Unique Medieval Castle / French Chateau / Chatelet
This castle is a very old French Chateau located in France ( btw, Oubliette is not the real name)
It's a a historic and strategic chatelet or fortress, somewhere in the Loire region. It was founded around 1194 just before the 3rd Crusade. It has its own chapel after the gate, which one can still use for marriage officially. Going medieval so to speak.
Privately held
It's not a public place and privately owned. Therefor i share some short French chateau impressions of this impressive medieval castle /French chateau, with an almost 900 year history.
For Sale
This chateau is for sale but not actively. Of course you'll have to bring enough funds. It comes with a total of 75 ha forest and land. ( 750.000m2 )
Summer Wine:

Oubliette:
An ‘Oubliette’ ( from the verb ‘Oublier’: to forget ) is basically a dungeon in which they dropped people to be ‘forgotten’. In the towers of the gate the remains of at least one ‘Oubliette’ is still visible... the other one has become a luxury bathroom....if these prisoners, destined to die, only could have seen the future...
