We all know what to do though. Listen throughout the night, be prepared to move at any time, watch the water at all times. Probably the best advice is to stay healthy, eat well on the bank so alertness and mobility is at 100 percent. But at the end of the day it's only fishing.
I fished a 100 acre lake with about 40 carp up to low thirty’s ( this is in north) the water was not on radar and not fished at time I caught 33 different fish over two seasons an absolutely loved every minute it was hard work with lots of walking/looking

Too many people probably thing think these named anglers rack up and drag a lump out on their second night. To catch big fish on a regular basis you need to put in tonnes of effort and sweat. Good watch as usual with Adam.

Then the karmic cycle begins again, but. Carp anglers don't see they are paying for what they are doing to the innocent creatures...the carp themselves are the innocent creatures we love or do we? Let's be honest with ourselves hunting animals until they are terrified, subjecting them to trauma , fear and being relentlessly pursued by anglers and their sharp hooks embedded into their mouths isn't loving anything now is it? If you saw a human being, a dog or your pet cat or a bird being treated like that you would be up in arms.
Carp fishing is an addiction like heroin is an addiction only Carp anglers are blinded by what they are doing to their quarry. That is the truth of the matter we inflict pain on beautiful creatures and justify it through our photo albums.
