Honda temperature checks with an IR gun for reference.
80F outside and temps taken just before the fans come on.

You should have the spring clamp at the thermostat too. Those worm clamps will ruin the hose, and probably leak from expansion and contraction. I do love my '89 Lxi Coupe!
