Virginia starts at the coast and goes to the Cumberland Gap where Virginia, Tennessee, and Kentucky meet. Your video shows a Virginia that ends at Roanoke. There's another 350 miles of Virginia west of Roanoke that has great places to visit.
If you got to Williamsburg go to Jamestown as well it is amazing my kids loved it we went there four years in a row and to Virginia Beach It was just beautiful!
Thank you for talking about Virginia! We have tons of history here and while most of our cities are few and far between, and less heavily populated than those of some places ( until you get to Northern Virginia), there are many beautiful places to visit here.
If you’re a history buff visit Fredericksburg and the surrounding areas of spotsylvania stafford etc for battle fields, landmarks, Washington’s birth place etc
as someone who is born and raised in northern VA (right next to Great Falls Park, actually [def. check it out]) I can attest to a couple of the places mentioned being worth the trip. Charlottesville is super scenic, and my parents relocated to the colonial Williamsburg area a couple years ago, where theres lots to do with theme parks and shopping while still maintaining a relaxed atmosphere . Richmond is meh, and same with VA Beach/Norfolk.
I live in Salem Virginia! Right outside of Roanoke! I sometimes don’t pay attention to the mountains and how many we have. (In Salem you are in a bowl of mountains. Cannot see anything but mountains) but it’s been like that my whole life so I don’t pay attention to them and get confused why people would come here on vacation to see the mountains, but I’ve started to take it in and realizing how beautiful it is. Also I actually enjoy going to the beach and wherever it’s flat because it’s different to me
This is a great series on U.S. states prepared by Touropia I think these can also serve as an exceptional educational resource (Robin Ruggles, Ph.D., Founder of Eloray online social studies resources). Thank you and congratulations.
The dot showing the part of Virginia they were talking about next for each location was kind of pointless. If the map was zoomed in on the state, maybe it would make more sense, otherwise, barely looked like the dot moved each time and I'm a VA native lol
I love my state, it never gets any recognition in videos. Everyone wants to visit Texas, New York, and California... I was born in Norfolk, VA but lived in Hampton and Newport News. I was only born in Norfolk due to circumstances. Norfolk is only 20 minutes from Newport News after all, and the historic Yorktown.
Good afternoon Nice ok. Your videos are beautiful. I always support you too. I hope I get noticed and shout out to your vlog idol ERWIN CAVITE TV from silang cavite
So sad that no place in southwestern virginia was featured at all. We have beautiful areas like Cumberland Gap, Natural Tunnel, the Breaks National Park, etc. Southwestern Virginia and its beauty seems to always be ignored. 😮
Can you say, "Spin The Block?” Go to the barber shop, Spin The Block Hey, Hey... Spin The Block... Grab that jersey and Spin The Block Peek-A-Boo... SPIN THE BLOOOOOCCCCKKKK I tried tell you, SPIN THE BLOCK BUT ALL Y’ALL DID was, SPINNNNNN THE BLOCK SPIN THE BLOCK, BLOCK, BLOCK...
As a Virginian skip norfolk and richmond, crime is spiking and if you want to see historical monuments better get there fast. Falling like dominoes. Williamsburg historic triangle is amazing and Nelson County is breath taking. Oh and NOVA(northern Virginia) is basically DC so crime is a problem there too.
Agree with the above. As a life long Virginian, Richmond has a great food and brew scene, museums and a great park system. No crowds of other cities offering less. All the areas you’d visit here are pretty safe. My kids bike to eat on their own in carytown. Think politics tend to cloud reality for most of us. NoVA isn’t really crime ridden either. Might die driving around there, or end up parking on the interstate (they call it rush hour), but not dangerous. Agree Nelson county and the western part of the state are beautiful. Do something like the vintage apple festival if they still have it. I never got Williamsburg, but know many that love it. Virginia is a great state, beautiful with great people. Don’t let someone scare you off from visiting.
The People's Republic Of Charlottesville used to be a great city to visit. Not any longer. It is so bad now that, if you visit Monticello, you get a very distorted description of Thomas Jefferson.
I wish the state of Virginia advertise more of this natural beauty the state has to offer
Easy on Richmond lol. Richmond is an amazing city.
Agreed
The most beautiful and powerful nation in the world! thank you from the bottom of my heart touropia! ❤️🇺🇸

Virginia beach sucks go to the outer banks much more friendly
I there there also, can we chat private.

I can’t wait to tour VA. Born and raised, but have only seen a minute (my-noot) portion of it and that’s mostly because of work.
just like the other videos, perfect, it motivates and inspires me how to keep working on my channel, congratulations and thanks for the content.
Mount Rodgers state park. When you.hike to the top of the mountain, you can see Virginia, Tennessee, and North Carolina. You can see out 20 miles
I lived in manassas for over 10 years, and know the state and surrounding Country.... It's worth seeing!
Virginia is a beautiful state, I remembered a song from John Denver - "country road".
i love watching this video
That's West Virginia.
It's west virginia in that song.
@@naimspice2029West Virginia and Virginia used to be one anyway 😂
@@joeyharper4976 Not when he wrote this song.
Virginia cost of living is high, but it seems like it’s worth it 😊 I love history and nature.
If you’re a history buff visit Fredericksburg and the surrounding areas of spotsylvania stafford etc for battle fields, landmarks, Washington’s birth place etc
Your travel guide is so good, really good. Great places to explore and to visit there. Nice Virginia👌
Beautiful Tourist point
It's amazing to see

Roanoke is like my hometown. I still miss it because it was where I first came to the United States and lived for 10 years.
From where did you come?
Really amazing travel video!!!!
Greetings dear!!!
Wow très belle ville 👌🌹
very beautiful virginia
Beautifully made, with a very nice voice over, not using one of those computer voices or loud voices that appear nowadays in every other video.
I live in Christainsburg and work in Blacksburg and can confirm Roanoke is a great place to visit. Living there however...
This is a great series on U.S. states prepared by Touropia I think these can also serve as an exceptional educational resource (Robin Ruggles, Ph.D., Founder of Eloray online social studies resources). Thank you and congratulations.
I can’t believe that Old Town Alexandria wasn’t on the list at all.
It’s ok. Less people know about it, less traffic. But Mt. Vernon is mentioned and most of the time people will end up in Alexandria afterwards.
Love old town and used to work there shhh 😂😂😂😂
It's ok old town Alexandria is my heaven
Why can’t you believe.
Why would it be?
Going to Virginia this November!
Omg that mountain made me so anxious! Lol
