(Nothing proprietary that I can see about that style btw.) But this is a pretty cool idea and I like the flexibility you demonstrated here. I'm adding it to my shopping list. BTW, Klein makes double-ended ECX bits - I checked before buying my 11-in-1. It's actually the standard single ECX bits that I can't find easily. My 14-in-1 has an ECX2, but not a 1. The only short ones I've found are the Milwaukee Shockwave ones.
Yeah same here. I buy a small Milwaukee set of bits that has them in it… they are the only ones I have found so far as well. Klein is the same for me. Nearly every old screwdriver I have is Klein, and they are what I remember as a kid. This 11-1 is a little different than the rest and I find it to be the most useful so far… but the other ones as a screwdriver work just as well. This one is just set up knowing most people carry an impact/drill these days. The being able to make your own screwdriver is what I think is great. Appreciate you watching and your thoughts.
Dude - check this out: You can buy the Klein 14-in-1 Adjustable Length driver (part #32303) OR (the HVAC one is 32304) which has screw driver bits in the handle THEN swap out it's adjustable length stem for the impact sockets from the 7-in-1 (part #32900) And you've got 2 tools in 1 handle!! You can even by the sockets alone (part #32907) if you want to save a little money
Yeah I run that screwdriver that way sometimes. One of my first videos was about the Klein Super-screwdriver. It is a great all in one when you go into places that you don’t want to carry many tools (crawlspaces, attics). Appreciate the suggestion 👍👍
Yeah that was what intrigued me too. It is a screwdriver handle I can leave as is… but also empty it out and build specific screwdrivers for repetitive tasks. I probably won’t put the double ended bits in the impact for heavy use… just weird light stuff when in a pinch. Much easier to find replacements of regular bits and drivers for heavy work than the pieces out of this screwdriver. Appreciate you watching 👍
This is like the multi driver 5 in 1 / 6 in 1 bit that Klein made awhile back but looks like it’ll work better now, the old bits would fall out if you torqued on them at all.
I never bought that one. I bought the Dewalt version called the Flip and Switch. It wasn’t meant to be impact rated but it would do the same thing. The bits typically stayed in the fasteners. Hopefully this one holds up better… time will tell. We won’t know till we test it for a little while.
@@davidbetancourt9041 yeah that one would work in your impact as long as you have a double ended bit. The bonus for the Klein is that you can put in in the Screwdriver handle or your impact… But That one could be useful for drilling and driving though. It also made me realize that a double ended bit in my Klein makes it more useful too. Appreciate the suggestion 👍👍
Yeah the concept of this one is pretty nice… and the rest of my 11-1’s have held up really well, can’t imagine this one won’t either. Thanks for watching 👍
@@Environmenthrall you tell Home Depot to send me a check 😂 I think you will like it. If you like 11-1 type screwdrivers already, there is nothing to “not like” about this one.
Although I do not trust that multi-element tools, it looks interesting. Sort of a trivia. Here in Poland in the 80s most of the screwdrivers that had plastic handles (there were quite many tools with wooden handles too) were made out of that yellow, translucent material. And they were usually very low quality. And even to this day tools with that type of handle are not associated with high quality.
I normally have not had any problems with any Klein Screwdrivers. Some of their bit holing ones (The one I use for Super Screwdriver, The Ratcheting Screwdriver with similar style) have not been real great over time. Not horrible, but not great. They are all mostly "newer" tools... so my hope is it's not a trend towards the future. But their 11-1 type like this and just dedicated screwdrivers, I normally use the handles until the bits wear out. I have some old 11-1 handles laying around the house that are pretty old. (They are missing some bits) I would like WERA to have something like this with Laser Engraved bits... or just laser sell engraved bits. The screwdrivers I have with those tips... the tips can't be beat (that's just my opinion)
@@MORGANSMaintenance I'm not saying that Klein Tools are low quality. It's just that colour bringing rather not good memories and connotations. Anyway. Merry Christmas to you and all your family. Thank you for your effort with the channel. It's a real pleasure to watch your videos.
@@Stefan_Kawalec I knew that’s what you were saying 👍 Merry Christmas to you as well! It’s been a real pleasure getting to know you in the last year… look forward to what’s ahead.
