They can be a useful unit. I’ve owned several, mainly for race cars. Obviously provides shelter for the tractor w/o township hassle over an additional building. For my ag adventures an open trailer works best. Being able to side load and easier strap down are my biggest advantage. However the tractor is exposed to the elements. No trouble with theft, my crap is not worth stealing! Lol. I hope it works out as you intend.
I do have an additional comment. If you plan on putting the RK 25 in the trailer what is your solution for the ROPS? Too darned tall to fit with a “normal” garage door. I feel TYM lost sight of their target market for this size tractor (T25 / RK 25). As I may have said already, my dealer commented that many have removed the top of their ROPS! Ugh.
Fantastic question. The video below shares a way to get the tractor into a normal size garage door. The trailer has an extra tall ramp door and a dovetail. @@gatheringrusthobbyfarm8081 I remeasured my various doors. They range from a low of 82 to 83.25 depending on the door and/or building. IF I leave the hoe on I should be able to put it inside for winter storage. Without hoe I don’t know, as the unit is on back order. Thanks for your research as I have only be able to measure units w/o the hoe. I certainly hope you are 100% as I prefer to put them inside. Makes me feel better about my purchase, still disappointed the outriggers are not mechanically secured (I can correct that however). Will fab a different pull bar arrangement as well. Thanks again.
