It reminded me of the first season when Barnett picked Amber over Jessica; then Jessica picked a guy she didn't like just to stay in the show ( and maybe get to Barnett again). So messy! It was the best reunion btw.

Sergio gives me anxiety!! Listening to his word salad explanations of his projected insecurities...my heart was racing because he reminds me of my toxic ex. I would just be sitting there like "What the hell are you actually talking about?!" and I felt that for Amanda, she looked so utterly confused. And stemming from the fact that she didn't wear that bracelet??!! Please girl. I hope she snaps out of it and runs fast in the opposite direction!!

Uh, I wore a brace 23 hrs a day for a YEAR when I was 14/15 for an S-curve moderate scoliosis (which I still have, the brace just stops it curving.) -- I am 5'10 and you cannot tell I have scoliosis unless you plan to exam my xrays. Ugh. Hate some people.
Yeah me too, I had to wear it all day from 11 to 14 and then because I wasn't growing at all I was allowed not to wear it in school those 5 hours. This was the first time I actually heard someone sharing the same experience I had, I seriously have never met someone else who had scoliosis and had to have braces. Luckily I wasn't bullied but it made me really insecure.
Haven’t finished the video yet but I’m so sad for Amanda😩 I think the reason why she chose Sergio is because she’s a Christian and he’s Catholic and as far as I know most swedish people are agnostic so it’s probably difficult to find a Christian man😫 but she deserves so much better!
One thing that I thought was really cool was that the women didn't attack each other... obviously some didn't like others talking to their "first choices", but there was always a bit of respect, empathy. At least what the show showed us

And we saw Meira going to talk to Kimia, revealing the bad intentions of that “big russian guy”. Like, many girls showed support for each other.. its very different from the US version. But again, just considering what the Show has shown us.

Sweden has manipulative men and pick-me women just like in America 😂😂😂. Almost everyone was also a bit shallow or really cared about the looks of their partners to some degree. It's fascinating how the same or similar behaviors play out across different countries. Sergio is a creep that seems like he's trying to create a fake storyline for the show. To me, he's coming up with crap for attention. He's manipulative and didn't even answer Amanda's question when she confronted him about the seeing other people lie. I don't understand why Meira came on LiB SWEDEN and didn't understand the fact that she may very well be paired with a white blond Swedish man. "Tall, dark, and handsome" to white and/or non-Black people mean tan to brown skin tone and brown to dark hair and eyes. Like a stereotypical Greek and/or looking Italian man. It's okay that Meira has a preference, I just don't get why she thought a country with a high percentage of blond people would get her the type of guy she normally goes for.

Eh idk about that, the ultimatum france edition seemed different then the US one and it wasn't just the font. Like they literally seemed like they all cared about everyone and helping them figure out if they should marry them plus they didn't really have much of a host bc the last one was basically a bbq where they each asked each other about the relationships and if they were happy. I get it's a different show but they are both related to some degree.
As someone actually Swedish honestly I might change it to people who go on reality television is similar haha. Swedish culture is probably not best captured through reality tv bc you aren’t really meant to think you are anything special compared to everyone else and you kinda need to do that to want to be on reality shows.
Honestly I’ve been wondering why people who watch LIB don’t watch the foreign versions, so nice! I think Sergio and Miera are both insecure. Sergio, for the reasons you said and Miera feels like maybe she hasn’t had the best experience growing up in Sweden as a woman of color and she’s projecting that on him. Why you would go on LIB Sweden and have an issue dating a “typical Swedish man” is questionable

I am italian and I am more coloured than Meira! 😂 Jk, but in a sense I think she experienced xenophobic issues more than racial ones. She has typical slavic features, so maybe it is still racism, can be.. I just found it funny to see the usage of "person of colour" when she is as white as snow with blue piercing eyes. 😂

