I LOVE this video idea!! It combines my two loves: reading and personality tests 😆I'm INTJ and I honestly never would have thought about reading a book like the Three Body Problem, but you've convinced and I'm going to try it out!
I was a Campaigner for most of my student and first years of my working life, but I retook the test recently after being a bit more settled in myself and got the Commander instead! I can’t believe you’re going to inspire me to finally read War and Peace!
I am a mediator (INFP) and my fav read so far this year was To Be Taught If Fortunate by Becky Chambers. Playing in an isolated setting it isn’t chaotic but rather quiet while there’s still things happening, it’s set in space so you can use your imagination and creativity, it centers around human connection and the goal of the main characters is helping to save the human species. So now thinking about it I feel like that’s the perfect pick for this personality type ☺️
What a fascinating topic for a video! I’m on the extreme ends of I, N, and J-but right on the border of F and T. I think I am too T to love fantasy in general, but the journey and relationships of Tolkien definitely work for me. The Three-Body Problem sounds fascinating.
Lots of people think Sherlock holmes comes under the n type but he's definitely an s type. So ISTP would suit him more. Because sensors are really good at working with abstract data like assumptions.
I am Infp, mediator. And I would say, that we are also something from Tolkiens world as Advocates. Actually Tolkien himself was Infp. maybe one personality type is Lord of the rings and other is Silmarillion. Middle earth is more grounded, simple, naive. Silmarillion is about Elven and gods world, harsh, truthful, painful, analytical.
What a great idea! This One Sky Day is such a great pick for you! I think I might be a Protagonist and I’ve never read the Will of the Many so I’ll have to get it now.
INFP here! Watership Down is one I have yet to read but I'm interested! I would say some good INFP books include Harry Potter, The Giver, and Howl's Moving Castle.
I'm an INTP. I could see myself trying Sherlock Holmes. Mostly I read nonfiction, especially history, and sort of the cozy end of fantasy. I like the thinking aspect of history and the creativity of fantasy.
I get a different type every time, today was INTP but I’ve gotten every letter option at least once 😅 so I don’t really take much stock in the types but I do love a theme for a rec list lol (I do think Sherlock books are fun though)
INFJ -LOTR is my number one fantasy series, legit learned elvish, went full hobbit
Haha I love that so much!!

Yes true! I suppose I was more thinking of the nature of the book and what an INTP would enjoy, rather than Sherlock himself!
