Brilliant work Ryan, I love your work and it’s really nice that you show the whole process in one video. I’ve been leatherworking for a while now and I’m just at the stage of creating my own patterns in AI. This along with your other videos on has given me the inspiration to do this - thank you!
Appreciate your work and your method of teaching. I try to use similar methods as i teach. I try to keep learning about new things, and leather has been my latest venture, which is how I ended up on this video. Thanks
a work of art - love your stuff - i have an idea, myself, for something specific i would like, but doesn't appear to exist anywhere, and i can only find one other post on the internet looking for the same thing i'm thinking of; cannot wait to get into this craft and to bring my idea to reality ✌
thank you for making such a detailed video! also, thank you for your strength in your faith and that you are not ashamed to incorperate it into your business. its awesome to see a Christian that openly lives and shares their faith in God in their business!
Incredible work! As a beginner, this is very inspiring. I have also been wanting to improvemy product photography and your tips will certainly help. Thanks!
That is a beautiful product!!!! I absolutely love it. How great would it be to pull that out of your back pack and you have your own workstation just ready to go. Great job!!
really nice job, I didn't have the time to watch the full video yet, so my apologies if it has been said, but doesn't the leather keep the warm from the laptop and overheat it ?
I live in Japan and thought this was a great idea; however, it’s too big to be “portable” on a coffee shop shared table. I think this is a great idea if you have a table to yourself but you could make a “sleeve workstation” where the mouse pad is literally just one of the folds with the smooth side of the leather, or even like Bison leather for a grainier finish on top. If it all folded in on itself and only had the pad sticking out then it would be HOOOOT for smaller countries where people are crammed together haha. You could call it “the origami workstation”. A bunch of foldable sides as a sleeve or carry “bag” like this design. More of a minimal look.
I love your work, I still do everything by hand and have recently considered laser and sewing machine. With your design software, laser, photography and making the product not to mention maintaining a website and uploading video content, do you believe you have saved time on product output? Thank you for sharing your process I really appreciate your video's.
Thanks 🙏🏼. Every piece of machinery that saves you time is freeing you up for something else. The more time I spend on something that is taking me away from important things is a business killer especially when you are flying solo. Upgrade when you can without breaking the bank. Sometimes you have to take a chance on buying machinery in hopes that you will get more future business.
Hi Ryan! Really nice end result. 👌I hope you got some inspiration for this project from the suggestions in the Short from while back. Great that you made video about this as well!
Great video! There is just one aspect of this design that worries me a little bit. It’s the compression against the screen every time you fold it and press the buttons against the top of the laptop. The inside, when folded can produce a single point of contact, like the pen’s clip. Maybe a hard piece of plastic can help a lot to distribute pressure when applied.
AFAIK that Generative Fill runs on Adobe's servers and sends you back the result. It's not running on the computer locally and not utilizing any AI cores.
Love your videos by the way. You have inspired me to start my own UA-cam channel but my work is kinda embarrassing compared to yours. Keep up the good work👍
So I am starting leather craft. I'm not entirely new, but I do know that I will be pursuing this for a long time. I could very easily start with an amazon starter kit, but I am only 17 years old, which means I would have to upgrade soon (and I don't have a job). My family is funding my leather craft journey by giving me around 600-700 dollars. I want to get Palo Santo tools, because I know that I am going to pursue this for a really long time. Do you think this is a good Idea, or should I just start with a basic amazon starter kit?
Very Interested in signing up for your prize, but most of the methods you have required are blocked by my computer besides the you-tube method, so I cant unlock the other 160 ways to enter. Do have another way to sign up, or could you attach a list of things i could possibly complete
Question. The economy has been junk for a while now. I started out selling strong 3 years ago. Now I just have people telling me I do a great job but not buying anything. I blame it on inflation and the economy but. I don't have the money to do the stuff you do.
Excellent job,
Great to see you back on UA-cam, I hope you and your family is doing well, you should upload more often, your content is so soothing.
Thank you! It’s hard to make time for video projects these days, but I’ll do my best. 🙏🏼
I did a lot of leather projects using velcro, I learned that it is always good to stitch them in place otherwise in time they'll fall off
Finally! Someone made it what was in my mind for centuries feels like it
Love that and want commercial product where people like me can buy.
The mouse pad should be bigger than the coaster or wireless charger side imo.
Great suggestion! I found that there was more than enough room to move the mouse around a 16” laptop screen 👍🏼
I love UA-cam channels that focus on quality in items they make!
Thanks so much for watching!!