She speaks perfect Swedish, no accent, but we have HUGE divide between Arabic and Swedish people and cultures here, like an absolute enormous one. She was so shocked by how his family actually was, I have no idea what Arabs expect us to be... But we're really not an integrated country, if that expression works, like we're not sharing our cultures and mixing them at ALL over here. So even though she's part Russian, since she said she grew up where ONLY Arabs live over here, that probably led to assumptions and prejudice both from her and towards her. Sorry for this super long explanation, but it's a huge problem over here that they're not getting integrated, just dropped into our completely different society and it doesn't seem like the government understands how or that anything needs to change, like I'm an adult living in a city full of immigrants but I've spoken with TWO as friends, only two. Im one of your swedish followers. Love your spot on comments on reality shows. Here in sweden both men and women usually wear engagement rings so yes amandas choice to not give S a ring is not the common thing here.
Is that during the engagement or at the alter? Here in America a woman is usually waiting for the man to propose which is usually a surprise so during the engagement process only a woman has a ring. Both then exchange wedding bans when at the alter.

Some men still do the whole surprise thing but it's really not unconventional anymore to just decide together, decide a celebration together and plan everything together. I'm newly engaged but men's rings were TWICE as expensive as the one we decided on for me so my fiancé is wearing non-gold rings in rotation now 😹

The only couple that is actually attracted to each other is Rasmus and Krise-Ly. Everyone else are clearly NOT attracted but didn't have the ballS to admit it. They all have the ick for one another and are covering it with various excuses ("maybe my attraction for her will grow," we're from different cultures so..." I'm Shrek but you don't need to know my name"). I'd be surprised if any of them say I do. Even Rasmus and Krise-Ly. They have other issues not related to attraction.
I don’t know if I misunderstood but I don’t think that Rasmus was hoping that Krisse-Ly was Asian. I think that he was concerned about what she looked like because she said that her background was Estonian and he was unfamiliar with Estonia. He even mentioned that the spelling of her name was unfamiliar and made the comment about her being Asian/as if she could be Asian for all he knows. When she mentioned Estonia, I think he was concerned as he did not know what to expect. I think that he and Sergio were the two guys that were admittedly shallow, and are not anything special to look at and yet both got beautiful women. Both women are clearly into them and I don’t think that either of them even mentioned the guys’ looks and yet I don’t think that either of the guys would have accepted either of the women if they were as sub par as both men are.
That's generally the case in these programmes. The women get a poor deal. As for Rasmus being unfamiliar about Estonia. That's just lies. Sweden borders the Baltic Sea and Estonia is on the other side; it's only 250 miles away. He knows about it. The name Krissy - Ly SOUNDS Asian though, so I could understand why he thought that.
No, swedish people know Estonia, there are ferries between the capital cities of both countries and alcohol is cheaper in Estonia, so I guess a lot of Swedish people have visited Tallinn.

Ahh as a Swede who watched your regular LIB reviews, this made me so excited! Would love it if you could touch on the "Swedish dating vs. American dating", if you see any differences being American. And yes, in Sweden usually when people get engaged (which rarely leads to actual marriage it seems) they both get a ring, not like in America where the woman gets a flashy diamond at first.

I'm so glad I found this. Is anyone else impressed by the level of self-awareness & ability to communicate their needs/feelings/faults??? I feel like most of the people on LIB Sweden are much more mature, even if there's still some miscommunication & drama mixed in. Also they're all older which I think is so much more realistic for being ready to get married. Also - this group is such a good example of women supporting women. I'm so glad you're doing LIB Sweden! Sergio is terribly insecure and manipulating, always needs to have the upper hand to feel in control, but he's driven by fear. Amanda is a sweetheart but a little too naive. I think she wants to be loved and she's willing to sacrifice boundaries and everything in order to have it. I like Emilia and it's sad to see that she's been treated this way and made her feel unattractive by a fuckboi. Rasmus seems okay to me so far. But Krisse-ly is another deeply insecure person on the show. I guarantee you she will ruin it for herself. Christopher is another sweetheart. He's kind and emotionally intelligent. I actually like his bohemian crazy style. It's sad to see that Catja is on a dopamine hunt and she can't appreciate a man like that. From what I saw this far, she wants the highs and lows of a toxic relationship.
The only couple that should get married is Krissy and Rasmuss and at the same time, she probably just looking for someone to pay her bills. I just have to comment that my favorite part was end of episode, where she is talking about how she right now would say no to marrying Oskar, and they cut to a scene of him laughing playing with bubbles with intense music over it. OMG I watched it five times and laughed.

