I have an rk25 also. I bought the matching new 72” finish mower, the book says only cut grass not huge stuff like you did. It’s nice to know it will handle big stuff , I was fearful of doing what you did. Now I can go on vacation and know I can come home to an overgrown acreage and be ok. Thanks for the good info. I also watched your 50 hr series and took heed to loosen the pipe before pulling the tube screen. I love how you get right to the point. Keep doing it right with real world situations sir. Don
Thanks for the sharing about how the content on the channel has helped you. We wanted to put it through it’s paces and see how well it would handle the load like it was. Considering we bought it second hand and it had no warranty we didn’t have much to worry about. Very happy with the outcome as it gave great information. Considering subscribing so you get the new content as it comes out.
Please do a review on the granite grapple for the RK25 like the weight of it and the length and all its capabilities please. On the fence about buying one.
This grapple is a loaner and I cannot do a review on it. However the 54” Top Dog Granite Grapple is a great attachment. I have operated it and know several people with them. They are all very happy with them. I also know that RK is getting a new set of grapples. They are made by King Kutter. I can’t wait to get my hands on one. After seeing them I want one. They should be out soon.
Thanks for the suggestion. We wanted to put it through it’s paces and see how well it would handle the load like it was. Very happy with the outcome as it gave great information.
We are trying some new possibilities. Raised beds and a berry farm. We have been planting new trees and building the raised beds. Hopefully we will be able to share content soon. I am working multiple jobs right now and have had NO time to do anything.
@@gatheringrusthobbyfarm8081 - hope your luck is better than mine with the berries. Year 3 for us - should actually get some blackberries this year, raspberries are still pretty sad. Chipmunks are eating my strawberries, and birds eating my blueberries. I either need to plant a whole lot more, or deal with the critters.
We have already picked raspberries this year and they were great. For the past three years we have had great success with the berries. Now time to add more and grow.
This is actually a greenhouse we bought from Harbor Freight before we had a channel. We did a lot of upgrade during the initial build which is why it has lasted this long. Thank for watching and glad you enjoyed the content.
Great video :) Too bad you didn't get the ordeal on video. Could you guys do a video on your tractor mods? Like the mirrors, etc. How are the prices down south for 2nd hand attachments? Up here in Canada I'd be lucky to pick up a finish mower for $1500 used. Keep up the hard work.
I wish I had the video of me being stuck. It was actually pretty scary. I was afraid of the tractor slipping into the pond, rolling and endless possibilities of what could have been. After I got it out I was kicking myself for not getting it recorded. I actually have plans to show the few additions we have made to the tractor. Pricing on second hand really depends on how much you scour the sources. Gotta be first to see it get in touch with the seller. The deals are out there if you can get lucky enough. Thanks for the positive feedback. Consider subscribing.

You should set your gauge wheels for the highest setting if your using your mower for a brush hog and it will not cut into the ground.

Can you mow with it 6 to 8 inches high from the ground. Looking for one to mow my clover food plot that cuts at least 6 to 8 inching high
I don’t know the actual specs for grass height. However I believe it will be perfect for clover plots.
I have a shed frame about that size that my wife wants turned into a greenhouse. What did you cover yours with? Enjoy the content, thanks!

That’s a finish mower. You are using it for a bush hog
