I never knew this existed until 30 seconds ago. I now have 2 in my shopping cart. Stop doing this, I have other bills to pay I can't keep buying tools
Get your priorities straight....
Tools first, always!
@@Petesworkshop2225 Lol I like your style.
Mr. Millis is an enabler and a half ! That said he has good taste in tools !
klein makes a 14 in 1 screwdriver thats the same thing without the locking bit collar extension.
@@galivinn9133 Klein has jacked their act up lately , recent products I’ve got from them ( mostly pliers ) had really good action right out of the packaging . I went off them a few years ago , after several pliers I bought were as tight as the ass of the proverbial Duck . One pair of 9” Journeyman Sidecutters is still unuseably tight to this day !
Damnit man I just paid off the card I'm now using to buy this amazing hybrid of awesomeness, damnit man.
I am a big wera guy but as soon as Klein started selling the flip socket bit separate from the handle this was my first move great minds think alike
He sold the whole game out 🙏🏽😭🙌🏽✅🦾💯
You're the mvp in this comment section. Just saved me 20 bucks
WERA tools are excellent. Been using them for years. Joker wrenches, ratchets, Ratchet/hammer combos, socket sets, Allen/HEX/TORX/STAR wrenches.
I have their allen wrenches. They are the best. I have a lot of their insulated tools also. How do you like the wrenches. I thought they was shaped weird but are they worth the money?
I run that in my Wera ratcheting stubby. Gives me 6 screw/nut drivers. It's a go to.
dang it, now I'm going be itching to buy one! I was fine until I saw your comment about a ratcheting option.
I have an extending shaft, too.
Badum tiss
“eleven thirty-secondths” imperial is such a ridiculous system lmao
Imperial is only silly to people that don't have a flag on the moon !
I happened to own both of these products when I first saw this video posted months ago and I thought…genius. For most small tasks I will grab this and my 8V cordless DeWalt or my 12V impact and I generally will have the bits I need.
If I need more bits, I just grab the Tool-Check. Your video about this is perfect for the Veto bag. I definitely need to visit the truck less after getting more organized.
I'd prob change it a bit to include hex, ECX, schrader and smaller Phillips for HVAC. That would be almost an entire service bag in one regarding driving tools!
That’s true! Great thoughts there 😁🔥🔧
I didn't know they made 1/4 Hex Schrader valve tools but that makes perfect sense, IF (big if) I ever get my bicycle up and running again I might get one xD
Very cool ! I always carry a Wera “ James Bond “ model as a backup ! The driver comes in an iteration without the Rapidaptor bit ( magnet & spring only ) . I prefer that iteration for tight spots . That said the PB is main Driver carry , so many choices !
Standardization is magic folks. Support your local standardized regulations today!
Yeah ok totally real, not a government owned and operated drone in disguise doing surveillance on the unsuspecting populace, living bird!! Anything you say!! Of course I’ll listen to a bird!! You guys are definitely still alive and thriving and didn’t die off back in the 60’s!!!
Fr, I have the Klein pocket driver that uses 1/8” which doesn’t fit the normally used 4mm ones that are on ifixit tools. Having everything either 4mm or 1/4” would be so nice, as there’s a use for 4mm still in small stuff. Got other 4mm stuff but no 1/8” so boo Klein for that one and they totally could have made the pocket driver shaft be 1/4” when pulled out but didn’t. Still is good tho lol
@@avadavis4768 I also have an iFix full set, and there's one of the bits which is actually an adapter for a different std size. Look it up.
75$ later. Now a happier man🤣
I cannot wait for them to do the flip bits in metric
Just get a Wera Tool Check, combine it with the Kraftform Kompakt and you've got your metric sockets on a full size screwdriver :)
I love every wera - wish I could afford them all! This is a great tip, thank you!
Nice! I just use the Klein 14-in-1 with the Klein nut driver set shown. More bits, and you're still able to adjust the shaft.
That's exactly the one he showed. I mean the only reason would be if you liked the Wera handle better but for me, I used the 14-in-one and the bit driver set on one driver like you did.
I like using the Klein flip sockets with the Wera Zyklop Pocket Ratchet
How is the magnetic retention on it?
just need them in metric.
The extending shaft 👀😂
😎🔥
Yes what about it why are you talking about me
That’s why it’s sometimes called the “ James Bond “ driver !
I keep coming back to this because I never forget how genius th8s setup is! I am always finding myself needing the flip sockets, but I can't justify the cost... May finally bite the cost.
I do residential hvac and this tool has been awesome I randomly run into some one off furnaces that have different sized nuts holding the blowers in and this has always comes in clutch in those situations! Also awesome that you can just throw it right on your impact.
Great idea! Unfortunately I couldn't find this Klein Tools sockets on metric system. For those outside of the US, the imperial system is less common to use.
I too have an extending shaft
Is there a metric version?
Nice, I still use the klein one for the hvac tips but this looks good too
Thanks man. Just what I was looking for
I just so happen to carry both of those in my pouch, so you’ve made me some room. Thanks for the tip, bub
Very nice!
Very Cool setup
That is awesome. Gotta get it.
Klein also comes with the handle. They have a 15-in-1 screwdriver just like that too
What a beauty of a hand tool.
I've been running mine with the stubby version of the extending shift. Works fantastic.
Been using that Wera (and a lot of other Wera) for a whole now. Guess I'll bbq getting that, because it's brilliant.