Omg I'm so glad you decided to watch the Swedish LIB! I'm from Sweden and watch all your videos!!! I would looove to hear from your point of view what you think are some differences in the dating world in Sweden vs. US for instance. When I watch the shows I feel like swedes are less inclined to be vulnerable and the focus is more on outer appearance and sex versus americans who usually are more religious, family-oriented and willing to find love (ie. not so picky) and it's just more traditional overall (just compare the fact that Krisse-ly proposed to Rasmus, that isn't exactly "rare" although not the absolute norm either, and having two engagement rings in fact is the norm in Sweden so yeah, we are much more "modern" or to put it differently, the genders are more equal in a sense). But those are just some of my thoughts. :)

Emilia and Lucas. The physical attraction isn't there with him. When the man isn't physically attracted to the woman it rarely works out, but we'll see. I think she's a bit too forward for him. I've seen episode 5 where he meets Meira's family (at least some of them).

Sergio is a creep that seems like he's trying to create a fake storyline for the show. To me, he's coming up with crap for attention. He's manipulative and didn't even answer Amanda's question when she confronted him about the seeing other people lie.
I don't understand why Meira came on LiB SWEDEN and didn't understand the fact that she may very well be paired with a white blond Swedish man. "Tall, dark, and handsome" to white and/or non-Black people mean tan to brown skin tone and brown to dark hair and eyes. Like a stereotypical Greek and/or looking Italian man. It's okay that Meira has a preference, I just don't get why she thought a country with a high percentage of blond people would get her the type of guy she normally goes for.

Eh idk about that, the ultimatum france edition seemed different then the US one and it wasn't just the font. Like they literally seemed like they all cared about everyone and helping them figure out if they should marry them plus they didn't really have much of a host bc the last one was basically a bbq where they each asked each other about the relationships and if they were happy. I get it's a different show but they are both related to some degree.

Honestly I’ve been wondering why people who watch LIB don’t watch the foreign versions, so nice! I think Sergio and Miera are both insecure. Sergio, for the reasons you said and Miera feels like maybe she hasn’t had the best experience growing up in Sweden as a woman of color and she’s projecting that on him. Why you would go on LIB Sweden and have an issue dating a “typical Swedish man” is questionable

She speaks perfect Swedish, no accent, but we have HUGE divide between Arabic and Swedish people and cultures here, like an absolute enormous one. She was so shocked by how his family actually was, I have no idea what Arabs expect us to be... But we're really not an integrated country, if that expression works, like we're not sharing our cultures and mixing them at ALL over here. So even though she's part Russian, since she said she grew up where ONLY Arabs live over here, that probably led to assumptions and prejudice both from her and towards her. Is that during the engagement or at the alter? Here in America a woman is usually waiting for the man to propose which is usually a surprise so during the engagement process only a woman has a ring. Both then exchange wedding bans when at the alter.