I know what you mean, as I’ve seen so many drivers with that color handle that would literally crumble if you ever torqued on them. Klein is way different. I’ve got my dad’s old Klein nut drivers and screwdrivers, some older than me, and in my experience, they are some of the best as far as longevity and quality. Of course, you pay for it, but Klein is a good investment as far as tools.
@@choccolocco I know that Klein product should be ok, even with that yellow plastic. But a long time impression is a long time impression. Can't help it. BTW, those flint artefacts you're finding on your channel are very interesting. I didn't realise that there are so many of them. Here in Europe they're much harder to find, because our land is much more processed and dug over.
Yeah I’m not sure if it is, it’s the same color but it may not be. I guess you could do that to make your bit longer but to be safe I would just remove my bit/bit holder from that piece and put it in my impact.
They at least give you one spot on this one to add any bit you want. You can pick up some double sided bits that work, but I’m not sure I’ve seen a Pozidrive set
I originally saw it on Facebook Marketplace, which let me know it existed. I ended up getting it off eBay. I don’t believe they sell it new… I think it was a promotion.
I believe Milwaukee’s does… not 100% sure but 97.6%… I bought me some of these to put in mine.. amzn.to/3iwPfrf Says they aren’t available right now but I think Home Depot may ship them too. You are right though… I am surprised Klein doesn’t put it in from the get go since they are more geared towards Electricians.
The flip socket was the same way when it came out. Maybe Klein has a deal with them to release a tool for so many days through them prior to releasing to other stores. I bought mine through Home Depot… but it shipped directly through Klein.
They make a ratcheting version now, it's even better and compatible with the 1/4 pass through socket set. The socket set extension snaps into the handle and works as a nut driver for all the sockets and bits.
@@MORGANSMaintenance I bought the 1/4 and 3/8 drive pass through socket sets, but only carry the 3/8 in my tool bag. I don't really need the bits in the 1/4 drive set, and the 3/8 goes all the way up to 3/4 socket, the 1/4 only goes to 9/16. I don't need the extra weight of the 1/4 drive set.
@@MORGANSMaintenance Have you checked out the Trucker's Friend? It's a demo/emergency tool that is available on Amazon. It's US made and has a lifetime guarantee. I leave it in my car and have used it a surprising number of times. It's great for demo work and for doing all sorts of things when camping. It's a solid pry bar. The axe head was pretty dull when I got it, but after a few minutes with a file, it's super sharp.
I think is a really good version of the 11-1… time will tell on how it hold up. Being able to build my own flip screwdriver for specific jobs is what sold me. Thanks for watching and subscribing 👍
@@MORGANSMaintenance You're building your own flip screwdriver thing is the one that got me I just bought a whole bunch of clientools for Christmas and also do tool review videos on dewalt and Milwaukee as well on my channel
It’s definitely the best 11-1 version (at first glance) I have seen. As a screwdriver It will surely hold up as well with it being impact rated, but time will tell on how well the bits and things hold up in your impact. I typically won’t use these types of bits in my impact for heavy use/torque, more in a pinch. If I’m doing heavy repetitive work I will put in a more easily replaced bit and bit driver in my impacts… but it is nice to be able to do it with this when you need it, or smaller tasks. Not as many nut driver sizes as the flip socket and not being magnetic hurts it a little… but it does have the 3 main sizes I use. With the options of swapping things out… there are enough slots to for sure build a screwdriver with the bits you use most. I’ll be doing a lot of trial and error with different combos over the next few weeks but really the nice thing about it is the handle and that piece. I can leave it as is, or I can swap stuff around and build a screwdriver for every job with whatever works best.
Lol…I know you will. I too have always strived to find the perfect screwdriver. I’m headed to HD this morning to pick it up. I like that the handle is smaller than the nut driver impact. By the way my wife really doesn’t like me watching your channel, because I’ve acquired even more tools since I’ve been following you.😂

@@darrencampbell8817 I know… they must have some deal with Home Depot to be sold in their stores they get first dibs… but to not have it on their own website??? 🤷♂️
I know… you Metric guys get the shaft on a lot of tools. I only run into them occasionally, but you would think companies would realize they are missing out on an entire segment of the population… that and most of us would buy both versions if we needed it or not 😂
Did you know that the screwdriver is the third most used tool in the average American home. A hammer is the second most used tool, and the most used tool in the average American home is the butter knife.