See I told you back when you made the video on the Klein the Were handle was the better way to go😂
Had this in my cart and checked UA-cam to see if this setup would work. I guess I wasn't the only one who thought this up!
Thanks!! I finally got around to using my new screwdriver 🪛. The bayonet extended just fine. Retracting not so much! I read the instructions, big fan of instructions!, and still it would not retract. Watching your video confirms what I read and thought I was supposed to do. Maybe because mine is new I REALLY had to mash the green sleeve before it clicked back. Thanks
Been running this for 6 months, but with the ratchet... LOVE IT
That's stupid smart; good move! Love it
Just bought this two days ago great tool!
I have the Klein and I agree that it does not hold the bits well, which is really annoying. I considered trying to improve the clamping function of the bit holders, maybe by adding some superglue to decrease the diameter.
I also had the same Wera as you do, but it broke, and I expect yours will too. Its not built for high torque. And if used with nuts it will experience quite some torque. I was surprised how little it took to break mine.
Mastercraft makes similar drivers, with interchangeable long bits having markings for different length, but not enough of them (along a limited head shape set), and it can't accommodate standard smaller bits. Nice! I'll get that Klein adapter, thank you.
Prefer the klein handle but to each their own
Does this fit on to the Milwaukee ratcheting screw driver? The whole hex shaft to be exact
With hex bits being mostly standardized I don't see why it wouldn't work unless it just has a shallow bit holder.
Love THAT!
I approve of the Klein hex socket screwdriver, it’s amazing.
Thank you
Nice compact little set up.
Imperial measurements never cease to amaze me...11/32..7/16...like what
I've been using the Klein with a ratcheting handle. Great tool.
Klein has gotta step it up! Wera is kicking their butts!
Damn, this is genius. Also, Wera is actually pronounced "vera". Gotta love those Germans.
Cool, neat tip!
Now you just need to mod the detents and the length of the Klein shaft so that its a perfict match for the wera handle.
AWESOME!!!!
Outstanding 🎄
I found WERA gear a few years ago. I just have the tools I need with the extra stuff that comes with them. Not as pricey as fapp off but just as good and in some ways better.
Not sure what ima do with the klein handle now but I love this
I just did this the other day thought it was pretty cool
Do they make a metric version? (Working on vehicles)
There are no 'links in the description' for this. Can we get those links? :D
Yes they are 😅 I just now checked. It’s the three dots on the screen that open the description on shorts
@@MillisConstruction ppl don’t realize descriptions exist for shorts because they didn’t for ages and it’s not remotely intuitive
Great combo! Thanks! I wonder if Wera has a similar ratcheting driver that would also work?
I like it paired with the husky 13-1 ratcheting screwdriver
I'm planning to try it with the Vessel handle. Just waiting on package.
The 14-in-1 HVAC Klein tool has more storage for more modularity. Definitely keeps the bags light.
Frankenstein Driver! I Love It!!!
Good tip
Dude check out the klein 14-1 HVAC tool . The hvac tool is impact rated too and holds 13 bits in handle
I use that Klein telescopic socket bit with the Dewalt ratcheting telescopic screw driver
Madness! Exactly my kind of madness!
Individual size, completely hollow through the handle, and magnetic ones are the best hands down. All purpose. Not just bolts
Nice!!
Klein also has a screwdriver like this that has an extending shaft so if you like having the same brand have tools, you can just buy the Klein extending shaft screwdriver
I think in similar ways lol, I use the bits from the Milwaukee ratcheting multi screwdriver inside a pic quic
Heres my million dollar question. Does the klein shaft lock securely into the wera bit holder shaft?
i wish they made those in metric sizes ..
Will this work with the Wera ratcheting stubby?
They have a Klein adjustable and I’ve never had a problem
Now Lowe’s sells the Klein impact socket set without the handle fyu
This looks like an awesome addition to my toolbox.... Where's the link or where can I find one¿?
Came here to comments for same reason
Been wanting to get on the Wera bandwagon for a while now...
Plenty room on the wagon 😎🔥🔧
I been doing that same thing
I like this but I just about never use screwdrivers anymore. My milwaukee 1/4 driver has 3 speeds with a variable speed trigger. Ive got bit holders on all of my drivers and an assortment in my belt holster. Makes replacing outlets and switches a breeze! (When I'm doing that sort of thing)
Nice
Klien makes a hvac screwdriver that does that
Cool. Didn’t know that.
Klein ceo sweating bullets 😂
The best
Does wera still make a handle / long rapidaptor like that
I use the socket set on my Klein 14/1 bit set for the same results
2 things in the shopping cart, thanks t you lol
I like the Klein grip way better
Which model is this? (The wera)
Hmm, I thought I read about it in the business journal, maybe check with Alex.?
You can do the same with the Klein Tools 32303 And you'll have all the screwdriver bits and dice together. 🤷🏻♂️
I'm confused... How do those sockets work.. if they just slide right down the shaft.. I'm confused
are the they magnetic sockets?
Does that wera tool ratchet or is it fixed ?
My favourite has an 18v battery attached to it.😎
I find that the Klein bits are kinda meh. The magnet on them broke after a few uses. I've had Malcos bits for like 2-3 years still going strong. Outside of this issue they are a neat product, love the idea.
Damn…wish my shafted extended that much
Does it have a ratcheting mechanism?
