Thanks bud - hard list to make really because there are a ton of great options out there. I did want to make this around what I had knowledge of, rather than guessing around. Hoping to expand my knowledge more this year and hopefully I can update this list 🙌🏻
@@OkieOutdoorAdventures I enjoyed both of them, John. Too hard on yourself. I cannot fish these baits cause I am a bank fisherman but I find them fascinating
@@shannonkirby9295 so, the baits I listed here was with bank fishermen in mind. Specifically the Gantarel and Antidote would do very well from the bank. If you had a slow sinking bullshad it would do well too. Honestly I think the only bait I’d be concerned throwing from the bank would be the magdraft.
@@shannonkirby9295 I probably could have been more clear there too. I wanted to highlight some of my personal favorite “all purpose” baits. Might throw a video together bank fishing with them to illustrate that better.
Welcome back fella! Thanks for the great video! I got a Dobyns FR805SB over winter, so looking to dabble a little. Only own about 3-4 real swim baits right now, hoping to learn/grow.
Anything I can do to help, let me know. Best advice I can offer is to stick with it. You won’t get bit a lot most of the time, but when you do it’s going to rock you!
Hey John - Follow up question. What colors would you recommend in each of the baits you discussed? If I'm gonna drop $$ on a swimbait, I want the right color! Also given the choice (like a Bull Shad or others), do you prefer a floating, slow sinking, or fast sinking? You know what type/color water I fish of course!
Good question - antidote: bread or any of the shad colors. Mag draft: albino pearl or ayu. Gantarel: baby bass or your preferred bluegill. Burrito: goby redhead or golden shiner. Bullshad: shad 😂
@@OkieOutdoorAdventures thanks! I edited in a follow up question before I saw you already answered. In the models that give options, what's best: float, slow sink, fast sink?
Awesome
Great baits for sure

Great video, bud
Thanks 🙌🏻
Hey, John, looking forward to this
Hope it meets your expectations. I wasn’t happy with what you watched yesterday so this is basically a do over 😂

Haven’t seen you on here in a while! Glad you’re still on the tube! I love the video quality
Thanks! Deer season had me busy 😂

Nice glide bait in the first minute 🧐
Lol! I probably need to give that back 😂😂
very good video! One of my favs is the ganteral very versatile bait
Thank you! It absolutely is, I need to get a couple other colors too.
@@OkieOutdoorAdventures I have had a lot of luck on the baby bass color
@@BrownBaitCo it’s a favorite for sure
I bought a 6th Sense Tracer (bought into the hype). What's your thoughts on that one? I've thrown it a few times, but no bites on it yet.
My initial thoughts are it looks really good. I’ve not been able to get my hands on one yet but I’m excited to check it out.

What no welcome to or welcome back intro. Hopefully I get my first big bait fish this year
New year new me?! 😂
Just have to commit yourself to throwing them. It’s arguably the most frustrating way to fish but man the reward is so worth it!
Lolol call him out Will!!!
Hush
@@OklahomasWorstAngler I'm just wondering if he can't match your intro. Haha
Deadstick the bullshad....🤯
Why not
May not be the exact method/term I was looking for but just meant let it drop as it still has action and then do your thing
Whoop whoop I'm first lol
Best 🙌🏻
