You're love for the drt baits, the in depth detail on each mode, utilizing weights, tails etc is why I have become obsessed with drt baits. Waiting for my ghost in the mail now and I'm beyond excited. I really like the tiny klash but the the klash 9 glides a bit better, especially with the Yoko Yoko technique.
@@crazybassfisher thanks dude! Even if you have an update could be needed. Another good idea for us noobs would be a tiny klash and k9 master class. All the options/styles and when/how to use them. I know that's a subject you've touched on a few years back
I can see your point about having to buy a new lip if you crack or lose one but I think there is a flip side to that. Look at some off you more expensive crankbaits. Break a lip on one of those and that lure is over. At least with this program you can still have the lure without shelling out another 100+ dollars. Just my 2 cents.
Great information as always Jeff. Thanks to your video being dropped today was able to find out about the K-9 drop as well. I appreciate you sharing the knowledge. Stay blessed bro.
Your awesome Jeff, appreciate your dedication and time you commit for these videos, got a question, been fishing the tiny klash for 4years, I've caught so many fish ,incredible bait, caught mostly in tail down glide mode. When fishing the lip in one side I smooth and the other has ridges, I've fished both ways but is there a wrong and write, haven't been able to tell a difference
Hi Geoffrey, thanks for the video really enjoyed it. Going to snag a Klash 9 now. What lb line would you recommend? My sb rod currently running 20lb invisx, not sure if thats ok
Awesome breakdown 🙌🏾I love both my SlideSwimmer 250’s & K9’s when one doesn’t produce I switch to the other and usually works out in my favor . One more thing that wasn’t mentioned is the spring in the SS 250 is something the K9 doesn’t have that absolutely makes them big bass go Nutz and commit when all you get is followers that other wise weren’t
Interesting, I still don’t know how much that spring effects my bites yet, hard to judge when I normally just get bites on both the new and old 250’s. Maybe I’ll try experimenting more and seeing if that spring does anything after all!
@@crazybassfisher thanks for the info. I listened to a podcast with BB and he mentioned using smaller hooks. Although the chances of losing fish were higher, he said it was worth the higher probability of getting bit.
Got my klash 9 joythief today for retail…these thing r like jordans now a days…had to wait for the drop…had to b fast for check out before u get cart jack…that loading arrow was forever bruh…man took too many L’s…finally got the W
At those insane prices I watched this for the same reason I organize my tacklebox....pure entertainment. :-) thanks for posting what you know about these. hmmm 4 of these or an Active Target sonar for the same price...hmmmm
Geoff - Butch Brown has a great UA-cam video on how he converts new style Deps SS 250's to OG style; may make it a little cheaper and easier than locating OG's - he is the king of 250's!
Yeah, I’ve seen his method on it, just seems like a lot of work personally. Filling the broken K9’s would work but too much of a hassle in my personal opinion

I love your thumbnails! Freakin Awesome! But better yet is your content, your a true Master of the Swim Bait & a Mentor for our Community! ❤
God I wish DRT would release those OG Rainbows again. My favorite pattern they’ve ever made.
Great video buddy, I absolutely love throwing glide baits here in my Massachusetts/Rhode Island area 🔥🔥
It’s sick that those fish up there crush glides too!
@@crazybassfisher I caught a 4.75 on a Gan Craft 303 I won from Oliver Nye 👊
Love the channel dude. Can you do a video on your top 10 swimbaits? Maybe 5 hard bait and 5 soft bait?
Thanks for watching! Yeah, I’m not quite sure if I have done that video before or not but if I haven’t, I might make one!

I'm surprised by your lack of subs Geoff.. Always great videos

Ever use or find any big dockrat baits. Some pretty big. Saw a video on them but cant find any.

Jointed Claws 230s are still my favorites.
They are definitely underrated baits that a lot of guys don’t understand yet, which makes them being available not an issue haha

This might sound like a dumb question but would you guys recommend buying off eBay?
What’s your go to rod for the deps 250 ?
Do you use snaps Geoff? If so, which ones do you trust your hinkle with?
Yo, Geoff... what hooks do you use on the 250? I just picked up my first one with the Bonheur. Curious on what size and brand to use with it.
I’m currently fishing small hooks, size 2 owner st 45’s but I use to use size 1 decoy quad hooks. Both great hooks in my opinion

How do I start with a Drt? Low flout or high flout. Can you explain how you use the different models/colors ect
Lo float.
Cool video , not a big bait guy though. Could you tell me some of the better 1o/z class you have used. Always found your videos very helpful .
The smaller gan craft and Deps glides are really good, 5” Magdraft is dope too
Banger. Get back up to Ontario for some musky bro
I need to get back on LOTW again for muskie! Didn’t get to fish for muskie this year which was a bummer!
@@crazybassfisher try Eagle Lake in the NW, Ottawa River, or Georgian Bay. Too much great water to cover up here lol.
Great video! Thanks for the tips!
Thanks for watching 🙏
Klash 9 is a giant crank bait, with the ability to deadwalk. Doesn't glide well without a ton of input
Interesting take, I think it glides extremely effortlessly but yes, it can also act as a big crankbait
Have you tried any of the 6th sense glides?
Do you have any honest opinions?
I haven’t, no, but I hear the draw is pretty legit overall.

he fills them with foam and replaces the hinge wire with screws - come to think of it, maybe you could repair the Klash 9's by filling them with foam?