Still my idol! Thanks for your continued inspiration and excellent craftsmanship.

Thanks so much! I love the idea of having a fully-functional workstation on the go!
Really enjoyed this video. You were able to exhibit your mastery in several fields that are rooted to your success as a creator!
looks like roughly 5,300 people have entered - good luck everybody 😉
😱😱😱
True artist. Thank you for sharing and what a beautiful product.
I appreciate it! 🙏🏼
Awesome stuff. I got one of your wallets last year for my birthday from my wife and its been great. Love seeing your work out of Ontario
Love this! Incredible design, as always.
Thanks so much!
Beautiful work as always Ryan!
Haha yo! Thanks Matt!
really nice job, I didn't have the time to watch the full video yet, so my apologies if it has been said, but doesn't the leather keep the warm from the laptop and overheat it ?
That laser has to make prototyping 100% easier. Good to see you making some videos again
Oh man, the laser is a beast for prototyping for sure!

Nice, great to see you back with videos, its been too long
I know! 🙏🏼

I appreciate you pointing that out! I'll definitely think about adding some extra support in the next version.
Do you have any plans on selling the pattern like you do for some of your other items?
Great to see a new video. Well worth the wait and lovie the new product.
lol a leather work station, I was expecting a slab of end grain wood, a mallet, and a pail of tools. 😂❤😂🎉
Such an awesome video (as always).
Glad you enjoyed it!
Impressive. Inspiring. Great presentation.
love this case
Been a minute since I've seen one of your great videos but congrats for being busy! Keep up the great work!
I know, I've been trying to squeeze in some video time!
Beautiful job on the project. Really love it. What leather did you use? Gorgeous.
Thanks 🙏🏼, it’s Waxy Olmo from badalassi Carlo. I sell it at www.littlekingsupplyco.com
AFAIK that Generative Fill runs on Adobe's servers and sends you back the result. It's not running on the computer locally and not utilizing any AI cores.
Is there any way you could add something that could hold the mouse. Without destroying the look of the entire thing.

Thanks so much! It’s all about the journey! 🙏🏼
How much is the price? your make it really good🎉
Absolute beauty
Awesome work man! What leather did you use for this build?

Makes it pretty easy if you have a $10,000 laser cutter.
1000% it does! That’s why I bought one!
@LittleKingGoods Good idea! Just the cutting alone would take hours otherwise. Plus a much greater chance of messing it up.
Soo beautiful 🤩
Wooo hes back
All around very nice. Where would we be able to buy this pattern?
Great question! I'm actually in the process of finalizing the pattern and plan to sell them in the near future.
The giveaway entry is not letting me enter. It says I’m putting in too many entries but I haven’t even put in one.
Very nice 😊👍
loved this video.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Very cool idea.
Thanks!
Omg. I want one!!!!I can’t find it on the website
thanks a lot!! veery interesing
I'm glad you found it interesting!

Hey! Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, I’m not running the contest. Another company is.
And the laptop charger??
Can we buy this ?
Блок питания - отдельная сумка? -))
И мышку туда же…🤔
what is the name of a skin scratcher?
I believe that tool is called "roughing tool".
Yup! An edge rougher.
Love this...here from The Philippines..
🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
Love from India🇮🇳🇮🇳
Sorry this promotion is not valid for your reign.😂😂
Not ideal if you are left handed
It’s easy to make it in a left handed orientation 👍🏼

Yea it’s been definitely a lot slower this year for me too. It gives me more time to work on new designs and make more vids!