Some men still do the whole surprise thing but it's really not unconventional anymore to just decide together, decide a celebration together and plan everything together. I'm newly engaged but men's rings were TWICE as expensive as the one we decided on for me so my fiancé is wearing non-gold rings in rotation now 😹

The only couple that is actually attracted to each other is Rasmus and Krise-Ly. Everyone else are clearly NOT attracted but didn't have the ballS to admit it. They all have the ick for one another and are covering it with various excuses ("maybe my attraction for her will grow," we're from different cultures so..." I'm Shrek but you don't need to know my name").
I'd be surprised if any of them say I do. Even Rasmus and Krise-Ly. They have other issues not related to attraction.
I don’t know if I misunderstood but I don’t think that Rasmus was hoping that Krisse-Ly was Asian. I think that he was concerned about what she looked like because she said that her background was Estonian and he was unfamiliar with Estonia. He even mentioned that the spelling of her name was unfamiliar and made the comment about her being Asian/as if she could be Asian for all he knows. When she mentioned Estonia, I think he was concerned as he did not know what to expect.
I think that he and Sergio were the two guys that were admittedly shallow, and are not anything special to look at and yet both got beautiful women. Both women are clearly into them and I don’t think that either of them even mentioned the guys’ looks and yet I don’t think that either of the guys would have accepted either of the women if they were as sub par as both men are.

No, swedish people know Estonia, there are ferries between the capital cities of both countries and alcohol is cheaper in Estonia, so I guess a lot of Swedish people have visited Tallinn.

Ahh as a Swede who watched your regular LIB reviews, this made me so excited! Would love it if you could touch on the "Swedish dating vs. American dating", if you see any differences being American. And yes, in Sweden usually when people get engaged (which rarely leads to actual marriage it seems) they both get a ring, not like in America where the woman gets a flashy diamond at first.

@@blurryinterests I think this is the "new standard" influenced by America. I believe back in the day both got a humble band at first, and then the actual wedding ring was a bit flashier. But I'm not entirely sure, my parents and other family members/friends never went the diamond route. 😅

I'm so glad I found this. Is anyone else impressed by the level of self-awareness & ability to communicate their needs/feelings/faults??? I feel like most of the people on LIB Sweden are much more mature, even if there's still some miscommunication & drama mixed in. Also they're all older which I think is so much more realistic for being ready to get married.

Sergio is terribly insecure and manipulating, always needs to have the upper hand to feel in control, but he's driven by fear.
Amanda is a sweetheart but a little too naive. I think she wants to be loved and she's willing to sacrifice boundaries and everything in order to have it.
I like Emilia and it's sad to see that she's been treated this way and made her feel unattractive by a fuckboi.
Rasmus seems okay to me so far. But Krisse-ly is another deeply insecure person on the show. I guarantee you she will ruin it for herself.
Christopher is another sweetheart. He's kind and emotionally intelligent. I actually like his bohemian crazy style. It's sad to see that Catja is on a dopamine hunt and she can't appreciate a man like that. From what I saw this far, she wants the highs and lows of a toxic relationship.
The only couple that should get married is Krissy and Rasmuss and at the same time, she probably just looking for someone to pay her bills. Emilia should just walk away, she knows Lucas don't like her, just like Oskar should leave Meira, she don't like him, and she doesn't seem like a nice person, glad Christopher and Catwoman broke up. I love Amanda, hope she says no to Sergio. He treats her poorly, and she too nice

Yes it's common that both people exchange engagement rings in Sweden. The weird thing though is that Amanda already told Sergio she wants another tradition - with the engagement ring only for the woman and her father giving her away... (In Sweden the bride and groom typically walk down the isle together). Sergio is so insecure, blaming it on her and lying about stuff :/

Omg I'm so glad you decided to watch the Swedish LIB! I'm from Sweden and watch all your videos!!! I would looove to hear from your point of view what you think are some differences in the dating world in Sweden vs. US for instance. When I watch the shows I feel like swedes are less inclined to be vulnerable and the focus is more on outer appearance and sex versus americans who usually are more religious, family-oriented and willing to find love (ie. not so picky) and it's just more traditional overall (just compare the fact that Krisse-ly proposed to Rasmus, that isn't exactly "rare" although not the absolute norm either, and having two engagement rings in fact is the norm in Sweden so yeah, we are much more "modern" or to put it differently, the genders are more equal in a sense). But those are just some of my thoughts. :)
