Don’t really remember what I charged to the exact penny. Couldn’t be less $299 all lost keys. Take to account a lot of times price points can be based on quantity of cars given at one acct. or if the customer want aftermarket keys or refurbished, or even new from retail dealer. Anyway retail cost no less that $350
With the newer models, Chrysler has added something called a security gateway module. Which won't let you communicate with any computer on the car unless you use the original dealer tool. They bypass it by connecting their tool in another place that won't need the original tool to add or erase keys.

Yes. You can. Especially if the key was programmed prior to the same car.