I can see the hammer… but would have never guessed a butter knife 😂 These 11-1 type of screwdrivers are the ones I keep in my house, the cup holder in my truck, and any other quick grab spot. Great for when you don’t 100% know what you are about to deal with.
I’ve never used their warranty so that’s good to know. Some people say they take theirs into Home Depot and just swap stuff. I’ve never done it… and to be honest based on my experience of returns I find that hard to believe. Would be nice.
@@branned that stinks… you would think companies would know by now that good customer service is what keeps customers. A good or bad experience is what makes someone either a customer for life or a never buyer. Hopefully I’ll never have to use the warranty. I’ve never tried Milwaukees yet either. Ridgid is the only company I had a bad experience with so far. The best is the ole tried and true Harbor Freight. If only all warranties worked like that. 😂
@@MORGANSMaintenance Craftsman is the best Warranty I have used (online) not Lowes! Others include Performance Tool (PT), Husky online (not at Home Depot), Proto, Stanley online, K-D Tools/Gearwrench.
I prefer dedicated screwdrivers when I’m working specific jobs myself… it is easier/faster to swap screwdrivers out of a pouch than to swap bits around in these sometimes. I like these screwdrivers in my bags for service work, in an attic, or in a crawlspace. Less tools to lose and I have more options in case I run into something weird. I get what you are saying for sure 👍
I am very disappointed in Klein. I definitely won’t be purchasing anymore of their “multi tools”. I purchased both the Klein HVAC 14-in-1 and the Klein 7-in l-one impact flip socket. Neither of these tools are game changers. The HVAC tools come off of the storage slots and all fall down into the handle. The 7in1 rubber handle spins when gripping it to turn and the magnet on the tip comes out with the fastener. Theses definitely are not tradesman tools for a guy that uses them daily. Maybe they are more suited for a homeowner or DIYer
I have heard several people having problems with their magnets.. mine have not came off yet, but I also still use MALCO’S quite a bit. I generally use the Kleins as screwdrivers and impact bits in a pinch. Stinks you are having problems with yours. The only one I have been disappointed in is the Magnetic 11-1, but only because I feel it’s not magnetic enough.
There is a GAME CHANGER chapter that you could have skipped ahead to watch… I like to do that because I feel like being able to add chapters to videos is another Game Changer that separates my channel from some others. Thanks for watching and taking the time comment 👍

Hello Morgan's Maintenance
I just found your channel and subscribed. Thank you for giving me another option!
I really appreciate that so much.
You are welcome, thank you for finding me 😂
Havent seen this yet. Thanks I'll be buying it today
I think it’s pretty good… nice upgrade from their original 11-1’s
Appreciate you watching and commenting 👍
Dude - check this out:
You can buy the Klein 14-in-1 Adjustable Length driver (part #32303) OR (the HVAC one is 32304) which has screw driver bits in the handle
THEN swap out it's adjustable length stem for the impact sockets from the 7-in-1 (part #32900)
And you've got 2 tools in 1 handle!!
Cool ideas!
Appreciate that 👍
Slowly catching up on a bunch of your videos since recently finding your channel
I appreciate that… don’t watch too many in one day… you will get sick of watching me 😂
I live my 7 in 1, couple it with a small bit set, and it’s perfect for the vehicle. The only drivers I like better are my Dotties.
I haven’t used any Dotties. Will do some reading up on… thanks 👍
Wasn't real interested until you showed the little trick with the Malco flip driver, might be worth a shot. Thanks for the heads up
Yeah that was what intrigued me too.
I was completely out and figured hey, let me at least check out the “Game Changer”. I didn’t even finish the video before I ordered one.
@@JoshMurphyD 😂. Glad you stuck around.
I'd buy it today if those reversible sockets were available in metric sizes.
Yeah I hear that from a lot of people on many tools… I’m really surprised more companies don’t offer in both… people would buy them.
I plan to pick this up asap!
If you like 11-1’s I think it’s a good one at first glance… everyone I’ve showed it to in person has said, “I’m going to get one”
Great video. This is a must have for me
I’m really liking mine so far. Best version of an 11-1 I’ve had yet. 👍
This is exactly what I was looking for, great info!!
Appreciate that… thanks for watching and taking the time to comment 👍
I own one. My only wish is they had a t 25 double sided bit with it. It's handy as all get out other wise.
