Beauty is of course always in the eyes of the beholder but many of us due to social media and other forms of media we consume are told that being lighter/fair skin, having perfect skin without any acne scars, and being "beautiful" is the hstandard. By having increased beauty expectations it makes it harder for some of us to love ourselves and feel good about our physical appearance. Loving myself for who I am and how I look is still something I struggle with everyday but your words are very accurate that we can't believe everything we see online and also we can't let it takeaway from our self worth. We are all valuable in our own way :)

I personally don’t think there are ugly people, due to the fact that our brain has a certain perception of beauty that is portrayed on internet and TV. And if someone thinks they are ugly, trust me you’re not. Just find your spark and your own standard, and don’t care about people’s opinion. Also remember, everyone who is obsessed with trends/standard looks may not be true to themselves and rarely can find true identity (at least in my perspective). Cuz standards kill individuality and make everyone a copycat. Lover yourself ❤
