It’s not that nobody wants to make the video it’s just pretty obvious what the problem is. Either your key fob battery needs changed in both remotes or you changed something on your car like for me it was putting kooks long tube headers on my car. Once I removed all 4 catalytic converters a message was sent to GM which they send me a message saying the car needs serviced immediately. So yea it’s B.S.

Have a 89 accord not starting. It’s been sitting for awhile. The battery fully charged. It started it but did not stay idle and shut off.
First guess is make sure it has gasoline in it. The gas tank may be a mess from sitting. www.3geez.com start a post!

Use your valet key to open the driver's side door which should be in the key fob. Press the key fob on the push to start button and it should zoom zoom

For those who read the comments, it just happened to me in my 2021 Camaro SS a few minutes ago. I left my car parked and when I came back and tried to start it, the engine wouldn't start but the menu inside the car looked like the whole car was on and at the same time the check engine light came up. I just opened the hood of the car and tried to start the car and boom! It started perfectly!
So i just bought a old 88 accord and have been having some issues with my carb. Someone switched it over to a Weber carb any advice on where to move forward? Got some sputtering issues in drive

You should have the spring clamp at the thermostat too. Those worm clamps will ruin the hose, and probably leak from expansion and contraction. I do love my '89 Lxi Coupe!

It was the keyfob batteries were dead so I could not open the doors.
The alternator output doesn’t have anything to do this. Internally regulated or externally regulated it’s only going to deliver up to 14.5V. The alternator amperage output is “charging capacity.” Ie a 200amp alternator does not deliver 200amps

Better answer from me. You are protecting the old wiring from high amps melting the wire. Voltage is not the problem. Most Automotive wires are rated for several 100 volts.
So is the weirdest thing is not the key fob. For some reason all Camaros do this from time to time. And is annoying. You have to leave your key fob in the cup holders for like 15 mins until it wants to start again .. really annoying.

55 mph was National speed limit at the time. Just to remind you I guess. Also thats where the cars gas mileage is rated at.

22-24 mph on E85. 28-30 mpg on gasoline. All time record 37 mph on 94 octane Sunoco when it had about 180,000 mile on it. I paid 5000$ for it in 1994. New its was 14,000$

On a 1988 Honda Accord I would look at the Main relay under the dashboard driver side first.

So if I'm following correctly, all you did was run a new heavy gauge wire from the positive side of the battery to the positive terminal of the alternator and that was it? No disconnecting any other wires? I've a 75 Scout and I would like to bypass the ammeter on it.
Yes sir thats all that is needed. In the future I would think about going with a volt guage and or replacing the amp meter with a shunt style or clamp(ct) style.

I've considered one for this cottage I am living in if the unit ever goes out. Its just about the same size as your garage.
I think its 18,000 btu. I like them but the air flow out of them is lacking. So where I was standing I was cold filming this, the garages edges still felt hot.

I changed the FOB batteries and got the doors open that way. I do keep the hood open now when Its parked and I check the battery voltage weekly with a meter.

There listed as Moog or TRW brand usually. Moog K90142 is 1 1/4 degree.
That’s funny. I had one of those too. mine was smaller though.. Pretty sure crescent is under the Rubbermaid handle.
Just to add. Newell Rubbermaid did own Irwin brand and Hanson for quite a while. Both those companies made tools. Vise Grips and C clamps. Hanson made taps and drill bits.
Sea Foam has 25% alcohol in it.

@@danafletcher2341 The fuel shut off in the carb started to stick a little a few years ago and one application it was back to normal. I just keep using it now.
Put a 2nd ecu in it with a pump gas tune and toggle the power with a rocker switch! Poor man's flex fuel, ha!
I need an easy solution without going OBD2. I run 40lbs of fuel pressure on E85 so I think going to 35 lbs would be ok on gasoline...if the injectors will run that low.