Yeah I run into so many random Torx bits it’s always hard to have the “right one” on you. I catch many T10,15,20, & 25.
We won’t know till we test it for a little while.
wish it somehow had magnets though, I love this 11-1.
Yeah I use magnetic nut drivers much more often than hollow ones… I throw a malco in 1/2 this screwdriver pretty often when I use it.
Great channel bro! Catching up on ur videos! The game changer exist from a non brand! Ebay
Appreciate it. What is the tool called on EBay?
Hope its this one! Let me know what u think pls
That middle peace , what is the thread for?
I never paid much attention to it. Nothing that I know of, may just be part of their manufacturing process
In that center piece that you discuss towards the end, there are threads on each side. Do you know what those are for?
I have no idea, unless it’s just for the tooling for the manufacturing process 🤷♂️
One found its way into my shopping cart before the end of this video.
👍. If you like 11-1 type screwdrivers… I think you will like this one
I think I'm loving it
I think it’s the best 11-1 on paper I’ve had… time will tell in durability. Surely with it being impact rated it will be.
Thanks for commenting 👍
Very well done, Klein!
Yeah the concept of this one is pretty nice… and the rest of my 11-1’s have held up really well, can’t imagine this one won’t either.
Thanks for watching 👍
Great walkthrough 👍
Thank you, I really appreciate that 👍
@@MORGANSMaintenance it convinced me to pick one up tomorrow 😆
@@Environmenthrall you tell Home Depot to send me a check 😂
I think you will like it.
(They are missing some bits)
I would like WERA to have something like this with Laser Engraved bits... or just laser sell engraved bits.
@@Stefan_Kawalec I knew that’s what you were saying 👍
Merry Christmas to you as well!
Here in Europe they're much harder to find, because our land is much more processed and dug over.
cool, if you use a double sided bit in one end you can use it in a drill with that middle section, but is that joint in the middle impact rated?
Yeah I’m not sure if it is, it’s the same color but it may not be.
I guess you could do that to make your bit longer but to be safe I would just remove my bit/bit holder from that piece and put it in my impact.
I don't know why Klein doesn't include a Pozidriv bit set in their multidrivers. Most of the terminal strips and contactors are using Pozidriv screws.
They at least give you one spot on this one to add any bit you want. You can pick up some double sided bits that work, but I’m not sure I’ve seen a Pozidrive set
Where did you get that coffee cup?! I want one
I originally saw it on Facebook Marketplace, which let me know it existed. I ended up getting it off eBay. I don’t believe they sell it new… I think it was a promotion.
I wish one of these multi tool screwdrivers came with ECX bits
I believe Milwaukee’s does… not 100% sure but 97.6%…
I bought me some of these to put in mine.. amzn.to/3iwPfrf
Says they aren’t available right now but I think Home Depot may ship them too.
You are right though… I am surprised Klein doesn’t put it in from the get go since they are more geared towards Electricians.
@@MORGANSMaintenance Thanks for the reply.
@@geteducatedbyTed 👍
Great vid, HVAC/R guy here
Appreciate it. I use this with a bit driver and a 1/4 & 5/16 Malco quite often.
Milwaukee also has that
Not sure I’ve seen it… do you have a model #. I’d like to check it out.
Home Depot’s website says it’s “exclusive”. … so you probably won’t find it elsewhere
I have that one too.. I haven’t picked up the pass through set, but have some of the deep well flip sockets that use that adapter.
@@DanielDraper-ki4hr 👍
I have yet to see one in Canada ( I checked the local Depot ) We call it the Home Despot !
Mine hasn’t had it in store yet either… only online.
Interesting !
I think so too!
Great video and really cool tool.
Appreciate that. I think it’s pretty cool too.. really great new option for an 11-1
@@MORGANSMaintenance Have you checked out the Trucker's Friend? It's a demo/emergency tool that is available on Amazon. It's US made and has a lifetime guarantee. I leave it in my car and have used it a surprising number of times. It's great for demo work and for doing all sorts of things when camping. It's a solid pry bar. The axe head was pretty dull when I got it, but after a few minutes with a file, it's super sharp.
@@914Rocky I haven’t seen it.. I will give it a look.
Appreciate it 👍
Impact *rated* but it's not an impact driver. That would be so cool...
Yeah I guess they can't really make the shaft and handle all solid enough for striking since parts are changeable/movable.
