Very nice video! My son and I are trying to visit all the state parks in Virginia. Pocahontas State Park happens to be the closest one to where I live, so of course this is the one we visit frequently. Thank goodness for a parking pass.
Visiting all the Virginia State Parks is a great goal. We'd love to do that, too. They provide such a nice way to get outdoors and have some fun adventures. Good luck on your journey.
Great hiking trails there and I love either bringing my kayak or renting a kayak to go out on the water. Locally its known for its awesome mountain biking trails. My son loves going there for the big bike jumps!
Thanks! Pocahontas really is a great place to get outside. The mountain biking we did was great and there are so many miles of trails. I agree with you that it is also a good place for kayaking.

@@traveltrailsail We camped out at the Florida Keys last February and I have to say that was amazing! We've enjoyed camping out west as well, more recently we enjoyed Moab a lot! Although we live in Virginia we haven't actually camped in any of the states parks mostly because of the close proximity, but about a year ago we did get a camper after thinking about it for years so I'd like to try to do more camping closer to home.

@@millerbrenda1149 Isn't that in West Virginia up by Lost River State Park? This state park is in Virginia. Maybe 3 or 4 hours away.

I too like kayaking I use to go down the river that I use to live on until I retired and now rent a apartment
