weild snd crossgard, using the duel weild to burn through the enemy's block stam and than dealing heavy damage with the crossguard
As a souls strength build, I love the cross guard. But I guess I gotta play more with the dual wield and blaster
honestly it depends on how you play and what dificulty it is. but on higher dificulty I'd really prefer crossguard and double blade. I finish in master dificulty all through out... the blaster is ok but building up your bullets would take time and the saber play is not that good I would say but if you are willing to use force abilities then thats ok. single blade is actually pretty good you just need patience like in crossguard. the dual wield is really good though it's not bad engage to build force then dish out those dancing blades. I don't use the precision parry much. if the double blades final skill was not controlled throw something that deals heavy damage it might be the strongest stance.
The single blade has 1 skill thats overpowered. The jump in air an slam down. It does massive dmg to health an gaurd. A lot of things you can 1 shot by jumping over them an slamming em in the back. Every weapon is good. Depends on play style. Double , single , blaster , duel an last cross is my order.
i been going Blaster and Crossguard. i been enjoying crossguard and its been a reminder to slow down, don't rush it.
One nice thing about the cross guard is that you can often times just break an enemy's guard by just attacking them. It does so much damage that they can't parry you in time
I just love the crossguard stance because of how satisfying each hit is. BUT I really need to start using the bouble blade, thing looks like it rips and I have barely used it
Double blade literally has the propeller darth maul move that attacks through anything and can do some nice damage. I abused that move to no end as it always felt op to me
thanks for the tips boss, i played this upon release on the second highest difficulty and the final boss i couldnt do, im gonna go back for the plat now its graphics are ... mostly improved :P
I use dual wield for close small combat offense cause of its ability to cancel an attack and dodge, and then double blade since it’s good for crowd control with weaker enemies since it has lower power but higher defense than dual wield , but boss fights I like dual wield and cross guard cause I use the dual wield to get hard hits in while dodging but once I break their defense I switch to cross guard and start hitting hard with that while the bosses defense is down , don’t use the other too much but I’ll prob try with them again on next play through
Crossguard is great if you aren't button mashing. If will quickly break through defenses and deplete HP if you are attacking at the right moments. Especially bosses, where you only have time for a couple hits after they stagger, or 1 hit if you make them whiff. Crossguard will provide the most damage per hit in those situations and end the fight sooner.
I love that the pistol one's attacks look like Count Dooku's lightsaber form : Makashi.
I kinda just played through the game with double bladed and cross guard as my back up for tougher enemies. I didn’t even bother with the other stances lol
Just finished ng+ grandmaster last night with blaster class. Just so much fun
Crossguard with Shatter and precision perks is just too good. The running attack is also really fast and good for opening up enemies.
For some reason, my dual wield parry still gets me hit maybe 2/3 of the time. Is there like a set-up time or something? I really wanted to like the dual wield cuz…well it’s flipping dual wielding. Lol but i use blaster and dual blade best depending on the situation.
I run dual wield as my main, and bounce back and forth between double blade and crossguard as my secondary. Just defeated Rayvis last night with the crossguard on Jedi Master difficulty, let me tell you it was not an easy task but I wanted to challenge myself. Rayvis is so erratic but once you learn the patterns of his first and second phase, he's not too bad, just gotta avoid the blaster/rocket combo he uses during phase 2 to overwhelm you.
I’m happy using cross guard and blaster as my stances of choice.
I love all the stances, but my most used stance is the crossguard stance, and my second most used is double-bladed.
I been thinking this for a bit, but the stances seem to borrow from a few of the different forms. Single blade seems like Form 1 based on the way the blade is held. Double blade feels like Form 4 and some Form 3. Crossguard is like Form 5 given the power counterattack nature. Blaster seems like a mix of Form 2 and 6. While Dual Wield is like Forms 6 and 4. Based on the rapid attacks and use of 2 lightsabers.
Dual wield doesn't do enough damage. Its fast and fun but once I got the Blaster stance I used it through the rest of the game. Put the Marksman perk on and its devastating. That point blank counter is so fun lol
This is the only video I've seen with stance switch combos
single blade at the very bottom is crazy, it literally has a strong tool for every situation and is the swiss army knife of the stances, it has no weaknesses especially when you have all the abilities
Everybody’s gangsta until a Jedi pulls out a gun
Why did I think that the faded out gold/yellow circles in those skill trees would eventually unlock later in the game? (I'm happy with the skills trees regardless tho)
Fun fact the dash ability when u use the double bladed lightsaber is actually Darth mauls ability in star wars battlefront 2
A bit different but same concept
I used dual wield since I went double blade for fallen order. Used blaster too because it is new and different. Both were fun. If someone twisted my arm though dual wield and double blade is the way
Dual Stance for bosses/one on one and Double Bladed for ranged/groups. Totally dominated the game with this combo.
im running duel wield as my 1st option and double bladed as my 2nd option it covers almost everthing through out the game :)
My play though I did Single blade and Crossguard. I’m definitely going to try Double blade and Dual for my new game +
Here's my issue personally. I love lore-accurate lightsabers in my games. So I took the purity perk and slapped that on the moment I got it.
When playing with it, since your lightsaber kills almost every enemy except DT droids, heavy mercs, some bounty hunters, and monstrous creatures. There is little point in using slower and higher damage stances. Crossguard basically becomes a liability and purposeful handicap.
Imo, once you unlock purity, all that matters is how quickly you can hit the most targets. Which leaves us with 2 options.
1. Blaster stance which has the ability to 1-shot a majority of enemies and the utility stun option.
2. Dual Blade, because it's AOE is great + solid defense against blasters.
An argument can of course be made for dual wielding and single but they don't quite stack up since Blaster stance is just single with a gun most of the time and it will never really let you down and the dual blade is just more useful as an alt stance when ya dealing with heavy Blaster fire considering a single shot will kill you if you aren't careful.
I like to think I will do a 2nd playthrough with a different stance but I won't lol I use the duel blade 90% of the time and then use double for a large group.