Would be nice 👍👍
What is the Klein thermo on the left ?
I believe it was a promotion a few years ago. I don’t think they sell them, I picked mine up on eBay.
Sold..... what a fantastic video. New subscriber here
I think is a really good version of the 11-1… time will tell on how it hold up.
@@migueltorres79 that’s awesome, I’ll have to check those out 👍
Maybe this will end up being your Super Screwdriver.
By the way my wife really doesn’t like me watching your channel, because I’ve acquired even more tools since I’ve been following you.😂
@@brianhall9019 yeah I get that on here and real life… wives would rather their husband hang out with their old high school girlfriend than me 😂
I like it
Yeah, if you like 11-1 screwdrivers… this is the most feature packed one I’ve had.
Thanks for watching 👍
is that a coffee thermos shaped like a klein screwdriver?
Yes it is… I found it on eBay after seeing one on Facebook Marketplace. I think it was a promotional item one year
well damn, I'm subscribed to the Klein mailing lists, and browse their product release website every month, and this never popped up!? WTF Klein.
I know, me neither…. This is what I was talking about that would be up your alley. I thought wim is going to like this one.
I ended up getting it earlier than it said. I thought I wasn’t getting it till this weekend.
those nutdrivers are great for sleeve anchors
@@wim0104 yeah I like having those as an option now… if I need magnetic I’ll throw in the flip socket or Malco.
There have been multiple times I needed something a little deeper.
Another commenter said there were 3 different versions of this? That's interesting because I can't find a bit of info on this one, it's not even listed on their website. What the hell is that about?
@@darrencampbell8817 I know… they must have some deal with Home Depot to be sold in their stores they get first dibs… but to not have it on their own website??? 🤷♂️
C’mon Klein… METRIC flippies… pleeeeeease!
I know… you Metric guys get the shaft on a lot of tools.
I only run into them occasionally, but you would think companies would realize they are missing out on an entire segment of the population… that and most of us would buy both versions if we needed it or not 😂
👍
Appreciate it 👍
Did you know that the screwdriver is the third most used tool in the average American home. A hammer is the second most used tool, and the most used tool in the average American home is the butter knife.
I can see the hammer… but would have never guessed a butter knife 😂
These 11-1 type of screwdrivers are the ones I keep in my house, the cup holder in my truck, and any other quick grab spot. Great for when you don’t 100% know what you are about to deal with.
9:39
That's what she said.
😂😂.
I usually have one of those moments every video when I watch it back 👍
I like Klein Tools, but Klein has a crappy warranty that requires YOU to keep a receipt.😢😢
I’ve never used their warranty so that’s good to know.
Some people say they take theirs into Home Depot and just swap stuff. I’ve never done it… and to be honest based on my experience of returns I find that hard to believe. Would be nice.
@@MORGANSMaintenance I never tried Home Depot on Klein. I emailed Klein directly and they were sad.
I have had Craftsman and Stanley even substitute better tools and or a complete set.
There's nothing I'd rather do on a ladder with gloves on than fiddle around with a 3D memory game.
This one sucks just because it's got no magnets. The 20-1 is much better
Yeah for certain things it’s not great.
Sometimes a hollow bit driver is useful, but a magnetic one is usually more useful.
Made in Taiwan
I didn’t check but I’m sure it probably is… a lot of tools are.
I am going to have to quit watching these youtube tool videos I'm spending a small fortune.
I know…. I didn’t really get into watching UA-cam till about 2 years ago. I have since replaced almost all my tools as an “upgrade” 😂..
SHUT UP AND JUST TELL ME. Say game changer one more time. I freaking dare you
There is a GAME CHANGER chapter that you could have skipped ahead to watch…
I like to do that because I feel like being able to add chapters to videos is another Game Changer that separates my channel from some others.
Thanks for watching and taking the time comment 👍
Milwaukee makes excellent tools. So does Klein but you Milwaukee tools are about 1/2 the cost.
Klein wants to take my hard earned money for no res; benefits.
Many German tools are better than Klein and cost the same or less
I run all Milwaukee power tools (for the most part) Their hand tools I have used over the years are pretty good too. Some of the best you can get at Home Depot.
Klein pliers/strippers/etc. are beginning to be priced fairly high. They are good, but I prefer Knipex right now and the price is pretty close on those.
👍
Thanks Charles 👍
