Tim what a truly exceptional dude you are!!! Amazing back track collection. I only just just stumbled upon them, and NO DOUBT I will be coming back to these for months as my practice tools. I see you were generous enough to list all the software and gear you use in the about. I am really curious to know a few more things, as a (late) aspiring music production hobbyist. - What order do you record/layer? Bass, Drums, Rythm, Keys, Effects? - What plugins/production software do you use? - How many years have you been doing this? I've listened to all the Plini tracks now and the mix is VERY clean, inspiring. Cheers Todd
Thanks so much for the kind words Todd! I really appreciate them! I am so glad you like the tracks and that they will be useful to you! Send me an email at backingtracksbytim@gmail.com and I would be happy to answer your questions! Cheers! 🤘
Thanks man! So glad you love the track! It can be felt either way actually, in 4/4 or 6/4. The quarter note triplets in the lead guitar parts really drive home the 6/4 feeling though for sure. Cheers! 🤘
Great Backing Tracks Tim! I would like something with Major Phrygian, the 5th mode of Harmonic Minor. BTW, I'm trying to support you through Patreon but it's no longer available. Is that right?
Thanks so much Miguel! That is a great idea! I should create some tracks based on the modes of the Harmonic Minor. Thanks so much for wanting to support me on Patreon! I am actually working on transitioning over to a new platform similar to Patreon called Buy Me A Coffee. The platform has a few more features that I think will be useful to me and viewers of the channel. I hope to see you there! I am in the process of adding download links to all of my tracks on there! Cheers! 🤘 www.buymeacoffee.com/coffeefuelsjams
Hey! I think it is 100 BPM. I tapped it out on my metronome but I don't have access to the project file right now. If it is not 100 BPM, it is close to it. 😂🤘
Hearing this one in G# Minor makes sense as G# Aeolian (Natural Minor) is the relative minor of B Major and is the same scale as E Lydian (just starting on G# instead of E)! The same group of notes just approached from different perspectives! 🤘
@@BackingTracksByTim What I mean is I definitely hear G#m as the tonic. I can't seem to manage hearing this as Lydian with E as the tonic. E just never feels home when I improvise over this. Let alone B. So judging from my perception this seems to be in G# minor. Do you hear this as E Lydian?
@@jnkthss6283 Oh I see what you mean, I do hear this as E Lydian. In regards to B Major, I usually put the parent Major scale in my track titles / videos so people who aren't as comfortable with modes can still jam along if they want to. That being said I personally hear this track as an E Lydian. Cheers! 🤘

This almost isn't a backing track, the underlying composition itself is pretty incredible
